そして将来このSAOピアノアレンジリストがもっと追加されるかもしれないです (´・ω・`) The opinions might be divided for SAO as an Anime but we can at least all agree it has fantastic OP and ED songs (and a gorgeous Soundtrack). Agree, Well LiSA is number one from me and most soundtracks of SAO is from LiSA. But I think SAO is good too at least season 1 and also the gungale arc it's both thrilling
People who hate SAO or those who still love SAO, we all can at least gather here and appreciate the song. Like it or not this song is such a nice thing everyone can relate to, because both sides of SAO which basically splits the anime community to be honest, can agree with the nostalgia this brings everyone.
Tell that to many of the youtube comments that seems to live off to degrading SAO and insulting those who like it... like come on, we have our own opinions.
It’s true, personally I think SAO was a good idea but ended out really bad, but this song brings the nostalgia back so much! I honestly could sing the lyrics by heart because of how well I know this song..
I've watched a lot of Animenz' compositions. Maybe too many, but not once have I commented on a video. So that would make this my first time commenting on his video. Every piece that Animenz' makes just keep getting better and better. I mean, it has always been good but seeing his progression just makes me put a smile on my face. I've understood his purpose in making is sheets, and it's not just for views, I realized that he didn't care about a big audience, and that he was fine with his core viewers. And, knowing that I've come this far with his pieces, I'm proud to be one of those loyal to his videos. And of course, once again, Animenz, you have yet to disappoint me with this composition. I'd like to thank you for inspiring me to try and play the piano. One of my goals is to strive hard in order to reach your level of playing. Pardon me for not knowing a lot of musical terms, I cannot really criticize on this piece. But just from hearing it, I can say, right from the heart, that this piece is indeed spectacular. Crossing Field was the first anime song I heard, and hold a special meaning for me. Hearing this arrangement really makes me feel happy, since this impactful song finally got a solid arrangement! Thanks for covering this! When I first heard your version in your lives I’ve been waiting for the official arrangement, and it’s finally here! 👏
As I clicked on this notification, I felt the gap close between us ... Through the Crossing Field, we were brought here to listen to music. A man appeared before us, with a piano in hand. He told us we had to clear his song to beat the game. Once we finish all the notes and complete the video, we can log out and clear the recital world. But I don't ever want to leave now 😭 the arrangement is so beautiful I couldn't leave if I wanted. Take my like and infinite replay button.
You know, I’ve learned a few of your covers like Kizuna Music and Zen Zen Zense. With each one i learn I’d like to say I become a better musician. I’m currently learning your version of History Maker and that’s already teaching me so much stuff. So when this drops, i said to myself “oh cool, I love Crossing Fields, I wonder how it is” as I would maybe want to learn it. But at 2:06, I don’t even know what’s happening with your left hand. I don’t know how you’re doing those that fast, but dude, you’re amazing. This whole cover is on a whole other level in terms of technicality and it’s amazing. Really making it hard on us players who can’t play tenths, but it’s cool, I’ll just Gliss it, no big deal. Keep up the amazing work and I’m so glad you’re uploading more frequently Edit: oh and also thank you for helping me grow as a musician. I remember when I first started playing piano, being the naive kid I was, I tried to learn your newly released No Game No Life cover. I got through the opening section which was like 30 seconds, and quit. Even with that, I fell in love with playing the piano because of all of the cool covers you did. So I took some lessons, and years later I’m now here, still watching you and still being amazed by your covers. And like I said, I’m even able to play some of your pieces now which I thought would never be possible. So thank you, for allowing me to fall in love with playing the piano and for your covers which teach me so much Didn’t realize this comment got so long, sorry
This man is mad, the way he plays and captures not only the song's essence but his own's is just mind blowing, congratulations man!! and keep up the great work!
increibleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee capturaste completamente la esencia de la canción y me llegó al corazón, muchas gracias por este cover, le hiciste honor a todo
our Animenz keeps slashing through iconic pieces week after week as the overpowered main character of this anime music world. and we're just the Kleins hopping along for the ride. This is the kind of good stuff i wanna inject into my veins* (pls no disinfectant) Arrangement thoughts: Man, this one had me feeling a certain kind of way. There was a certain energy that i hadn't felt in a while that resonated through the fast tempo and rolling scale runs the entire piece. I loved the overarching second melody that rang like bell tones over the first chorus. The insanely fast left hand in the second chorus (2:04) gave me instant chills (for real). The second half of the final chorus (3:37) had one of my favorite patterns - both to listen to and play - descending arpeggios in through the melody line. One thing that I always enjoy hearing is the use of triplet rhythms in the main melody line, especially if it's a change-up from the original rhythm (e.g. 3:44). Lastly, I've gotten used to expecting a grand final chorus entrance and extravagant closing statement. This one has been my one of my favorite ones so far by far. Honestly, I don''t have much else to say this time around. This one really hit on a lot of things I love in a grand and energetic piano arrangement and I just want to sit back and enjoy it. This week has also been a long and sort of rough one for me personally - this was the perfect way to end the week and give me an uplifting mood heading into the weekend. What an art! I wish I can play like you one day. I'm trying so hard these couple of months. I've got the program online and I am getting better and better every day. I'm so happy!
HOLY CRAP THE NOSTALGIA OF THE FIRST NOTES SAO was the first anime series I ever watched, when I was 11 or 12. The amount memories this brings back is INSANE
This is stunning!!! Thank you Animenz, you never fail to blow everyone away!!! On another note... OMG THE LEFT HAND 0F 2:05 IS IINSAAANE- HOW DID YOUR FIGURES NOT FALL OFF!??!?!?!!
Absolutely stunning loved reliving something I watched when I was younger and going through it all over again, now I'm gonna go watch the anime from S1
Honestly, reading Animenz's description while listening to the arrangement is such a thought-provoking experience imo. Really love the self-reflection and the dynamic styles!
Animenz, I don't know if you'll ever see this, but it's just something I wanted to get off my chest. I have been following your channel for almost 7 years now. Back in middle school, I used to fantasize all the time about learning one of your pieces perfectly and playing it in front of the school and how awesome I'd look. And when I'd grown to hate piano because of all the times I was forced to play the same piece over and over, practicing playing your cover of oath sign (the only piece I could even attempt) after school is why I never gave up piano. Unravel, Everyday World. the Nagi no Asukara medley - so many of your covers I believe completely transcended the title of "anime cover" and are just full blown works of art. I'm writing all this because while I'm ecstatic that you've started posting again so regularly, since the tanjiro no uta, I feel like your covers have lost some of the ambition that I admired so much in the past. I really don't know how to describe it, and that frustrates me. I've really hesitated to write this for a bit because I know how much you strive for perfection and how frustrated you get when you feel like you're off from it. But I think that you striving for your ideal of perfection is what makes you Animenz. Either way, I'll always be waiting to watch your next video - I just want you know that I don't care whether that's next week or next year.
You'll most probably be something big, Einstein hated doing violin practices because he had to play the same thing over and over again, he soon became a violin god.
One of your most technically advanced arrangements since a while and, not gonna lie, probably my favorite with the Mahoutsukai no Yume OP and Violet Evergarden ED arrangements. Aside from their overall balance and harmonic accuracy, I always enjoyed the impressively technical aspect of most of your arrangements, so I must say I've been pretty much pleased here haha! I also wasn't expecting the variation for the 2nd chorus with that amazing LH pattern. Once again, a surprisingly great job for an arrangement written and prepared in only 1 week. Your regularity since your comeback is quite something!
It’s good to hear you all these years. I’m glad I been able to listen to your music as I grow. It’s always been amazing to hear you play, and I can’t help but only want to work harder at life when I listen to your covers. Thanks for all the hard work~ it’s a bright light that inspires many
This is one of the best things i've ever heard, been watching your piano videos since around 2014 I believe (when I was in highschool) Glad to see you're back!! I'm not sure if you take requests or anything like that but I'd love to see you perform: Vinland Saga OP 1 and My Hero Academia last ending!
@@flurriemcpie6124 definitely. Coming from an actual SAO fan, the 2nd season is what made people hate the anime. Other than that, it's actually pretty good especially Alicization
SAO was my first ever anime and I'm so thankful for that. It introduced me to anime back in 2016 and it is one of the shows I enjoyed the most to this day.
I remember listening to you in middle school and waiting on crossing fields now I’m heading in my senior year honestly didn’t mind it came out late because all your other songs were amazing
once again, a very nice and iconic piece. The sound was surprisingly clear in this one and the individual voices could be heared out differently. This just sounds like the original OP 1 to 1 on a piano, it's very well made. respect. Animenz, I you have so much great talent and a huge fanbase that I think it's a shame that you have no: -official discord server (where you could talk to fans, a txt channel for new video releases, where people can exchange anime-memes, talk, play piano maybe) -a pateron where people can financially support you -a website where one can buy merch (I'm especially interested in buying your sheet book volumes) -a twitch or other live stream platform (to play piece requests by chat, maybe lecture some music theory, and just generally have fun & chill)
@@alexlu07 So true. He was a beta tester so they thought, "Lets make him 5 times stronger then anyone and then give him a skill for dumb reasons, then for a love interest lets give him a girl that for some reason or another is just as strong as him and lets do all this without him having grinded a single bit". Well at least since they skipped floors we don't necessarily know if he trained or not.
My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
The only acceptable thing from SAO were some of the openings (hail LiSA) and the OST arranged by the same woman responsible for great soundtracks in general: - Hack sign - Kimetsu no Yaiba - Fate Zero - Kara no Kyokai - Madoka Magica
SAO was the first anime I watched, I loved it. When I finished season 1, this song made me cry so many times... I was happy they made new seasons for it but I don’t consider SAO a good anime. Looking back at it and having watched many more animes. Only season one left a place in my heart.
Dang, melody. Summer of 2012. The time i listen to your youtube vids religiously. Been a while since i was here brother. That little busters haruka kanata one was still amazing after all these years. Keep on playing, have a nice day!
no matter how trashy the plot of sao is, this opening will forever be one of my faves and i don’t think i can truly ever hate sao in general because it was one of the shows, besides death note + aot + maid sama, that really got me into anime 🙈🙉✨
So I started playing the piano about 6 months ago and I was thinking about quitting and, well, I found my motivation not to quit. Keep playing Animenz!
Thanks for playing this song. Really agreed with you saying it is iconic and hearing about what you thought about the anime. I loved it all, your playing and your self-recollection.

Crossing field is by far one of the best openings i ever heard. This was beautiful thank u
Keep up the amazing work and I’m so glad you’re uploading more frequently
Edit: oh and also thank you for helping me grow as a musician. So thank you, for allowing me to fall in love with playing the piano and for your covers which teach me so much
Didn’t realize this comment got so long, sorry
Those first 3 notes took me back to junior high in an instant. Crazy. Amazing cover as usual, Animenz ❤️
I can see Animenz using many tenths here.
Exactly.
We will get all the tenths in the world
Prepare yourself, for yet another godly and impossible piece of music
Yup, he loves a tenth so much
As always,
which make me difficult to play his arrangement. QAQ
I can barely do a tenth T.T
This man is mad, the way he plays and captures not only the song's essence but his own's is just mind blowing, congratulations man!! and keep up the great work!
increibleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee capturaste completamente la esencia de la canción y me llegó al corazón, muchas gracias por este cover, le hiciste honor a todo
Lo que hace este chico es talento a su máximo esplendor
our Animenz keeps slashing through iconic pieces week after week as the overpowered main character of this anime music world. and we're just the Kleins hopping along for the ride.
This is the kind of good stuff i wanna inject into my veins* (pls no disinfectant)
Arrangement thoughts:
Man, this one had me feeling a certain kind of way.
Thank you for sharing! :)

What an art! I wish I can play like you one day. I'm trying so hard these couple of months. I've got the program online and I am getting better and better every day. I'm so happy!
Can you share which one is it?

HOLY CRAP THE NOSTALGIA OF THE FIRST NOTES
SAO was the first anime series I ever watched, when I was 11 or 12. The amount memories this brings back is INSANE
SAO was the first anime I watched. I haven’t thought about it in a while.
Same
same
I watched it with my sister when i was 8, after that I've been hooked to anime..... my MAL account is Haowi :)
VellaEW dude I watched it when I was like with my brother, I’m 17 now 😩
Its really maximizing the all out of a piano. How far u can go to model a band performance using just 1 instrument.
Its amazing performance indeed
Love the variations and techniques used! Felt like a high-level Kirito playing the piano. Nice one man :D
The one who can surpass Animenz is always you. Both of your version of Crossing Field are nice
Excellent. I’ve been trying to learn this on guitar but knew this would sound gorgeous on the piano.
I’m crying for how much I loved this, you are on another level, great!!❤️❤️
Ich liebe dich man!
Wegen dir habe ich vor 3 Jahren mit dem Pianospielen angefangen.
Einfach beste Entscheidung gewesen, danke dir!!
3:10 you capture the emotions perfectly from here and out. The rollercoaster that is SAO
It’s good to hear you all these years. I’m glad I been able to listen to your music as I grow. It’s always been amazing to hear you play, and I can’t help but only want to work harder at life when I listen to your covers. Thanks for all the hard work~ it’s a bright light that inspires many
Thank you for description notes and your opinion about different anime series, I really enjoy those. You're really a virtuoso of piano. Keep it up!
My god. all i see on this piece are flashbacks 7 - 8 years ago. Thank you SAO and Animenz for this piece!
im listening to this non stop, its just like when i first heared crossing field :) 3:37 my favourite part
You are the best number one piano anime song cover !!
This is one of the best things i've ever heard, been watching your piano videos since around 2014 I believe (when I was in highschool)
Glad to see you're back!! I'm not sure if you take requests or anything like that but I'd love to see you perform:
Vinland Saga OP 1 and My Hero Academia last ending!
Finally the video quality the content deserves.
I honestly don't know why SAO gets so much hate, it will always be a classic.
*Kirito: aSuNaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!*
Oh..
I don't get it??

First arc was alright. After the first arc the series started to be a cringy, boring, harem anime. But hey, atleast alicization isn't that bad tbh :3
@@flurriemcpie6124 definitely. Coming from an actual SAO fan, the 2nd season is what made people hate the anime. Other than that, it's actually pretty good especially Alicization
Not many people like Fairy Dance arc because of the adaptation, and honestly that's just sad
SAO was my first ever anime and I'm so thankful for that. It introduced me to anime back in 2016 and it is one of the shows I enjoyed the most to this day.
Takes me back from 2011-12 in 6th grade listening to this OP every day when this anime came out. Piano covers to vocal covers.
i love how u perfectly timed the release of this EPIC piano cover with the release of alicization part 2
2:55 best part of the whole song
2:53
I remember listening to you in middle school and waiting on crossing fields now I’m heading in my senior year honestly didn’t mind it came out late because all your other songs were amazing
やっぱりanimenzさんのピアノはいいなぁ...
once again, a very nice and iconic piece. The sound was surprisingly clear in this one and the individual voices could be heared out differently. This just sounds like the original OP 1 to 1 on a piano, it's very well made. respect. Animenz, I you have so much great talent and a huge fanbase that I think it's a shame that you have no:
-official discord server (where you could talk to fans, a txt channel for new video releases, where people can exchange anime-memes, talk, play piano maybe)
-a pateron where people can financially support you
-a website where one can buy merch (I'm especially interested in buying your sheet book volumes)
-a twitch or other live stream platform (to play piece requests by chat, maybe lecture some music theory, and just generally have fun & chill)
待っていたぞ!
Those new arrangements sound so slick and clean I don't know how much wizardry you did :D
Sao will always hold a place in my heart
You can't tell me that he makes anything else than playing this Song!
To have executed this piece you must have trained as much as Kirito in SAO
kirito didn't train. he just somehow had like the best luck, swords, team, and a secret duel wielding ability. its hax not skill
^ just a friendly juxtaposition =]
SAUCE
he did grind the levels tho?
I think Animenz is a great person born to give us comfort and enjoyment!

yoshakage kira much
My name is Yoshikage Kira. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
wowww hearing this in 2020 really takes me back to 2013 when I watch SAO for the first time!! HOW NOSTALGIC HEARING THIS NOW HUHU I MISS SAO SEASON 1
0:49 to 0:60 really hits different
While listening to yours arragments I feel VERY HAPPY! As if lcolors and and lights become to shine brighter
Animenz-sama!! Please make a cover of Domestic na Kanojo's op "kawaki wo ameku"

It will be awesome.
I hope so

I know SAO isn't the greatest Isekai out there, kinda poopoo, but DAMN...
*Soundtrack is FIRE*
Evan Schwartzentruber so True
Don't talk bad on my isekai 😡
The only acceptable thing from SAO were some of the openings (hail LiSA) and the OST arranged by the same woman responsible for great soundtracks in general:
- Hack sign
- Kimetsu no Yaiba
- Fate Zero
- Kara no Kyokai
- Madoka Magica
@@danielleiva3628 kirigeo bonds buddy, a treasure
But SAO is not an isekai genre.. its shounen, action, romance if i wasnt wrong
You made my day better once more ,thank you @animenz
Why do I always feel like crying whenever I listen to you playing the piano?
I dunno about you, but I cry because I like his arrangements so much and my mediocre piano skills will not do justice to it so... 🙃
There aren’t many channels that can prompt me to leave a like before the video is even uploaded. Can’t wait for this one

YOU MAKE MAGIC WITH THE PIANO
no matter how trashy the plot of sao is, this opening will forever be one of my faves and i don’t think i can truly ever hate sao in general because it was one of the shows, besides death note + aot + maid sama, that really got me into anime 🙈🙉✨
The beginning of SAO was great IMO, the later parts were a waste though, sadly.
