With all the garbage on RUclips it is nice to see someone doing real high quality work.
Great to see people who can observe and appreciate the bears and not feel a compulsion to kill them!
I know this exact spot! First place I ever spotted a bear in Eastern NC. I go back there every time I'm in the area.
What county?
I thank the Lord for these beautiful nwrs in eastern north carolina. Beautiful country side that God created. Saw 8 bears last week
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Amazing that you can sit in a field and watch so many bears pass through! Awesome video and some incredible photos!
Very nice to have in you shooting/ documenting these beautiful bears with a video camera, not with a gun!!!! Thanks.

Great video! Good size bears, I wish I was there with my camera
Cheers this is a great place that I would always visit, has hugely inspired my obsession with nature. Tundra swans here too

Pretty cool man.
We don't get anything near as exciting as bears here in Wales! They certainly look like very, very well fed bears. An excellent video with some great images.
The world weight record is from that region and weighs 929 pounds

Great video!! I just moved to the Pinehurst area of NC from Arizona. I’ve been meaning to check out the Pocosin. Can you tell me how far you had to hike in to see them? Thanks
No hiking necessary. Stick to the fields and roads.
Wouldn't be funny if a bear set up a 4k camera on a tripod right behind Neil.
Great video! Are they active around this time?
Great work! I am trying to get into bear photography myself. I have been searching for bear in the Great Dismal Swamp of VA and I have a few questions;
What part of NC do you record in?
Also when do you notice the bears are most active?
Do you have any experience with swamp bears?
Thank you,
Carlin @neiljernigan
That one old bear looked blind in it's right eye
Hey Neil, do you ever film in the Plymouth area in Washington county?
Yep eastern NC is where I photograph mainly!
Is this the Alligator River Wildlife Preserve or in the Pocosin?
This particular day was in the Pocosin Lakes
