A week ago we suddenly had to say goodbye to our family dog. It's really empty in the house now and I hate that I'll eventually get used to not having her around anymore.

I've never heard of someone fear recovering from grief and loss. Maybe that is the purest form of love. Sorry you lost your dog, mine is now 6 and sometimes tears fall from my eyes knowing that someday I will have to say goodbye.

I had to put my dog down yesterday. He had advanced liver disease and was in rapid decline. It's hard when you have no way to help a dog(friend) get better. Your page is usually the first music I listen to in the morning to start my day. I share in your sentiment. I spent yesterday trying to learn Europa by Santana.
