What is the most eye opening is that Lewi is already an absolutely epic rider and even he cannot keep up with Sam's extraordinary skills when it comes to riding those weird contraptions. Well done to both for producing those amazing videos. What a Sunday night treat!
Sam has reached the same point that the guys from Braille Skateboarding have. When you ride so much off the wall weird stuff that you somehow start to get good at it.
I'm new to Sam's Pilgrimage. But, there are three things that always feature it seems... 1. 100,000,000% Optimism 2. 0% Regard for personal safety 3. I never stop smiling through the whole video lol
@@FlatDerrick I am very new lol I recently got back into Mountain Biking a few weeks back at the grand old age of 39 haha! I don’t even drink fizzy drinks. But, I bought Monny today. Hahaha!
Sams skill riding weird bikes is honestly incredible, considering the fact that lewi is a really good rider on a normal bike and can’t even hold that contraption straight when he’s riding it at walking pace on flat ground shows how insane it is for Sam to get air or go down a stairset!
I can only imagine how hard it is to ride a bike with a 90deg head angle, the bars backwards, tiny wheels, a back pedal brake and so high off the ground. I genuinely think Sam is one of the best riders of all time
The handlebars aren't backwards; it's the stem that's backwards. You can tell that the handlebars aren't backwards because their back sweep is in fact back sweep. If they were backwards it would turn their back sweep into forward sweep from the perspective of the rider.
@@SamPilgrim I you were the inspiration for my channel. I started out trail riding on mtb then switched to magnet fishing. Then found some firearms fishing and restored them. Now I only restore old antique firearms. “The kinzler bros” if you see this message. Keep sending it “and I will see you in the next one”.
@@brandonkinzler3188i would suggest linking directly to your old channel from the one you're commenting with, so that it's just a click away rather than a quoted channel name in your about tab description, requiring copy, paste searching for and then finding in the search results. you should have the option to 'feature' it or however YT phrases the channel edit options these days. EDIT: yeah, Sam has Lewi as his 'featured channel' under his channels tab (and under his home tab if you scroll down enough)
Watching Lewi have a go, and then see Sam sending it like it's any old regular bike is just astonishing!!! How do you wrangle a top heavy beast like that mate?! So good! 😂
I'm a 57yo American who grew up on BBC nature/history/geography shows on PBS channel 2, pre cable tv. They still have the same people doing these shows today that I watched as a 10yo- they need young blood. The full on tv job probably would suck huevos but, I would definitely watch that sh-t. 100%. "Sam's Pilgrimage" is one of a million possible titles.
Fisheye slowmo jump with classical music was absolutely inbeddible. I hope you brought baby wipes to clean the brown off that seat after each of Lewi's runs. Pure terror
this actually had me in tears of laughter. There is not a single other person out there shredding a bed frame bike but yet here is Sam yet again releasing another banger vid.
Yeah, Lewie's got the worst brother!! As a kid, me and my cousin (two weeks apart in age) would build these crazy jumps and features in the woods behind my home and it would go down like this: "-You go first.. -No, you go first! ***Then we'd ask my kid brother to try it and he would promptly crash*** -Maybe the angle should'nt be so steep...."
Weird bikes are so much harder to ride than you would think! Sam, have you ever heard of "De Lustige Velodrome" in Belgium (Blankenberge)? Wooden oval on the beach, all super weird bikes to try to ride. You would love it!
Seamless transition from endoeing down a stair on a bedframe, touring a castle, and hardstyling the monne. I dont think I've fully realised the genius of Sam
Bed bike version 1 was absolutely mental! 🤣This looks a little more reasonable. I haven't even watched the video yet but I got this sudden idea that you could do an episode where you decorate the bed frame in LED lights and then go for a night ride around town. That is if it even survives this episode....now to find out...
Great fun Sam! Just a thought for the next dreamy trike though: if you can have someone maybe commision a tilting suspension trike conversion for you so you can lean more, that'd be mega mint 😎😎
After spending a few days in a hospital " Bed " and trying to avoid laughing just now ( only a few broken ribs from a freshly washed out regular natural trail ) Sam ,you´re amazing and bonkers :-D
Dude Lewi is one of those people who doesn't try to be funny but he's soooo Fuggin funny man. When he starts shaking on the bike like that I just LOST it. I'm at work everyone is staring at me like I'm insane. Which they all already know I am insane so....I do wheelies on my R1 everyday leaving here doing like 100mph. They all wonder how I've seen every receptionist naked too...chix dig wheelies, fast bikes, and scars. I have many of all 3.
So was Sam ready to shred or ready for bed in this video? Poor Lewi copped some punishment in that one but still his crash will be a nostalgic one in years to come. Sam definitely needs his own historical documentary series. He presents things so well. Awesome video.
Should put the rear tire behind the frame. You could drop the rear a bit to give some caster angle to the steering. Would also bring the center of mass down a touch for better control.
I genuinely love it when you throw in a wee bit of history into your video's. It's always a proper little curve ball. You absolute mental case! Bling bling me babber!!
It really speaks to the talent of Sam Pilgrim when he can fashion a bike out of scrap metal that should never be used for a bike, into a bike, then ride it on things that would be problematic for a novice rider on a top end full suspension.
Hillarious! Watching Sam riding a bike made from a bed and hearing him teaching a local history lesson! EPIC!
Hi Sam. I love ur vids and I reckon u should come to nz and come to christchurch adventure park❤
U absolute mum
What is the most eye opening is that Lewi is already an absolutely epic rider and even he cannot keep up with Sam's extraordinary skills when it comes to riding those weird contraptions. Well done to both for producing those amazing videos. What a Sunday night treat!
Poor Lewi has to try this stuff. He 100% wouldn't (And me) unless Sam was there being a fucking fearless lunatic.
Sam has reached the same point that the guys from Braille Skateboarding have. When you ride so much off the wall weird stuff that you somehow start to get good at it.
I need more history lessons from Sam Pilgrim.
Someone phone Channel 5
And crack a monny o'clock as well!
More history lessons!!!
No

Well, awesome bikes are the dream, and terrible death bikes are so amazing. So, all bikes = good.
Sams skill riding weird bikes is honestly incredible, considering the fact that lewi is a really good rider on a normal bike and can’t even hold that contraption straight when he’s riding it at walking pace on flat ground shows how insane it is for Sam to get air or go down a stairset!
The range of emotions this video took me through is off the charts. 10/10 - long live the newly created Extreme Sports & Historical Documentary genre.
I can only imagine how hard it is to ride a bike with a 90deg head angle, the bars backwards, tiny wheels, a back pedal brake and so high off the ground. I genuinely think Sam is one of the best riders of all time
isn't it 0° as there's literally no angle forwards from vertical?
@@ManWalksDogsWhen talking about degrees you generally reference it from the horizontal axis.
The handlebars aren't backwards; it's the stem that's backwards. You can tell that the handlebars aren't backwards because their back sweep is in fact back sweep. If they were backwards it would turn their back sweep into forward sweep from the perspective of the rider.
i love how louis shows us all how hard the things sam does actually are. lol
Epic! I don't think Sam ever wakes up on the wrong side of the bed. This is gonna be good 😎
No pun intended
Love your content so much. It’s literally a channel to pump people up. Al positivity dude. Send it
Glad ya like it!!

When you're a really good rider but your brother's a pro and drags you along to ride bedframes... Much love lewi!
Poor Lewi 😂😂...nearly died on that first crash🔥👌😂

Sick shreddy on the beddy! Absolutely hilarious lads💣💣
These videos make me laugh so much! Keep it up Sam and Lewis! 🤙🏼
Idk what it is but I absolutely love the history lessons that he throws in. Theyre always a wild curveball but amusingly informative.
Poor Lewi getting dragged into doing all these weird things lol
The history feature is such a nice touch each time I love thise channel

Sam has perfected the art of riding weird bikes, lewi's crash can tell us this
Sam is more skilled on all his creations than I am on my plush MTB

Awesome video.
sick the history with sam
When Sam rides better stuff on bed frame than me on my bike. 😆 PS: 7:50 I think my heart skipped a beat. 😦
Bed bike videos are the best Sam Pilgrim videos
Sam should have his own history show he is so good at it!
Louie really puts things into perspective
that looks so gnarly. props to Lewi for giving it a go
You bring joy to the world, thank you !
Sam would be the absolute best tour guide!!!! Made want to know more about ol' Eddie III.
😂😂😂😂lewi 😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉 omg the x up ride was wicked wicked Sunday upload ❤
When Lewi rides the bikes it rly shows how insane Sam is at riding these contraptions
You are crazy you never seem to disappoint much Respect my guy
Man, between the wheels and geometry of that bike I thought Sam would for sure meet his doom on those stairs
It is so ... good! You can see from the construction that it it destined to twist apart in the vertical direction.
almost 2 million subs Sam!! WHOOPWHOOP 🔥
I lmao when Lewi said "I'm just gonna" crash thankfully no injuries but hilarious 💪👍
Loving the blend of content. Feels fresh 😊
This legend always comes up with amazing videos keep up the good work king ❤❤
When you think you’ve seen it all. Then there is Mr. Pilgrim to the rescue.
This was truly epic.
Made my Sunday night keep the content coming !!! Take the Sur Ron to the Helfarm sx track !!!
Sam really is an artist. A stunt riding artist
nah thats actually crazy. Love your videos sam!
History content always makes the video better 👌
The bed ride of doom on your nose was EPIC!
Next video: "Custom Bunk Bed Bike Tandem!" Keep doing what you do 😁👍‼️
That was some bedtastic content!! 🤘
"THAT'S IMBEDDIBLE" is my new favorite line from you 😆😆😆😆
So nuts as always! Lewi almost had a clavicular gone experience riding that bedbikeframe, bedframebike?
Wow I didn’t think I would be tuning in to the natural history channel as well! 😂
That was awesome! Sam you need to do a tabletop on a table bike!
LOL Sam's no sleeper, but he's putting 'em to bed with this one 🤘🤠

Love the history sessions!
I actually watch your videos for the history lessons my favourite bit
Man you are EPIC,... Love your video's and your personality!!
Wooo history lessons are back. I'm telling you make a series like time team but biking around talking about the history
Don't feel too bad Lewi. You're the second best beddie rider in the world
