Back in the day (I'm 61), we didn't go to the gym, we went to the club. That's how we got our workouts. Music like this was "workout music", lol. So much fun to sweat our behinds off while enjoying ourselves.
"I Can't go for That" has the same kind of opening. The music is layered as the song progresses with instruments added slowly. There is a famous NO Jazz family. The father is a traditional jazz player and his son is a modern jazz player. The father loved Hall & Oates and turned his son on to them at an early age, then became friends with them. H & O have an album cover that is pencil or ink portraits of them. The kid has copies of that tattooed on his hands. Hall on the back of one and Oates on the back of the other. I always hid my love of their music until I saw that story. I'll see if I can find a link if anyone is interested.
This is such a great song….timeless. The Cars song “Moving in Stereo” is also a song that must be heard in headphones to truly appreciate all the subtle magic.
Hi Ace. This band was known as Hall and Oates. Next try out some ZZTop and the song Tube Snake Boogie. This is a classic that I know you’ll love. Love your reactions! Keep up the good work!
Just joined...you're awesome dude. Just like reactor 'nolifeshaq' you have great smile, positivity, laugh a lot, and just have fun with this! That what makes me watch reaction. And I wasn't trying to compare you to another reactor, but trust me, that was a HUGE compliment
Jamming with my buds.. I still crack this one off now & then in chill times on the bass.. so fun! You're going down this rabbit hole.. Check out some Huey Lewis & the News 😉
I love your reactions. 😊 Hey, Ace? When are you gonna pull out that bass & play for us?? PLLEEEEEASE! Any instruments, but especially the bass. I know you can play.
My dear! Congregations! You actually have an unblocked Hall and Oates video! Much of the time, their videos are blocked! You must be really special! Lol !!!

The fact they play this and other 80's songs in public places today tells you how good the songs were and still are.

You have just dipped into one of the deepest catalog and the best musicians ever.
FACTS!!
My mom was in her 80's and she would sing along to this.
Fantastic song, probably my favorite by Hall and Oats. So many great tunes from them. Rabbit hole certified.
Hall & Oats were generally considered a Pop Duo. More specifically, their music was Blue Eyed Soul.
I worked for these fine gentleman for a long time. They and their band members were/are top tier talent. The live shows were incredible. ❤
Great Reaction to an epic Duo of the 80's pop.
One of my faves and you know there’s some songs that you know it just gives you a certain feeling. This is one of them.
Saw them live. Good show.
A great band to dive into, great artists!
As Eurynomea said the clubs were the place to sweat it off. We would go every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights 8 pm to 2 am.
If you like this then you have to listen to I Can't Go for That. These guys are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and have a catalogue of hits.
If you dont like Hall n Oates,..its not them, its you.
They have a great catalog
Great reaction 👍🏽

Try Chris Rea, looking for the Summer
Great song.
Interesting fact:
This is not about a woman… it is about a newcomer’s reaction to New York City.
Try something different. White Snake…Here I Go Again.
