I love that once Calli realized the other Hololive members find her speaking Japanese with a Texan accent to be peak comedy, she's leaned into it super hard.

I love how Calli is fully capable of speaking Japanese normally but she speaks it with an American accent on purpose because it's way funnier that way.
it almost sounds identical to how JP people say bad jp in american accent in anime. Very close.
The fact that she can speak a heavily tonal language in a very incongruous accent that does not lend itself to fine tonal shifts is a testament to her actual Japanese fluency.
Yeah it is rather noticeable when she switches from smoother Japanese to slow and accented Japanese. I wonder how much of that is for the sake of Fubuki's Sukon-bu more than anything else.

Can someone explain the season concept. I've seen a few streams but I still don't understand what "season" means.
@@Copperkaiju So the rust server reset monthly (everything you've built, destroyed and your inventory).
And in the holoserver, from the time right after the reset to the time before the next reset is considered one season.

@@yellowcard8100 I think it's monthly wipe for holoserver. The default time for the wipe is the first Thursday of each month and that lines up with the last wipe (2nd September).
Yes there are weekly wipe but I don't think they have that on. And blueprint wipe is not mandatory, although when it's needed, they'll wipe all the blueprint.
Each server might have different kind of wipe but I think holoserver only have a monthly wipe, for now.

This Rust season was great, i really enjoyed all the interactions between the En and JP members, the language barrier slowly being broken down.
Honestly rust is a blessing for us. Sooo many interactions not just between en and jp, but with members in general who I've never seen together. I love it

I love how Calli's accent breaks in reverse a few times when she's not paying attention. The accent goes away for a few words instead of the accent coming through.

Really, the best thing about this whole Rust arc is that it got a good chunk of the Hololive members together playing the same game and interacting. Normally, you only ever see this happen MAYBE in Minecraft for events but every day we would see interactions that were either very rare or brand new between members and many fun and funny memories were made.
I know right - even here, while these four are sitting here gambling, you have Suisei, Roboco, Kanata, and Gura partying up to go shoot people. These have been groups that no one thought of ever and it was awesome!
