Another great update Don! Good to see the '55 will be getting some attention and repairs. It's always fun to drive them and help to keep you motivated! It's really nice of you to give the shout out to Randy! I kept a lot of my early memorabilia too, it's all stuff that kept us connected to the hobby! Keep up the great work Don!
Hey Don hope all is well just wanted to share with you my dads 57 nomad from around 1965 in San Fernando Valley California when i was 4 or 5 was the first one i remember ! This is the one my mom called the white elephant 🐘 😂 couldnt figure out how to send so i put it on my profile pic Have a great day and thanks for all the memories my good hot rod friend and God Bless ! Your cars are awsome !
Thanks Don for the great videos.. I know that you have a job ,family ,and life, and its great that you can make time to post new content! Wish you and your Chevys and your family Happy Holidays!
Hi Don. Yeah winter is coming. My 57 goes in the garage . Winter brings out my mustang get convertible 👍🏻fun car in cold weather with the heater blasting hot 😂 Have a great Thanksgiving holiday 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎
Thank you Don for the mention in your video! It also led to quite a few more subscribers and I appreciate that! When Dan‘s hot rod garage says you have an epic Barn find with a Nomad, you know it’s real! Thanks again, looking forward to your next video.
Hey Big D, it’s great you took the 56 for a drive, it’s a turn key driver, the louvered hood would be nice to see what it looks like on the 55, but I can’t imagine it looking any better than the stock one, but you never know, good video, have a fantastic Thanksgiving and catch you soon 😀😀
Hey Mike! I'm not real sure how the hood will look on the ragtop. The main reason i like the old cars is because my pops and how i remember them looking when I was a kid. The old-school look is something you don't see much anymore in a "LS" world. Happy Thanksgiving Buddy
So far so good Don! I had the hood on my 57 Nomad louvered and I love the way it looks! At car shows I get negative feedback but I don’t care cause it’s mine and love it! All your cars are cool the way they are! Good taste! Thank you!
What a dilema. To many Tri Fives and which on to work on first. You always seem to have a plan that gets things done. I like your videos and and your a easy guy to listen to.
Appreciate you Big Don and your Nomads and that cool 55 convertible. I could only wish I had one or two of those machines from the era I grew up in. Take care pal.
@RMcDuffee55 Hey Man. Them are 55 Chevy eyebrows sold through J.C Whitney's in the 50s. There almost impossible to find anymore. The 57 Nomad went back home to my brother. I got it from him and he wanted it back. Talk to you later 👍
Good video Don,,,you know I can’t wait to see you driving around with the convertible one day soon,to you have any goal on to what point you’re heading with it,or haven’t you really decided to what extent you’re going to take it to yet?paint possibly ect.
Great update on the car. Little bit at a time and you will definitely get it done. 55 is in good hands. Keep up the good work and enjoy the rest of the week. 👍😎✌️
Hey Don if you get a chance u might want to check out (keep it simple garage) he built a bunch of different cars, But he's done a lot of 69 Camaros, Heck people call him if they got one for him to look at.
A little here and a little there is good Don 👍 Hey I saw a guy on RUclips building a 57 "Nomad" out of a 4 door hardtop and bits and pieces from a rotted out Nomad. My thoughts were that you would Not approve. I saw it after watching your video on how to identify a real 55 convertible.
Hey Gorni. Yes I've seen Ellis Kustoms. I don't mind what he's doing and he does great work. I just don't like seeing cars sold for big money that are not what there are sold as. You know knowledge is power man. Gotta know what your looking at when your buying a old car. Have a good one Buddy 👍
