    Just a friendly heads up 2016 and later models of Challenger, including my own use the new 1234yf Freon. If you accdently charge 134a into your 1234yf system you will wreck your warranty.

      El Komander it sounds like you may need a new blend door actuator. Check out this video here at ruclips.net/video/Mmh__nAEDwg/видео.html. Hope this helps.

    Any idea why the fitting is too small? It wont click into place. Hole is too small. I habe used this thing several yimes on different makes and models. Replaced condensor and now need to recharge the freon...Tried 2 different ones...my old trusty one and a new one from wal mart that is exactly the same. Neither will fit over the metal nipple. Parts guy at o reillys never heard of dodge requiring a different fitting? And yes i am working on the low port it looks just like yours

      If you are using a R-134a the fitting it will be a tight fit. Unless you have a car new which may use the new type R-1234yf. What year is your car? Thanks for the comment.

      @@FORMULAPERFORMANCE it uses the 1234. Never even heard of a replacement for r134 til now.

      I’m having the same problem with my 2016 charger I need help 🤦🏾‍♂️

      @FORMULAPERFORMANCE  4 года назад +1

      @@PhillyGuy93 I believe Dodge changed to R1234YF refrigerant which requires a different fitting. You can try to run your vin by replacing the numbers in the link and the build sheet should state which type of refrigerant. www.ramtrucks.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=2C3CDXHG4FH874663 . Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment.

    high guy if it was heater core pipe of any kind when i didnt have heat on it wouldnt be hot. and i really cant see mounting the ac evaporator in the cars cabin. but u said u have a challenger so i wanted to know if u had this problem. its like a half inch tubing on drivers side behind console. i had dodge install a short throw shifter n i was wondering if they didnt put back insulation on that pipe. mine is a 09 yours is newer mabe they relocated that pipe. mine is black on black to n gets hot but worse that pipe gives off heat all the time. thanx for your reply n mabe u can help me

      Hot water will still go into the heater box. The controls for the HVAC will not let the heat blow into the cabin when turn off.

    HIGH GUY I HAVE AN 09 CHALLENGER IF I REACH MY HAND BEHIND THE BACK OF THE CONSOLE AROUND OR BELOW THE RADIO I HAVE A PIPE HOT ALL THE TIME,SO IN THE SUMMER IT MAKES THE INSIDE OF CAR EVEN HOTTER. CAN U TELL ME IF YOUR CAR HAS THAT. THANKS.

      The pipe behind the dash is most likely for the Heater Core or the A/C Evaporator Core.

    Dude, you have to give the system a little time to work the 134a thru it. You could easily overcharge it.

      The video is to show what to look for when charging the AC system and how we went about testing the AC pressure level. We did not add any R134. Always follow the factory repair manuals. Do repairs at own risk. Thanks for the comment.
