Additionally (and maybe this is just me), it also feels like by being out of the limelight they are also kept out of a lot of PC culture as well. I'm sick to death of it and it's nice to watch something that helps you to escape from it even for a little while.
People saying this rule is convenient but it doesn't apply to everyone. It only applies to people who traffic in the Cool World, which means you have to spend time there to attain whatever benefits involve revival if one (noid) is killed by a doodle. As for Frank's attitude when he is revived, check it. By becoming a doodle, not only does he return to life, but is also granted the near-limitless power/shapeshifting/reality influencing abilities that the doodles there have. Not only that, now he gets to be with Lonette 100% instead of just 50%. Win/win in my book!
I think he already had at least a little bit of the perks beforehand considering that he hadn't aged a day since he came to Cool World. He just got the lock stock and barrel after he was killed, and then some.
You really shouldn’t feel bad. She never cared for anyone, she manipulated people to get what she wanted. Definitely deserves that ending for her to be stuck with Jack. Better than seeing her dead tbh.
Any one else curious on how frank never aged when being in cool world for almost 50 years and when he goes back he regains the injuries he got when he had the moterbike accident?

when I was a kid watching the trailer for the film I thought Frank was the villain I was so surprised when I finally saw the film it was so happy how it resolved for him
