Visit to Paignton and Dartmouth - 8th May 2024

Visit to the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway.
I decided to go over to Dartmouth for a few hours, whilst there I had looked around the shops, quayside and watched the trains come and go before grabbing some food and returning to Kingswear Station.
I was lucky to see the latest addition to the locomotive fleet 37 703 on a test run with some empty coaches shunt around the station.
The Class 37 was given to the railway a while ago from Direct Rail Services, and is hoped to soon run alongside the railways other Class 37 D6975.

Excellent stuff...lots of memories...
just a shame they dont have the orginal signals...
and they dont do a fish and chip special
ELR here in Manchester Luckily still does...
and we have a class 50............. love the 37 here though..
