This is the first Iem I ever bought (blue) and I still use it to this day I love it it's gorgeous it's just all around a superior product for me and at 250 bucks you cannot beat it
I had just bought this version, Falcon Ultra Titanium, just received it last week! 😄 Now becomes my main go to iem because its size is just so comfortable to wear (my CKLVX sounds a bit better than the Falcon Ultra though). Since the Falcon is all steel, it gets cold to wear under air-condition 😄
Dunu seems to really care about the customers who want more than just an IEM. They include a lot of useful accessories. I can't wait until the DaVinci is released! Awesome video, Andy!
Another great review Andy. Dfu is jack of all trades but master of none. Great iem but prefere more Dunu Titan s and Titan 1 'cause they have unique sound. Celtic Frost rules. Into the crypt of Rays is still my favorite.
I'm a big fan of the Falcon Ultra, but the cable is kind of a disaster. No one seems to complain about the cable even though it's the same kind of wire that came with the Sennheiser IE200 that everyone rightly dumpstered. I replaced mine with a NICEHCK cable.
I don't have any single issue about falcon ultra but I have to buy a m15 cause that pairing is just perfect imo About their tips they are great that's why I collecting one by one
Great video, thanks man. In this price range what do you recommend as the best balanced set? Something that can work better with all genres. I was looking at some iems like Letshuoer S12, Falcon ultra, Kato, and some other sets. Would love to hear your recommendation on any of the ones mentioned or something you personally recommend. Thanks again
Thanks, at this price range I personally use SIVGA Nightingale more over everything else I own (regardless of price). But then Nightingale has a very special non-trendy type of tuning which may NOT work for many people. So, instead I would highly recommend Hidizs MP145, BQEYZ Wind or If you can stretch it a bit more, the highly versatile Rose Technics QTX or Tanchjim Origin which I reviewed very recently
@donglemadness thank you very much. Would love to be able to spend more than 200 for couple of iems in my mind. However for now I'm thinking of something a bit more budget friendly. Do you think the mp145 with the s3 Pro dac from hidizs themselves would be a good combination?
Can you review the Hiby x FAudio Project Ace? Its also a single DD IEM and priced slightly above the Falcon Ultra. Both of them seems to be highly rec in chinese community for best value under 2k rmb
Hello man. I discovered your channel a few days ago. I love to hear all the knowledge you have and the way you do videos and reviews. Years ago I heard about the hi-res sound and all this word. Finally this year I was able to purchase the KZ-ZS10 Pro X and a Sharkoon Mobile DAC (was looking for a Fiio Q11 but I trade the Sharkoon for a mobile phone, money reasons). Using Tidal as player. What do you think I have to do to keep going and get a better experience? (the next step) I loved the Dac and it makes an awesome difference but feels like it is not enough for the Zs10. Cheers from Argentina. Thank you.
Thanks. I am personally not familiar with ZS10 Pro X nor Sharkoon Mobile DAC, and I have no idea what's your sound preference or what genre of music you listen to. To recommend something, it largely depends on what you like, there's so many options to choose from. Some like it highly energetic and colored, some like it neutral and transparent, some like it bright and analytical, some like it warm and smooth, so which one hits closer to your taste?
@@donglemadness I really dont know. This phone has dolby atmos so i use it to balance all in neutral looking for training my ears. Im really sensible to high frequencies. This iems are a little bit brilliant. About the music, im not straight in genres or anything. Sumo - Corpiños en la Madrugada Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota - Gulp! Los Hermanos - On Another Level Kase.O - Jazz Magnetism Chango Spasiuk - Pynandí Those are the last five albums i heard. Hope you like one at least. Musically talking, recommend to listen Nafta. I dont know if you understand spanish, but they sound good. Im knowing the difficulty to say something about my question so dont worry, this is fully try by your own and learn. Hope you the best💐🐢
@@2l8p98vj2 From the description you mentioned, then I would categorize it that you like energetic and vibrant sound, if you find ZS10 not energetic enough for your liking, then perhaps you can consider trying KZ Castor Bass version, which offer smooth treble and rich Subbass and fairly strong Midbass for Harman type lower frequencies. Or if you don't have budget restrictions, AFUL Performer 5 or Simgot EM6L, Truthear NOVA would also be highly recommended. At the very least pair them with Venture Electronics ODO, the tiny $5 dongle that does magic
Waiting for my EPZ TP50 on your recommendation. If it's rubbish, I know who to blame...(Only joking) :) Question: They say that the most of the smart phones nowadays come with some sort of DAC built in. If I connect a portable DAC(like the one mention above) via the USB, will I be running it through two DACs or is the USB output pure digital?
Anything that emit sound will always have a DAC inside, otherwise they can't process audio. If you connect an external DAC into any system, what will happen is that the external DAC will always take over audio processing and the internal DAC bypassed completely, your PC or phone now become Source Transport only
You say "big bass" and I always think of Sir Mix-a-lot and turn it into "I love big bass and I cannot lie" 🤣 And what did Tom G Warrior think of Dunu Falcon Ultra?
For as low as $5 you can get VE ODO which you can use on your PC and also has MIC support, check my review on it. Amazing tiny DAC that does big things
Hi Andy, any ultra compact dongle recommend to drive falcon? Or you suggest need to upgrade those bigger dongle like fc6 ka17? In addition, i have budget rm2000, can recommend me the iem which ultra compact dongle can fully drive? Thanks.
I personally like the pairing of Falcon Ultra with HIBY FC6 or EPZ TP50, both to me being the best to deliver the full sonic performances of this IEM. Ultra compact dongles? Just get Venture Electronics ODO and run Falcon Ultra on the thick foam nozzle, that combo alone is already great
I see a similar iem design but on the budget price side at $35, the trn conch, I'm wondering how will you rate it though, or the older budget iem that has its price drop to even lower now, kz zex pro.
