I’ve been managing the same property in sc for 24 years good luck on getting a 1 to 1 ratio. Mine is 3 to 1 and I see all the bucks I need.

Me personally, I only shoot wall mounts, but my buddies and other family members, do the doe patrol for me, and they will slowly stop that, the closer we get to late season... We have been doing "doe patrol" every other year, and it seems to be doing ok

“MANAGING” your does is good but it is not a bad thing at all to have a ton of does simple as the more does you have the more bucks you have.
