Awesome trip and video. Have camped out in the winter at Little Round Valley 3 times over the years. Used to hike to the Tram for dinner and drinks before hiking back to my campsite. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! That's a great idea to go to the restaurant by the tram.

This one is for the books, amazing climb in the winter. I’m glad we did it! Great video, David.. capturing the whole story of the adventure.
    Tagay!

Thanks Robert, and yeah that was definitely another one for the books. It was pretty neat having the whole campground to ourselves and not even seeing anyone on our trail on Sunday. Tagay!

Great video. I snow shoe up there every winter, backpack every summer, and been thinking about a winter ascent & overnighter. I think I would use a 4 season tent and white gas with those temps you guys encountered, which weren’t bad, and definitely carry my MSR Lightning Ascent snow shoes. You guys took the tough Marion Trail climb, which is a really impressive gain at any time of year. Fun trip!

Thanks. Yeah, San Jacinto is really nice all year round. Unless snow is actually going to fall while you are camping, you don't really need a 4 season tent even in winter. Just make sure your sleeping bag and pad are rated for low temperatures. Cheers!

Haha, I made summit on the 24th, second time we’ve been on the same mountain again. We met on Baldy the weekend before Christmas! Love the videos!

Hey Alejandro! I do remember you from Mt Baldy. Congrats on making it to the summit of San J! Which trail did you take to San Jacinto on the 24th?

Awesome vid! What trail did you say was a mountaineering adventure when you were on the summit? Wind picked up at the wrong time😂

Thanks! Snow creek is the route I was talking about, but it is quite dangerous. ruclips.net/video/3UWZzNC9mHw/видео.htmlsi=JwY28ipN2QQQHaRg

Very cool trip... Are you 2 preparing for another trip? We've had lots of heavy storms lately. I haven't been able to make it out in a snowstorm. Work has been busy in rain and there's no telling if I get an emergency call. I enjoyed watching. Is it wrong of me laughing when the ice cycle hit Robert in the head? Thank you for sharing. Take care David F. 🇺🇲

Thanks Jason. If we plan another trip I will let you know about it. We almost went overnight this weekend but it was way too windy. Ha ha about the ice bomb hitting Robert in the head. Luckily it was only a small one and he was okay, but some of them were huge. Lesson learned was to bring our helmets next time.

Awesome work, doesn't look like a walk in t he park! Couple questeions... Did you guys have any trouble navigating in the snow and how much time did you guys give yourself to get to the first camp? Much appreciated~

Thanks! We used GPS a few times especially after Little Round valley camp because the tracks disappeared. It took us a total of about 7 or 8 hours to get to camp. Of course that depends on your fitness, snow conditions, etc. It's a beautiful trail! Enjoy!

Your content is impressive! But to gain organic visibility on RUclips, SEO is key. your organic rank SEO score is very low that's why your content is not ranked on youtube. Your hard work deserves recognition, and ranking your videos on YT will make that happen. Let's start by optimizing one video for free, and if it performs well, we can discuss a long-term arrangement.
