I am totally obsessed with these two particularly Nancy Spungeon,it's easy to see why although they where both talent limited why they became the face of a movement and 70s icon's. That dark charisma, brutal but real attitude and super photogenic. Nancy is owed back royalties because she was called nauseating but hella chicks have copied her bad girl blueprint for fourty years lol .
I knew a heroin user in Chiswick in 1979 who used to score at the same place as Sid... Said he was a ''lunatic'' very into cutting himself with knives on his arms [while waiting to score].. to add to his track marks.That mid-late 1970's era was gritty and heavy in London at least..

There´s a book written by Nancy´s mother. She said that she was very violent and put into clinics, they were tossing here around with new drugs. There´s said briefly that the father used to spank the kids, and maybe she was sexually molested. Alex Cox said that too. And Sid ... I´m sure you know that her mother was a dealer in Spain in the last '60-first '70. Believe me, then a joint meant jail. It was a fascist country, no hippies, no nothing. Brutallity, torture in jail, totalitarism. Ibiza was for foreigners maybe she get away becouse of that. I agree with you, I discovered Sid, saw the movie and get hooked on the Pistols. Now I know that the movie is a darck and gritty fairy tale ... But FUCK, a great movie even if it´s fantasy.

I agree, I feel more like Sid. I´m a Taurus too, and the idea of being nice and almost a kid; but turning into fights if they are trying to fuck with me has been a constant on my life. Also I grow up around heroin, alcoholics, and all that shit.
