When it comes to pricing on Poshmark, I definitely aim to strike a balance that reflects both the quality of the item and its condition. Everything has only been worn 0-2 times and is practically brand new. Plus, with Poshmark taking a 20% cut of every sale, it’s important to find a fair price. While negotiation is always on the table, if I can’t achieve a price that I feel is reasonable given the item’s value, platform fees, and effort to list/ship, I opt to donate it for a potential tax deduction instead. Hi Carissa, I enjoy and take inspiration from your fashion content! As someone who exclusively shops second hand, I wanted to add that the vast majority of donated clothing end up in landfills. Of course, your time is valuable and I respect your decision to donate, but I just wanted to take a moment and further advocate for directly giving a second chance to clothing through interested buyers where possible/reasonable, from a sustainability standpoint. I’m not in the States, but I’m sure many people would love and get a lot of wear out of your pieces! Just a thought I wanted to add, cheers!
