- Kahit mahirap sa kanya na mawalay sa pamilya, napilitang mamasukan bilang yaya sa Barcelona, Spain si Chona (LJ Reyes) para mabigyan sila ng maginhawang buhay. Sa kabila ng kanyang pagiging kasambahay, ipinaglalaban din ni Chona ang karapatan ng mga kababayan niyang OFW na walang abogado, isang propesyong pinapangarap niyang makamit. Dahil naging malapit na rin ang loob sa kanya ng amo niyang si Vivien (Jackie Lou Blanco), tinutulungan siya nitong makapagpadala sa pamilya at kalunan ay tinulungan din siyang makapag-aral bago maging isang ganap na abogada.
Just to give her family a better life, Chona (LJ Reyes) willingly decided to work abroad as a domestic helper in Barcelona, Spain. Despite this, all of her hardships soon paid off as her Spanish boss, Vivien (Jackie Lou Blanco), offered her help to send her to school until she became a public attorney to all Filipinos who are having troubles with Immigration. #TadhanaYayaAbogada

Very touching story. Similar with my story before I became a lawyer here in Canada. I used to be a cigarette vendor in the Philippines, and also I was a balut and newspaper vendor, luckily I migrated to Canada and continue to pursue my dream. It was very difficult, but I did not give up.

Very impressive, I love hearing stories like this. It inspire other people to work harder and become a better version of them. As I always say, dreams without action is just a wishful thinking. I was born poor myself but but with perseverance, hard work and faith, I now own several businesses here in Las Vegas. I am not wealthy but I have enough for my family to live comfortably and help other people as well. God is good to those who has the will to succeed. I also believe that meeting other people is not just a coincidence. Each person that we come across in our lifetime has a purpose. Barcelona is a beautiful place, my family and I were there 3 years ago. Continue to inspire and help people, especially those who are not able to help themselves. God bless Chona and family and God bless the people that helped you to make it all possible.

Hindi lang pala isa ang dialect sa spain.That makes even harder.She controlled her emotion even when her coworker didn't like her and torn between going back home or staying for her future.Kung hindi dahil sa determination niya sinong tutulong sa other OFW.
When in a foreign land, it is accepted that many trials will come. From discrimination, oppression, unfair treatment and many others. But for Filipinos, resilient as they are, they fight and conquer oddities in life. That is what makes Filipinos a true Filipino. For wherever we are now it is because of who we are. Mabuhay tayong mga Pinoy!
Because in the foreign land they listen to the truth and enforce the word of the law . Its hard to twist and threaten a person although of course there’s an exception!

Nakikita ko po sarili ko sayo atty. Nakapasa Sa exam para mag take NG medicine dito, una gusto ko NG sumuko dahil diko masyado naiintindihan Ang lecture namin dahil German Ang mga lecture. Mahirap, subalit nagpursige ako iniisip ko mga hirap ko mga pinag daanan Sa buhay nong nasa Pinas ako. Nagasakit ako NG breast cancer dahil Sa stress. Nag aaral tapos nagtatrabaho. During my therapy napasok parin ako paminsan Minsan Sa school para makapag take NG exams. Lahat sinabihan ako mga friends, family, saka Pati school I should quit schooling baka mamatay ako Sa stress at therapy di Kayanin NG katawan ko. But I survive nakapasa ako Sa board exam. Successful, but still in medication, for breast cancer. But still I'm working now with my profession. Not full time because of health condition. But I'm very happy and thankful God for my success.
