TRIP REPORT | JetBlue Airways - A321 - San Francisco (SFO) to New York (JFK) | Business Class

- Happy Monday! A couple of weeks ago, I flew from San Francisco to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on JetBlue "Mint". In case you haven't heard of it, JetBlue "Mint" is JetBlue's competitor to the trans-con lie-flat first/business class market. An interesting fact about this flight is that this aircraft was one of the first to be built out of Airbus's new Mobile, Alabama factory! I figured that since I have already done a Mint trip report, that this one should be slower.
I am also proud to say that when this video uploads I will be in Nome, Alaska doing some photography and filmmaking of the Iditarod Dog Race, and of course shooting some trip reports along the way! Yep. It really is an unpleasant horn, can scare the living day lights out of you up front.
djlegos I agree but I’d rather that than the pilot unintentionally disconnecting the A/P with no knowledge of what he has just done. That can be fatal

I really enjoyed this report of jetBlue's Mint class. They're an excellent airline. My only minor criticism is that that FA making the safety announcements spoke so quickly and carelessly that it was difficult to understand him. He almost sounded like he didn't want to be there, but I could be completely misinterpreting his intentions and mood. Again, this was an excellent trip report and flight!

I never been fly to JetBlue Mint going to JFK airport. Anyways, nice video. My favorite part of the JetBlue Mint is the Take-Off and the Mint Lemonade cocktail without Vodka.

You took off on 1R. Last time I was there we taxied from Signature to 1R via C-Z-B-A-A1. We almost had to refuel before takeoff.

Nice video! I noticed at 23:26 you can hear the AP and AT disconnect. Did they have the cockpit door open for some reason?
@@NordoNyle A/P yes but auto throttle makes no disconnect sound. It disconnects when the flying pilot moves the levers out of the CLB detent somewhere around 20ft above the ground.
Cool I went with JetBlue first time back in 2017 to Seattle.
I have always liked to actual forks, knives and sponges when you eat. .I have always liked serving first and business class their meals with the white table cloth and the silverware.
That was cool that you had to put your camera down to open that kit and take the items out.. It is nice to give your camera hand a break sometimes. Hehehe!

Domestic US flights generally offer only minimal benefits to business class and first class, but Mint seemed to provide a bit more. Did that airplane have the "new car" smell? ;-). Having just watched a no-class alleged first class on United, this was a step up.

Sadly not yet. Not even planned yet. I am doing a Lufthansa 747-8 First Class report in the summer though so I guess that could vary change
