- Does it Van Halen? Does it do anything else? we find out if the UAD Lion 68 is as good as a Marshall. I use my Franky, 2014 Les Paul, and 75th Anniversary Strat direct into an UAD Apollo all while chasing the brown sound. (special thanks to the phase 90 and some echo)

It does sound good using the 4-cable method. But I’d love to try it through the Fender FR-12 too. For those who don’t want to just run it through monitors.

I woukd use the brown sohnd most of the time. Im not a big brown sound guy, but I olay mostly bluesy rock, hard rock and itnwoukd benperfect for mt style..❤
That’s gonna depend HUGE on your playback system I think, if you ran this pedal into great studio monitors + a sub you can dial in huge feel. But just monitors themselves, it’s just like playing through studio monitors still ya know? That said I love this pedal and would get one for sure

Man, that pedal and a boost and mayne a micro pitch delay and I could gig with it going direct I think. I wish they had put a headphone jack on it. Wyat eere they thinking. 😂❤..

This is random, but why does youtube suck now? Since rolling out their "pay for real HD" policy every other video looks like it's playing 240p on a super nintendo. If they start skimping on audio bitrate to save .00000001 cents on bandwidth too, we might be screwed as guitar players from knowing what shit sounds like. Sorry for the rant.

if i wann connect the pedal directly to my speaker i need an additional poweramp in between right?
If you have a passive speaker yes. You could plug this directly into a powered speaker though
Can you just plug direct from the output into the input of your interface? Is that the idea?
Exactly, that’s how you’re hearing it in this video. You can go into a guitar amp to obvious but I like the direct sound best
I wonder what would be your opinion with the IR-x. And do you think this will compliment well with my hx stomp?
Haven’t tried either of those yet! They’re more diverse for sure since something like this is just ‘Marshall marshall or Marshall” but it’s all about your workflow and what fits

Dude, these new so called MIAB's sound a bit thin. My Xotic SL drive has the big Marshall sound rockers love for a whole lot less than this box. Just sayin
Nothing “new” about a Marshall pedal (Marshall have been doing their own for decades) the new thing lately though is built in cab sims and that’s amazing. As for the “thinness” maybe check out the fender tone master pro, these modellers tend to either aim for a live sound or a studio sound and this one’s more studio voiced for sure
