This is my absolute favorite performance of Cynthia’s because it’s pure, it’s organic and she DID that. To have THE Julie Andrews give you that approval is TOP TIER. I don’t know if it’s like normal tributes where the honoree gets to pick who they want but how could would that be- if Julie CHOSE her to sing 🤗🤗🤗
This was just incredible! I had seen this performance before and marveled at the clarity, beauty and control in Cynthia Erivo's voice. She really is a phenomenal artist and I can't think of anyone else who would be up to the task of singing this song in front of Julie Andrews! Cynthia honored her with that performance and I know Julie Andrews knows impeccable singing when she hears it! Thank you for your amazing analysis Jaron. It is such a pleasure to watch your educated analysis which is so detailed, passionate and inspriing. You yourself have an incredible voice so that is part of the treat of watching your channel. Take care of yourself and keep the amazing content coming!
As always, you do a beautiful analysis of Cynthia. She is so immensely gifted, and has an ability to touch my heart so deeply. God, I hope she tours after the release of Wicked: Do Good. What I would give to see her live in concert!!
I love Cynthia Erivo! You should check out some of her covers-especially I Who Have Nothing and Ain't No Way-performed at the Royal Albert Hall. Also, you should check out Letter - Live Clip by an artist named Jimin! He’s a singer-songwriter from Korea with one of the most unique tones I’ve ever heard in a male singer!
I love hearing her sing, and wish I had a voice teacher like you close to where I live. Your love of music, and vocal technique makes me feel that it would help many grow.
Her voice is so beautiful - and you're insanely talented too. You've made me appreciate the craft and uniqueness each artist brings to their songs in terms of technicality.
Her voice blended so well with the orchestra. Especially on the last note. It was so smooth and heavenly. I almost was like a lullaby. She sang it so soft and silky. Not extra notes or any extensive runs. Just pure effortless beauty. It's definitely my top 3 too. I can listen to that last note every single day. Is also they way she says "Edelweiss" it is light the first time she says it in the phrase, but then the second time its lower and has a more huskier quality. I could listen to this type of music sung by Cynthia and this Orchestra, for hours. I actually like this one more than Alfie. And Alfie is EVERYTHING. Also "can you feel the love" at the Tonys by her needs to be reviewed as well.
I love how talented you are. I cant sing but everytime I watch you I have to repent for being jealous... of the true talented ppl in life like Singers. 😂😂😂😂
This is a beautiful performance one of the first of hers I’ve watched. Of you don’t mind me asking, could you please do an analysis on: Dionne Warwick: I didn’t mean to love you 1976 Cher: all in love is fair Thank you for your content!
Problem is…Ms. Erivo just slayed this too: ruclips.net/video/O1jz7xw9OyQ/видео.htmlsi=Sa6AfuMRp4grMKAC It’s a masterclass on how to work with reverb and delay
No- you’re completely wrong. The original video is about her voice. This video IS ALL ABOUT his dissection of the technical aspects of her performance.
