That’s amazing that the cuttings were still viable. I’ve used landscape cloth in the bottom of pots to keep the soil in, there’s always some in the garden shed.
I had to pause when you mentioned putting a humidity dome on the fig cuttings - it reminded me to go throw a plastic tent over some red mulberry cuttings that I took a couple days ago - the figs are not going to have any problems rooting, but the mulberries can use the extra help!
I see you dipped the cut end into wax. But when you were trimming the bottoms to plant you said you left the wax on the top to keep moisture in. So, did you wax both ends then? Thanks 🙏🏼
Great idea! But I have questions...What area do you live in that you can grow that type of fig? I live in SE Michigan and have what I believe to be a Chicago Hearty Fig. Which I was told is the only one that can survive here. Mine has a fence blocking it from the west so I don't have to over winter it. Another question...What branches do you use for cuttings...new growth, or older growth? Thank you for the video and any other info you care to share.
Sorry to hear you had an issue with your seed order. You can file a claim with paypal and I will approve the refund. I'll send you a fresh pack on the house. Cheers!
Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I'm not getting consistent notifications on replies here on RUclips. I had to scroll through several pages of comments to check back. Shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you out a fresh pack or refund. Cheers!

Could this possibly work to overwinter tomatoes? Basically storing a sucker in the fridge?

Does it matter if I store in fridge through winter wooden fig cuttings taken on August ?
The Arkansas Woodcutter sent me some. I failed horribly. I wish I'd watched this first.

How do you know it's a brown turkey?
