➡️ FLUID ART SPIN STATION: www.ericahughesart.com
Not only perfect for spinning your fluid paints but also PERFECT for manoeuvring around your painting projects!
To create a Dutch pour painting, you will need the following materials:
    1. Acrylic paint: Choose a variety of colors that you want to use in your painting. Acrylic paint is recommended for this technique as it is fluid and easy to manipulate.
    2. Pouring medium: This is a substance that helps to thin out the paint and make it more fluid. Pouring mediums such as Liquitex Pouring Medium or Floetrol can be used. It helps create cell-like patterns in your painting.
    3. Canvas or surface: Select a canvas or a surface on which you want to create your Dutch pour painting. You can also use other materials like wood, ceramic tiles, or glass for experimenting.
    4. Cups or squeeze bottles: These are used to mix and pour the paint onto your canvas. Cups can be used for mixing larger quantities of paint, while squeeze bottles make it easier to control and create different patterns.
    5. Stirring sticks or palette knives: These tools are used for mixing the paint and pouring medium together to achieve the desired consistency.
    6. Plastic sheet or table covers: Protect your working surface from paint spills by using plastic sheets or table covers.
    7. Gloves: Wear latex or vinyl gloves to protect your hands from getting stained by the paint.
    8. Water: Keep a container or glass of water nearby to clean your brushes, stir sticks, or palette knives.
    9. Varnish (optional): After your painting is completely dry, you may choose to apply a protective varnish to seal and enhance the colors of your artwork.
Remember to protect your working area and clothes with old newspapers or plastic sheets, and ensure proper ventilation while working with acrylic paints and pouring mediums.
