Contrasting this to Battle Against a True Heroine is sort of heartbreaking. But I can't keep my head in such situation when I must perform in front of public. This seriously blows me away and is my new favorite song from this musical, and it has some dang stiff competition. Mippa did an amazing job, her voice is so powerful. The dramatic lines at the start gave me chills and I could feel her passion with every part of the song, which is exactly how Undyne should be. She kept pace with the music amazingly well, which is quite a feat. I didn't expect the chorus to be included in this since the other boss fights haven't really had one, but it makes perfect sense, Undyne is fighting for everyone's HOPES AND DREAMS!!11111oneoneone after all. Also I love how Sym draws Frisk a lot, the image of Frisk and Undyne facing off with spears is really great. Every time I listen to this I feel like I can run five miles, it's going on my workout playlist for sure, haha.

@@holyassasin0544 you do realize that asgore never heard that frisk fell down, right? in the pacifist/neutral run, he fights you, because that is what he promised. he promised the monsters that he would take the fallen humans' souls and use them to break the barrier. in the genocide run, alphys doesn't warn asgore, because she is busy evacuating everyone. if you halt the genocide run at hotlands/the core, you will get the ending where alphys becomes the leader, and she tells you that at first, she just watched you murder all those people, and she wishes that she had done something. and also, if you do the genocide run, the game stops viewing you as a human, because at this point, you aren't human anymore. i can confirm this with mettaton; he was built as a human-murdering machine, but you kill mettaton neo in an instant, because you aren't human. just like that, in the genocide run, once you reach asgore, he asks "what kind of monster are you? sorry, i cannot tell." he, too, stops viewing you as a human.

I've been listening to this song for a while now. After almost a year, I'll finally leave a comment (I'm an idiot, always forget to comment). So, one thing that gets me in this song more than every other is the *voice*. It's so strong. It reaches into my soul (not in a bad way). Even my goosebumps have goosebumps. I just do not have enough words to express all of this, even after (almost) a year.
Ahh, I'm so happy you finally made this one! I could look away from the screen and still understand the words, and I know diction can be hard with fast songs so good job on that. The chorus sounded pretty, they all blended well and they complemented Undyne's voice nicely. Undyne sounded so determined and confident and just so UNDYNE! Great job all around!

This seriously blows me away and is my new favorite song from this musical, and it has some dang stiff competition. Mippa did an amazing job, her voice is so powerful. The dramatic lines at the start gave me chills and I could feel her passion with every part of the song, which is exactly how Undyne should be. She kept pace with the music amazingly well, which is quite a feat. I didn't expect the chorus to be included in this since the other boss fights haven't really had one, but it makes perfect sense, Undyne is fighting for everyone's HOPES AND DREAMS!!11111oneoneone after all. Also I love how Sym draws Frisk a lot, the image of Frisk and Undyne facing off with spears is really great.

in the pacifist/neutral run, he fights you, because that is what he promised. he promised the monsters that he would take the fallen humans' souls and use them to break the barrier.
in the genocide run, alphys doesn't warn asgore, because she is busy evacuating everyone. if you halt the genocide run at hotlands/the core, you will get the ending where alphys becomes the leader, and she tells you that at first, she just watched you murder all those people, and she wishes that she had done something.
and also, if you do the genocide run, the game stops viewing you as a human, because at this point, you aren't human anymore. i can confirm this with mettaton; he was built as a human-murdering machine, but you kill mettaton neo in an instant, because you aren't human.
just like that, in the genocide run, once you reach asgore, he asks "what kind of monster are you? sorry, i cannot tell." he, too, stops viewing you as a human.

It also reminds me of something else I can't quite put my finger on...Anyway, Undyne's singer is so amazing to pull off those fast parts (as well as the choir), and the addition of the choir really fits. I've been listening to this song for a while now. After almost a year, I'll finally leave a comment (I'm an idiot, always forget to comment). So, one thing that gets me in this song more than every other is the *voice*. It's so strong. It reaches into my soul (not in a bad way). Even my goosebumps have goosebumps. I just do not have enough words to express all of this, even after (almost) a year.

Ahh, I'm so happy you finally made this one! I could look away from the screen and still understand the words, and I know diction can be hard with fast songs so good job on that. The chorus sounded pretty, they all blended well and they complemented Undyne's voice nicely. Undyne sounded so determined and confident and just so UNDYNE! Great job all around!

The lyrics fit perfectly to the flow of the song. To be honest on that front, I thought the lyrics for a few of the songs in this series didn't flow as well as they could have. BUT THIS. THIIIIIISS. These lyrics fit Undyne amazingly.
