What if Joof is the Drew River that Marvel keeps talking about? What if Drew River is just a made up name to hide his identity? WE FOUND HIM BOYS!!!!!!!
It’s nice to see they care about the timeline at least a little, the whole gimmick of the MCU is the interconnectedness between installments is what makes it special to me
I agree...it's fantastic to see that they're taking the timeline very seriously. You are 100% correct that the timeline is one of the key things that makes a connected universe special!
I just really wish they'd canonize Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Out of all of the shows, that was my favorite and will always be part of my personal MCU canon
@AbitofEverything4U I also added any character that have appeared outside of the MCU projects as well as inside. So, Spider-Man No Way Home makes the other 5 Spider-Man movies and the Venom movies canon, Reed Richards, Charles Xavier, and Blackbolt appearing in MOM make their respective movies/series canon, and since Ghost Rider was in AOS which again, I consider canon and always will, makes Cages Ghost Rider movies canon, same for Deadpool. It's kind of complicated but I made my own personal multiverse timeline that adds the years and times the movies and shows take place
@@luna9astra105 season 6 time-jumped a year (into 2019) - at that point, there doesn't need to be references because the world (or at the very least, the main agents that the show follows) would have accepted the loss a year in. Also, May's line that she and Coulson had "more time than they thought" actually really works with the Blip - half the population dusted, but she and Coulson (an already dying man) survived, and he managed to live for a while after this.
I love that they show us (worried) Fans, that they care for the timeline. Especially since the continuity-mistakes like "8 years later" made it feel lile they didnt. Now they make a real effort and therefore my trust and hype in the MCU rises again.
I agree...I think those other connections served a purpose before the timeline book arrived since we had to determine Phase 4's timeline based on every connection we could find. But now those extra connections just added clutter, so I'm glad to see them go.
13:43 I’d theorized walking out the theater before anyone was talking about Wanda’s Spaghettification of Reed in MoM as a blackhole used to time travel
I really hope Drew's continuity team grows and you get to join. They need you there helping Drew out!! On the fan side you really are the best timeline resource
Oh my...now that would be so much fun to be on his team...Heck, I'd be fine with fetching the morning coffee for Drew, if it meant I got to work with him. Really happy to see Marvel taking the timeline so seriously. It's one of the main things that makes a connected universe so much fun to follow. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us next!
The only issue I’m still having is how spaced out everything after endgame is becoming. You have Loki and WandaVision after endgame in 2023, then FFH to Hawkeye (2024), then the following titles take place during different seasons of different years, rocketing it to… what, 2026-27 we’re in now with The Marvels? There’s a lot of stories, Which is great in my eyes! But they have no crossover timeline wise, which is something I wish they did more, like in Phase 1.
I agree...we really do need an Avengers type crossover soon. Granted, the writers strike really delayed things, but next year should give us two big crossover movies with Thunderbolts and CA: Brave New World. And then 2026 should give us Avengers 5. So things will really start coming together soon!
It's great that Marvel puts so much importance to the timeline nowadays, because it makes it so much easier to follow and, of course, I'll always enjoy me some Chronological watching and, as I've said this makes it a lot easier 😅
That's an interesting idea. I'm very curious to see if Spiderverse will end up tying into Secret Wars down the road. If so, that would mean the comics are connected to the MCU via the Spiderverse. Wild!
@@AbitofEverything4U well it's by company called toei who in mid 70's collaborated with toei to make a Japanese spider man which grown a meme status now. They also collaborated with toei and created 3 ( I think ) super sentai series battle fever j (which was originally supposed to be a captain America based show), denjiman and sun vulcan. Marvel wanted to bring super sentai to us but were unsuccessful later haim Saban bought it as power rangers. That's why I recommended shin kamen rider to you
Happy Easter to one of my favorite RUclipsrs! 💪🏼 also after Deadpool & Wolverine, can you do an updated how to watch the mcu with the multiverse movies?
You can criticize them for a lot of things but the continuity has always been on point in the MCU... Even if it takes watching all the spinoffs and side projects, it all connects. Whether you like the movies or not it doesn't matter, we're talking about continuity.
Agreed...I was so impressed with all these recent announcement that I wanted to compile it all in one vid as it truly shows how hard Marvel is trying to make the timeline work. Very cool!
I'm so glad that they're actually trying to keep a clear followable timeline. I've never watched AoS, but I wonder if they're ever gonna canonize it. If they do, then I've got A LOT to catch up on 😭
Yeah, it's great to see the focus on the timeline. Love that Marvel views it as very important. And I'm torn on whether I think AoS will get added or not. AoS fits really well for the first several seasons and then gets a bit tricky as things go from there, but it still would be great to see it added, especially if some of the characters return to the MCU.
Loved watching the timeline get tidied up lol, so much easier to read now. I'd love to see what the Marvel timeline keeper gets up to as well, his spreadsheet must be wild...
Yeah, cleaning up that timeline was a long time coming. I agree, much easier to read now. And you are right...the timeline keepers spreadsheet must be massive. Would be so cool to spend a day or two just looking over his shoulder as he does his job.
Deadpool 3 takes place in the same universe that The Marvels post-credits scene takes place, the reason we know this, is because Beast told Binary, "Charles asked for an update." but during X-Men 97 they say that Professor X has passed away, also we saw a coffin during the X-Men 97 Trailer, so that means they will show the funeral for Charles Xavier. This is my theory, Deadpool is recruited by the TVA & Paradox, and Deadpool's mission is to locate and capture Cassandra Nova, but while Deadpool is traveling through the Multiverse, Deadpool lands in the same universe where Monica Rambeau met Binary & Beast, the that is when we get a full extended version of The Marvels scene where Beast tells Binary, "Charles asked for an update." Then they will transition the scene to Deadpool standing in a classroom, Charles Xavier along with Wolverine, Beast, Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey & Rogue who are wearing their X-Men 97 accurate costumes, even though this is Not the X-Men 97 universe, will hand Monica Rambeau over to Deadpool who will help her return to Universe 616, but then the TVA & Paradox arrive and prune Deadpool & Wolverine who will both be sent to the Void, where Deadpool & Wolverine will fight, and then team up with Pyro and that is an X-Men who is from the same universe as Deadpool.
Excellent theories. So my guess is that Marvel is being sneaky and making us think Prof X is dead so that we don't tie together the X-men '97 show and The Marvels. But I'm betting Prof X returns by the end of the season and that we find Lilandra has found a way to heal him. But just my guess on that. Your theory could work as well!
I hadn't even considered that the X-Men universe shown in The Marvels could be the '97 universe, but you've basically convinced me with the side-by-side imagery of Beast. Now I'm hoping that we'll get to see Binary show up in X-Men '97 and really solidify it
That would be interesting, but I personally think the xmen 97 universe is only going to stay its own thing separate from the rest of the MCU multiverse.
@@iraford5788 Yeah, I'm okay either way. I'd be fine if X-Men '97 doesn't connect to anything else, as it's a fantastic series on its own. But if it does connect down the line, that's cool as well.
Timeline Wise, Im guessing the only other shows that would most likely be added would be Agent Carter and Agents of Shield. Given the agent carter one shot is already in the D+ timeline Im puzzled as to why they havent put in Agent Carter, I dont think it has anything that contradicts anything already in the sacred timeline. With agents of sheilds we know for the first couple seasons it was definitely connected and after that it was for the most part, part of the sacred timeline. But I guess until any of the core cast shows up in any future projects they most likely wont move the show in to the D+ timeline. Similar to all the netflix shows when echo came out. Do hope runaways and cloak and dagger are cannon, but i can't recall anything that ties those shows into the sacred timeline. So they probably would always just exist as their own branch or universe. And I love your idea that monica ends up in the 97' timeline. Im sure if we dont see this scene animated by the end of season 3, if binary shows up in season 2 or 3 and looks the same as The Marvels post credit scene, that will be a pretty clear answer in my opinion. Plus another neat way to tie the x-men into the sacred timeline
I agree...I'm so surprised that Agent Carter isn't in the sacred timeline. It seems like a perfect fit. AoS fits really well for the first several seasons and then gets a bit tricky as things go from there, but it still would be great to see it added, especially if some of the characters return. Let's keep our fingers crossed that more gets added in the months to come. Oh, and yeah, I love the idea of X-men '97 crossing over with The Marvels post-credit scene. That would be so, so cool!
I really wish they kept the netflix shows as its own separated universe and bring them in when the universes collide- or just have daredevil in this universe and the rest in another
I can totally understand your feelings on that. I definitely wanted Daredevil as my #1 pick, with Punisher and Jessica Jones being #2 and #3. I enjoyed Luke Cage and Iron Fist, but I'm less invested in those characters. Will be interesting to see what Marvel does with the other characters in the years to come!
The MCU can say what they want about the timeline, as it will never flow properly until the regional disparities are aligned and, we all have access to all of the MCU movie's and, all of the MCU Disney Plus steamed TV series. Yes, I know using a VPN it's easy to jump to another region in the world but, when you've paid your subscription fee you expect full access to the service you've paid for and not, 75% of the content. So, completely frustrating when it comes to the MCU time. Keep up the good work, as I always enjoy your theories and show breakdowns. 😃👍
I agree...I just don't get why things are different for each region. Honestly makes no sense at all to me. I do hope that gets fixed, perhaps with the merger of Hulu and Disney+ as I wonder if them being separate entities is part of the issue?
@@AbitofEverything4U Hello and thanks for replying. We don't get Hulu here in the UK but with Nord VPN, I can access great content from various steaming services world wide. Even so, it does not stop me complaining as, we do not have Spider-Man in the MCU timelime as it is licensed to another services provider as are many animated Marvel Heroes series. Long standing contracts before Disney Plus was the reply I received from Disney Plus existed but, at least they replied to my email. Looking forward to your next theory. Keep up the good work. 😃👍
Not only does this make me feel better about HOW Marvel is handling and communicating timeline information, this goes a long way to reassuring me that Marvel HAS a plan with their universe. I'm one of those people that looks for connections, that tries to see what the big picture is that we are being presented. When others complain about how Marvel projects are unconnected to each other and there doesn't appear to be an overall plan like there was with the Infinity Saga, I look to things like this. This reassures me that we will eventually get an Endgame style payoff to all of this, most likely in Secret Wars. I believe that Marvel is just trying to be more subtle about it and that the pace of the reveals is going to start picking up possibly as soon as Deadpool & Wolverine comes out. There is a plan!
Excellent commentary. I agree, this makes me feel so much better about things. It shows there's a plan and it gives me hope for a fantastic payoff when we get to Secret Wars!
Just imagine if at the end of The Fantastic Four the team tries to do some experiments, only to end up in The Void, then we just see Deadpool showing up
Yeah, I think the AoS multiverse jumps are definitely explainable. They are tricky to follow at first, but I do think they make sense if you break them down carefully.
Thanks...very nice of you to say that. Marvel loves dropping the bread crumbs for us to find and in return, I love trying to piece everything together!
Well, I'm just really impressed at Marvel's timeline consistency, at least for the last six years or so. (Too bad their timeline guy wasn't around to advise on Spider-man: Homecoming!) I was especially surprised to learn that they actually do guard the accuracy of the Disney+ timeline! I guess I had just assumed that they cared way more about storytelling (or profit, in the case of Disney) than timeline keeping, just based on the inconsistencies of the earlier phases, like the placements of Iron Man and Iron Man 2, and the "8 years later". Sure, individual movie production people still make mistakes, like how The Marvels appeared as if it took place right after Ms. Marvel, when it had to happen after Secret Invasion, but it's great to know that we will still have an official timeline going forward.
Well said...yeah, Marvel really did need a timeline keeper during the Infinity saga, due to things like IM 1 and IM 2 moving around in their placement multiple times and ofc the dreaded "8 years later". It's great to see Marvel has taken it very seriously and is trying to keep things straight. Timeline management is a very important component of a connected universe and thankfully Marvel seems to understand that. Makes me all the more excited for what lies ahead in the Multiverse Saga!
Hey A bit of Everything could you make a video at some point theorizing on where you think every character that doesn’t have their own movie could show up next?
Great question! So I do an annual video on the "State of Heroism" and in that vid I predict where each character will show up next. If you haven't seen my vid for the close-out of 2023, you can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/DwJvO3znfbI/видео.html. And I'll do another as 2024 closes out as well.
I'm guessing this timeline keeper probably had to look at the Defenders shows to canonize them to the sacred time more recently. Timeline book definitely helps, here's hoping we get a volume 2. Which is important concerning those Netflix shows especially if you consider Punisher's ending if I recall from one of your videos. And yeah definitely some really good clues. Either way gonna be interesting to see where Deadpool and Fantastic Four, etc will end up. I really hope Marvel animation ties into Secret Wars ... not sure how I feel about Marvel Zombies tying in though, that would be ... interesting though. That's not even including the other things you mentioned too. Also JOOF out here clipping his own branches, we've come full circle. A little funny how you even called one of them a timeline. Either way great video as usual.
You know what, you got me convinced with this one. I didn't have much faith in the Disney plus timeline until now. Seeing all of it together in one place really makes you see how much effort they're putting into it. Now I'm still not going to blindly trust it, if a show or movie comes out and gives hints that it takes place somewhere that doesn't line up with the Disney plus timeline I'm gonna be cautious, but overall they are putting a ton of work into it. And dude that Timeline Keeper job has gotta be awesome! can we lobby for them to hire some of us as a team? lol. I really love that they have a timeline/continuity executive. However I do have a complaint if by some one in a million chance he sees this. Dude get your timelines dimensions and universes straight. It's frustrating. Besides that keep dropping us hints to other stuff like the origin of the multiverse and other cool stuff and i'm absolutely down.
Too funny....I hadn't gotten to this comment yet, and I left another comment suggesting you check this vid out. Glad you liked it. I agree, I think they are trying their best and things are looking up from a timeline management standpoint. And I totally agree that they need to get dimensions, universes, timelines, realms etc all in sync. Gotta stop interchanging those terms!
@@AbitofEverything4U that and get whatever is going on with Sonys marvel under control. We found a way to make the vulture thing work but they really need to pay better attention
I feel like and I'm hoping that Marvel is going into a correcting phase with what's coming up. Cancelling show, keeping release dates far in between and getting rid of the "MCU fatigue" even though we need more. Deadpool is giving hope but it seems like it might switch things up more into the weird direction
I agree...Marvel is definitely in a correcting phase...but I think it will lead to even better content in the months and years to come. It's allowed Feige to catch his breath and to make sure that the stuff coming down the line will be at the quality level we've come to expect. Good things coming on the horizon!
Happy Easter, A bit of Everything! I'm not sure if you celebrate or not, but regardless hope you treat yourself to some candy or some fun! I'll be enjoying this vid while working my way through more Resse's Cups than one man should ever eat lol 🤣🤣
Just touching on the Marvels post-credits, I personally don’t think it was meant for X-Men ‘97. I think the casting of Kelsey Grammer, combined with the use of the music score from the Fox movies was intentional. It may not be the exact same universe as the Fox series, perhaps a variant timeline or something, but that’s almost certainly what they wanted us to be thinking about when watching it.
Good theories. Yeah, there are alot of directions they could go right now, which is pretty cool. Will be very interesting to see what the next few years holds for the X-men!
If Monica is in X'Men '97 then that's a younger version of her mother and if her origin runs parallel to 616 Carol she's only been Captain Marvel/Binary for 8 (when she first gets powered) or 2 (when she breaks free from the Supreme Intelligence) years. Intriguing. Moon Girl spaghettification link might be a stretch. Spaghettification has long be a term in physics for what happens to someone falling into a black hole. As you get closer the gravitational pull is noticeably stronger across just the length of a person and so you get pulled or stretched and turned into spaghetti.
Oh wow...now that's a really cool thought. Since "present day" in X-men '97 is ... well ... 1997, then you are right, her mom has been Captain Marvel / Binary since 1989. That would explain why the actress looks like she did in the Captain Marvel movie. Dang...what a great observation...nicely done! As for Moon Girl, I only pulled a few of the lines from that show but make if you watch the video on black holes I go through a bunch more of her lines and it's amazing how well it syncs with the lines from The Marvels. Would be so cool if we get a Moon Girl appearance in Secret Wars!
I still don’t think X-Men 97 has anything to do with The Marvels, mainly since Beast specifically mentioned Charles, which feels like their way of pointing out that they’re different continuities
Yeah, I can definitely understand why you'd say that...very reasonable assumption to make. So, my guess is that they did that to throw us off. I think Prof X will return in X-Men '97 at some point, thus making it possible they are the same universe. Very clever misdirect by Marvel, if my theory is correct!
@@AbitofEverything4U best to put things back in the sacred timeline haha what connects to eternals haha but I understand you where restoring the multiverse hahaha
I think we can atleast keep the damage control connection with NWH and ms. Marvel. They were the villains in ms. Marvel at the end. Also remember that cleary showed up in ms. Marvel after no way home too so that is a character reappearing.
Yeah, I love those Damage Control connections. But my fear with characters like Cleary is that if I add connections for them, it will add a ton more lines, especially for villains like Thanos, but also for Abomination (oh man, that line would be insane from Incredible Hulk down to She-Hulk). Maybe I'll make two timelines...one with all the character connections (hero, villain, supporting, etc) and another with just main hero connections.
@@AbitofEverything4U true. I would just add a line for damage control as a whole maybe just for where theyre a main plotpoint / character (tho pfff yea blonski would he a big call back -- also betty ross returning in cap 4...) But just like to show the connection between ms. Marvel and no way home
That's a great question. I think we'll need to wait for a direct connection with the MCU to know for sure (such as telling us if the prowler was the one from the MCU). I mean, they have to connect, as ATSV went a long way towards linking them. So hopefully BTSV will tie things together even more clearly!
Ah, I'm following your question now. So, I discuss that in more detail in this vid: ruclips.net/video/fbQqTxY-i-E/видео.html. The video goes over lots of multiversal questions, but you can jump to the spiderverse chapters if you just want to see my thoughts on that imagery of the branches. Really hoping we get more clarity when BTSV arrives. Should be an awesome movie!
Good suggestion. I've been very torn on what to do with secondary characters like Woo as there are a ton of appearances by them and so it could get confusing to add all the lines. So I'm trying to focus more on major heroes. But I think I should make a second diagram that has every single one of the possible connections in it, just to see how crazy it would look!
@@AbitofEverything4U Possible Connections: - Iron Man 2 / All Hail The King (Justin Hammer) - Avengers / Avengers: Age Of Ultron (Hawkeye) - Incredible Hulk / Civil War (Ross) - Ant-Man / Ant-Man & The Wasp (Wasp) + Luis - Avengers: Endgame / Spider-Man: No Way Home (Doctor strange / Wong) - Avengers / Guardians (Thanos) - Black Widow / Hawkeye (Yelena)
Great examples. Woo is also in Quantumania, Darcy is in WandaVision, and probably many more. Love how Marvel connects all their characters together like that!
Great point...and I wonder if that was a sneaky trick to make us think it isn't the same universe. I'm betting Professor X will return at some point in the series, but for now, it makes it seem like it can't be the same universe.
We could get a sequel book to mcu timeline book but focus on the multiverse this would include the other spider man or just the other Sony movies in general since trying to play ball with the mcu so stuff venom morbuis the spider verse films having connections especially the spider verse films and venom movies the fox x men movies also the Netflix shows include we might probably get before or after secret wars
My personal opinion is that I don't like X-Men '97 being the same universe as the Fox X-Men universe cause all the characters don't wear the same costumes. I can get behind Wolverine and Beast coming from X-Men '97 due the fact that they wear similar if not the same outfits. If this not addressed in Deadpool & Wolverine, I will be majorly disappointed. Furthermore this makes me wonder if Earth-838 is the same universe as X-Men '97 due to the fact that Professor X is in the same yellow hoverchair. However I am well aware that Beast did mention Charles in The Marvels post-credit scene. This is then raises the question of which universe does the Fox X-Men and Disney X-Men fall under.
Great commentary...yeah, I'm really torn on how I think it all fits together the best. I do love that there are so many possibilities for what to do and that they are keeping us guessing about what happens to X-men '97, 838, Deadpool, etc. Really excited to see what Marvel throws at us next!
@@AbitofEverything4U Most definitely, that is why we love Marvel, cause it allows us fans to speculate and think of all these types of theories. Creating a discord such as your channel and many others that are the same. I have to say again, that I really appreciate and enjoy the content you put together. The fandom is very strong with this one ;p Keep up the good work.
with regards to timelines and theories it may possibly that X-Men'97 is precursor to marvels post credit scene however 1-they done so retconning if you know 90's show as i do and 2-they used for the marvels sub-basement level of the films not the 90's show it entirely possibly deadpool & Wolverine has nothing to do with fox X-Men universe as they may retcon deadpool films as being from other universe not the X-Men,wolverine,new mutants, the gifted.which may be where reynolds says not touching logan.wolverine in deadpool & Wolverine may be from othe runiverse possibly whatever universe deadpool mid credit scene is in. finally i agree with you deadpool may never be to 616 in deadpool & Wolverine.it may be whatever deapool own universe is,tva outside of time, some other universes and finaly the void which may be mcu battleworld and where rumor has it most of film takes place in.
Excellent theories. Yeah, there are alot of mysteries around how all of the X-Men movies, animated shows, etc will all tie together. Can't wait to see what we learn in DP 3!
@@AbitofEverything4U all i am sure about is how seperating deadpool and legion how both X-Men timelines go as far as X-Men in live action go.X-Men'97 may be branch off of x-men 90's show not ana ctual contunion. which will tie into films later.
Any chance we could get a video on Captain Carter's relative timeline in What If? I've just finished season 2 and it's a little confusing how her relative timeline goes Also I'm operating under the assumption that all the Captain Carters we have seen in What If are the same person and also that one in MoM is completely different. If any part of that is wrong please tell me.
Ask and ye shall receive. This vid covers all the timelines for each What If episode in S2: ruclips.net/video/AD756hQgDJI/видео.html. You can jump right to the first Captain Carter episode in season 2 and the vid starts with season 1 and brings it up to her current adventure.
Yep...that major "oops" will never be forgotten. And I suspect that's what led to the hiring of the timeline keeper not long after that. Marvel was like "okay, so like that can't happen again!"
@@SmoothOperaturr Good question...it's not explained away and in fact it was the first time Marvel acknowledged they made an error in the timeline, as it should have been 4 years instead of 8. From that point on they beefed up their effort to try to prevent that from happening again. It was basically the origin of the timeline book and the timeline keeper role. Mistakes can happen, as we are all human, but I applaud Marvel for admitting it was a mistake and trying to avoid that in the future.
Not sure if it is the same for everyone else in the US but the defenders saga shows are not on the timeline and just on their defenders section, the only show on both is Echo, so I wonder if they just put everything on the timeline to get people to watch Echo and now that everyone has moved on, they removed the shows.
Weird...I have everything on my timeline. Could perhaps have been a temporary glitch, ig? I do know that the timeline is different in various regions, which is strange. Also, the timeline is different based on the maturity setting for the profile, ofc. Otherwise, I'm not sure what happened in your case. Very odd.
@@AbitofEverything4U yep, they must have just updated/fixed it because everything is there today and also on my computer the icon of the Disney+ D looks greenish/teal and so does the app on my phone as apposed to the royal blue that it normally would be, now if the color change is not the same for everyone then I am either going crazy or my tech is just wacky lol
Oh, that's good to hear that it's fixed. And yeah, that color change is due to Hulu and Disney+ merging...they picked a color somewhere between the blue and green of the two different streaming platforms.
Now that the connected lines are now focused on character appearances in your timeline image, shouldn't the line from Daredevil Season 3 to No Way Home branch off into Hawkeye because of Kingpin?
Good questions! So I do have a line connecting DD S3 to NWH for Matt, but I agree, I could add a line from DD S3 to Hawkeye for Kingpin. For the most part, I'm just doing the lines for the heroes, since the villains would make for some pretty gnarly lines. Thanos would add a ton of lines, for example and Abomination would add a line from Incredible Hulk down to Shang Chi...oh my. But maybe I could try to add lines for villains. That's an interesting idea!
That's a very good question. I wonder if he doesn't feel it's worth intervening at this point as he's hopeful the heroes can handle it themselves. But I suspect we may see him getting involved down the line if push comes to shove and things take a turn for the worse...as I suspect they will indeed!
i think youve said that you view what if as an animated depiction of a live action universe. are you saying that you think Xmen 97 is an animated depiction of a live action universe? this might get too nerdy but, dont they crossover with spiderman the animated series? and isnt he seen in spiderverse, which also makes a distinction between animated and live action universes?! how does that work [im sure youve got an answer!]?
Great question! Yeah, I do hope at some point that Marvel makes it really clear what they consider to be a true universe where the reality is animated (like in MoM) vs. an artistic choice to portray a live action universe as animated. "What If" is definitely a choice to use animation as the medium, but I agree that if they do indeed make X-Men '97 tie into The Marvels, then they would have to make the series (and by extension the Spider-Man series) be live action universes shown as animation. That then gets more complex if Marvel truly does want to tie into Across the Spider-Verse. I'm on the fence if they truly want to do that or not, so we'll have to see how Beyond the Spider-Verse decides to handle things. But anyway, that was such a good question and yeah, I'm beginning to wonder if the only animated universes are truly the cartoons (like a Donald Duck / Mickey mouse world) but that most of what falls under "Marvel Animation" is really live action which is shown as cartoons. Multiverse of Madness sure did open a can of worms, but it also gave me my favorite universe (paint, ofc) where I want to live for just one day...one day! That would be so cool!
Hi will spider-man no way home, venom let there be carnage, madame web , spider-man across the spider-verse and spider-man into the spider-verse be on disney plus hotstar?
Yes, my understanding is that all Sony movies will eventually find their way to Disney+. It may take awhile, but they will all arrive in due time. Very exciting!
What about all the inaccuracies and aspects that didnt make sense throughout the series, the parts that dont align or contradict the logic? I would like to know your breakdown and understanding of all of that.. this just seems like a copout to keep the stories going, money coming in, and not own up to the fact that they made countless logic slips and aspects that made no sense. You used to discuss the way these things all contradicted each other and how big of a mess this entire franchise has become, i wonder your thoughts on how they managed to somehow work it all out and make sense of countless mistakes in the storyline and overarching narrative post-endgame. I just lost all interest once they started throwing in all of these contradicting themes of timeline logic and killing off characters and creating "variants" on a whim.
I'd be happy to tackle any inaccuracies and/or aspects that you feel don't make sense. Let me know if you have any in particular and I'll share my thoughts on them. Thanks for the feedback on the vid!
Couldn't you just have costumes inspired from X- men '97? Like Marvel cld literally do that without any problem. Just imagine that if the X men 97 universe is same as the Marvels post credit scene, all amazing x men Stories that deserved live action treatment is already been done in animation. Like stop defending Marvel fr the mess they have made. They have put themselves in a non recoverable position
Interesting point about the stories already happening in the animated version. I do think there will be some sort of connection with X-Men '97 and the greater multiverse, but it's hard to predict for sure at this point. As for defending Marvel, I wasn't trying to do that at all. I was just talking about the positive steps they have taken recently to shore up the timeline management. I don't view them as being in an non-recoverable position, but I respect your opinion if you don't agree. Thanks so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts. Really appreciate it!

@@abishek786 Shhhhhhhhh!
Yup...tons of AoS fans hoping the same thing as you are. At this point, I think anything's possible so let's keep our fingers crossed!
How would they explain the lack of blip, though? Isn’t than an issue?
@luna9astra105 in the last seasons they were time-traveling so maybe they weren't in the current time when the snap or blip happened
Well said...yeah, I think this was very important for them to do and I'm so happy they are taking the timeline so seriously. Very good news indeed!
I think your timeline is looking a lot nicer now, much easier to follow as well!
Good point...he was indeed very spaghettified...lot of that going around lately!
@@AbitofEverything4UYep good thing Thunderbolts is the next avengers type crossover we're getting next year.

It's great that Marvel puts so much importance to the timeline nowadays, because it makes it so much easier to follow and, of course, I'll always enjoy me some Chronological watching and, as I've said this makes it a lot easier 😅
But I still got me some hope for Agents of Shield

Well said...Netflix definitely opens the door for more to come in and Agent Carter and AoS are two very strong possibilities!
Maybe consider a video about how the comics relate to the MCU Multiverse? (since we see comic panels in Spiderverse)
That's an interesting idea. I'm very curious to see if Spiderverse will end up tying into Secret Wars down the road. If so, that would mean the comics are connected to the MCU via the Spiderverse. Wild!

Teacher: what job would you like when you’re older?
Student: I wanna be the Marvel Cinematic Universe Timeline Keeper
lol! Very smart student. He's going places!
I hadn't even considered that the X-Men universe shown in The Marvels could be the '97 universe, but you've basically convinced me with the side-by-side imagery of Beast. Now I'm hoping that we'll get to see Binary show up in X-Men '97 and really solidify it
Yeah, that would be so cool if we get a crossover like that. It sure seems they are heading in that direction!
Dude, you should definitely try to contact Mr. River
I feel like an chat/interview between you guys would be the best ever MCU interview.
That would be so much fun working for him. Definitely a dream job for sure!

Well said...I say we keep complaining until No Way Home finally shows up!

Thanks...very nice of you to say that. Marvel loves dropping the bread crumbs for us to find and in return, I love trying to piece everything together!
Still waiting for the season by season timeline to be added to D+, I really hope they're added soon
ikr? It can't be that hard. I used to be a full time programmer and I'm sure it isn't that difficult. C'mon Marvel...please make it happen!

I'm guessing this timeline keeper probably had to look at the Defenders shows to canonize them to the sacred time more recently. Timeline book definitely helps, here's hoping we get a volume 2. Which is important concerning those Netflix shows especially if you consider Punisher's ending if I recall from one of your videos. And yeah definitely some really good clues.
I agree...Marvel is definitely in a correcting phase...but I think it will lead to even better content in the months and years to come.

Loki can stop Kevin now
lol! Good point!

I would just add a line for damage control as a whole maybe just for where theyre a main plotpoint / character (tho pfff yea blonski would he a big call back -- also betty ross returning in cap 4...)
But just like to show the connection between ms. Marvel and no way home
Good point...it was a very big connection between NWH and Ms. Marvel!
I wonder where the characters from spiderverse are placed in the timeline
That's a great question. I think we'll need to wait for a direct connection with the MCU to know for sure (such as telling us if the prowler was the one from the MCU). I mean, they have to connect, as ATSV went a long way towards linking them. So hopefully BTSV will tie things together even more clearly!
IIRC the timeline which looked exactly like Loki's tree was in ATSV so does that mean ATSV is after loki s2?
Ah, I'm following your question now. So, I discuss that in more detail in this vid: ruclips.net/video/fbQqTxY-i-E/видео.html. The video goes over lots of multiversal questions, but you can jump to the spiderverse chapters if you just want to see my thoughts on that imagery of the branches. Really hoping we get more clarity when BTSV arrives. Should be an awesome movie!
I actually have a whole theory for BTSV and it connects to spiderman 4
Niiiiice! Yeah, I really hope we get a firm tie-in during BTSV!
You should add a connection between Antman and the Wasp & Wandavision for Jimmy Woo.
@@AbitofEverything4U Possible Connections:
- Iron Man 2 / All Hail The King (Justin Hammer)
- Avengers / Avengers: Age Of Ultron (Hawkeye)
- Incredible Hulk / Civil War (Ross)
- Ant-Man / Ant-Man & The Wasp (Wasp) + Luis
- Avengers: Endgame / Spider-Man: No Way Home (Doctor strange / Wong)
- Avengers / Guardians (Thanos)
- Black Widow / Hawkeye (Yelena)
Great examples. Woo is also in Quantumania, Darcy is in WandaVision, and probably many more. Love how Marvel connects all their characters together like that!
About The Marvels after credit scene and monica showing up in Xmen 97, in the after credit, didnt beast call professor x' name and hes dead in xmen 97
Great point...and I wonder if that was a sneaky trick to make us think it isn't the same universe. I'm betting Professor X will return at some point in the series, but for now, it makes it seem like it can't be the same universe.
@abitofeverything4u You should apply to be the next MCU timeline keeper, and you should just link videos from your channel as your resume.
Oh my, that would be such a dream job. Heck they wouldn't even have to pay me...I'd be willing to pay them to let me do the job. lol!
This is all gonna go tits up when mutants and the X-Men are introduced😭
Fingers crossed Feige can make it all work. Can't wait to see the X-Men in the MCU!
I love that idea...a multiversal timeline book would be very popular, I suspect!
Thanks! I plead guilty to being a completely and total nerd, which definitely helps when making the vids!
with regards to timelines and theories it may possibly that X-Men'97 is precursor to marvels post credit scene however 1-they done so retconning if you know 90's show as i do and 2-they used for the marvels sub-basement level of the films not the 90's show
it entirely possibly deadpool & Wolverine has nothing to do with fox X-Men universe as they may retcon deadpool films as being from other universe not the X-Men,wolverine,new mutants, the gifted.which may be where reynolds says not touching logan.wolverine in deadpool & Wolverine may be from othe runiverse possibly whatever universe deadpool mid credit scene is in.
finally i agree with you deadpool may never be to 616 in deadpool & Wolverine.it may be whatever deapool own universe is,tva outside of time, some other universes and finaly the void which may be mcu battleworld and where rumor has it most of film takes place in.
Right...I think Legion is definitely off in a timeline of its own.
Any chance we could get a video on Captain Carter's relative timeline in What If? I've just finished season 2 and it's a little confusing how her relative timeline goes
Also I'm operating under the assumption that all the Captain Carters we have seen in What If are the same person and also that one in MoM is completely different.
8 years later..
Yep...that major "oops" will never be forgotten. And I suspect that's what led to the hiring of the timeline keeper not long after that. Marvel was like "okay, so like that can't happen again!"
@@AbitofEverything4Uhow is this explained away?
I know the watcher can’t intervene but he did bc of Lutron but why dosnt he intervene with the kang situation
Hi do you know marvel also create live shows. It have different banner called marvel live.
Oh wow...that's cool! I don't have that one on my disney+.
Make a video on zathura and jumanji
Another question who was more dangerous mysterio or green goblin for our tom holland spider-man?
First :)
Thanks for watching!
@@AbitofEverything4UHonestly this person seems like one of those people who just simply trolls and hates on any video that says anything positive about the MCU or marvel in general, so I personally wouldnt waste time with them.
@@iraford5788 It's okay...I don't mind someone sharing their honest thoughts on the MCU, even if those thoughts are negative. Hopefully my answer gives them some hope that things are improving and maybe they'll give the MCU another chance. Lots to look forward to as we march towards Secret Wars!
Second :(
Really appreciate you watching and commenting. Thanks!
