This is Angus' 2001 Mazda NB Miata MX5 with the Lightyear Fastback Roof. What a treat to be able to see this car in person, it has been done so nicely and cleanly. This is just the VLOG version of the video, the actual videoshoot that we did will be edited and uploaded soon. Thought it would be good to just have a walkaround video of the car. Angus came down from Brisbane for World Time Attack Challenge WTAC 2017 so definitely expect some coverage of that as well soon.

im trying to sell my 2002 corolla le automatic 160k miles for basically any manual miata that has not been in a wreck so i can put one of these fastbacks on it. looks so beautiful and makes me wonder why they didnt just design the car like that from the factory

The fastback roof definitely looks good on this NB, and it's nice that the owner has focused on the chassis and suspension mods before starting on the power mods. It seems that this owner should consider some of the V6 swap options, as they would give equal or greater power than a K swap, and balance cost with reliability. Personally I would go for the Jaguar AJ 3.0 swap kit from Rocketeer.

if you're adding aero on the front you need a BGW on the back or you'll be joining that fiesta ST in the lift-off-oversteer bush
