Bro why not ciaz zeta and alpha except ground clearance and 6 airbags it is really worthy product. I have brought that after test driving all the vehicles you said this is the one which gave me comfortable ride after city city and all these xuv named crossover are costing more than 15l if we want cruise control variant but ciaz zeta i brought it for 13 l

I have elevate v varient, Elevate 4th gear la 60kmph to 70 kmph la and above 80kmph na 5th gear la poi paarunga and every time 2500rpm la gear shift pannanum. City milage 14.5kmpl and highway 17.5kmpl even in sometimes highway la 18 to 20 varaikkum milage tharudhu

I own a honda elevate ... good in every aspect .. only down side is mileage .. city 12 ...high way 15 to 16
Bro as for city mileage any 1.5 will turn 11-12 in city than , and if it's powerfull enough you can expect that mileage ,
I have elevate too heavy traffic la I get sometimes 9.8 too , highways 100 - 120 na I get 16

In this price range, Astor Select is really a great car! Its the best as a family car
Driving Astor since 6 months, apart from minor issues, I havent faced any big problems! It's really a good car

Am a elevate owner ,
The 1.5 in the elevate is tuned for mileage and its not in the same tune as in city,
But a elevate will do 60kmph at 6th gear effortlessly which a 3xo cant do
For mileage i won't say its less, if you want performance, definitely mileage will take a hit
But i get 9-12 in city depending on traffic and as for highways for that 121hp emgine , at 100 - 120 , i would say 15 - 16 is a great mileage
Why elevate is a value for money car?
Its because it handles well , on par with the vw cousins, a reliable 4 cylinder engine, and segment leading suspension and ground clearance.
So if you want a long reliable car , at 15 lakhs , elevate is better than 3xo ax5 turbo

and even its most valuable product even if you buy its base model.

Bought Tata Nexon ~13.4 lakhs..... Surprise it didnt come in the list... Happy with more than 1 year of ownership with ~13k mileage. Should have been atleast number 3 or 2 spot.

Astor is best in this segment💯. MG promoting it is like cross over. But it looks like Mid size SUV. Base variant is VFM and we can modify with needed features. Please post a detailed review of MG astor sprint varient.

I will suggest not to go with IMT gear box. Its has more flaws and even Hyndai Venue discontinued the IMT gear box. Go with DCT if you really looking for Automatic gear box

I need your assistance in choosing a car.
I'm little confused, which type of car should i prefer is it Sedan or Sub 4 meter Compact SUV!!
Sedan, i preferred for it's aerodynamics and Compact SUV for it's looks and current trend.
I found Honda Amaze is a good deal for me but the features were totally outdated. Is there any facelift is in pipeline ?
In Sub compact SUV, i chosen 3XO AX5 petrol(Manual, 1.2 liter engine) and Sonet HTK+ petrol(IMT, 1 liter engine).
From these two, power wise its 3XO and comfort, premium and elegant wise its Sonet.
Suggest me which one to go for ? And i prefer mileage too.

MG astor la engine matum reliable a change panita they will b the master conquering the mid size SUV ... Loaded features and heavy build cars.... Mileage and underpower is the issue.... Hope the new facelift has engine changes too apart from aesthetics.....
Plus they are a Chinese brand which will go against them.

as you can see TATA imports more parts from Overseas than MG, even MG has collaborated with many Indian startups and companies to increase their brand presence in the Indian market, Even they Offer locally made speakers that sound much better than other premium brands speakers in the car, only Top variants of MG cars get Infinity speakers, so that's how they have changed very grounded approach in India and sounds very Indian!

The selection looks biased towards crossovers. If value for money is the criteria, all the segments should have been taken into consideration as a package. In this case, I feel only Manual Transmission cars are being focused & Automatic transmission cars under the same price range could have been included as well. With regards to cars, Honda City, Maruti Ciaz are missed out in the list.
Apart from discussing new cars under the price bracket, this could have been made more interesting by considering & discussing used - less driven - well maintained reliable cars under the same price range such as :
Honda City 4th Gen M/CVT
Honda Civic M/CVT
Honda Jazz CVT
Hyundai Verna 1.6 Diesel
Maruti Scross 1.3/1.6 D or 1.5P
Nissan Kicks
Honda Crv 2WD/4WD
Toyota Innova
Nissan Teana V6 CVT
Jeep Compass
This is their opinion and all these cars are suvs, plus they gave given special mention too, the cars mentioned here are value for money cars, we can say these are perfect all rounders.

Hi brother, I am planning to buy a venue through CSD. For my father category, Venue S(O) 1.2 Petrol , Venue 1.0 S(O) Turbo MT & IMT Peteol available. For family usage, instaed of Automatic, shall we buy IMT? Because DCT is not available for the category. Please give your opinion, whether IMT will be reliable.
I have checked Mahindra, and they told MX2 AT , but it will take 6 months to come in the CSD portal.
Imt will just be as reliable as an manual
