CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Rostov (Richard Lynch) brutally destroys homes in a suburban neighborhood.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
This red-baiting action film stars Chuck Norris as Matt Hunter, a retired CIA agent who lives in the Florida Everglades. A communist invasion of Miami brings Hunter out of retirement to fight the encroaching hordes led by everyone's favorite low-budget bad guy, Richard Lynch. The film is extremely jingoistic, presenting the evil communists staging an invasion on Christmas, demolishing a church, and attempting to blow up a school bus full of children. From the same school of thinking which produced Rambo and Red Dawn, this film at least features some convincing gore by makeup wizard Tom Savini (Friday the 13th), working on his third gig for director Joseph Zito. Zito and Savini returned with Red Scorpion.

The Cannon formula:
Have the bad guys be as evil and sadistic as you can possibly imagine for 80 minutes.
Then have the central character kill them in the most painful and violent ways for 10 minutes.
Audience goes home happy.
My kind of action film. Wish they still made them like that.

This part was filmed in Georgia I think and so many people have guns in their cars and homes I’m pretty sure they would be shooting at the bad guys pretty fast.

40 years old i remember this movie vividly as a kid haha
These bad guys were really bad at strategy. Did they target the military, the Pentagon, the US air force ? No, the blew up a few family houses ! No wonder one guy was enough to defeat them. (My only wish is that the scriptwriter was a little bit more competent than these amateur terrorists.

None of the houses look like they’re actually blowing up.
They genuinely blew the houses up. That whole neighborhood was bought by a nearby airport and all those houses were gonna be bulldoze anyway to make landing strips. The filmmakers were given permission to blow up the houses because they were getting destroyed anyway

Nope. That's some kind of custom prop launcher, not a LAW. Not sure why they used that anyway, they should have an RPG-7 or something, you can reload those.

@@user-jl8gu1pw4n They have American S&W 76 SMGs, M16s, and a Valmet which is probably supposed to be an AK. The big climactic scene where the guys are getting off the boat is a whole mishmash of stuff.
