The course is the angle formed between the magnetic nord and the straight line followed by the center of gravity of the airplane; the heading is the angle formed between the magnetic nord and the longitudinal axis of the airplane. In case of no wind these two anlge are the same. In case of wind, mostly cross-wind, the airplane navigates with a specific heading(against the wind direction) in order to follow the course, it's called WIND TRIANGLE.
