Thank You for showing what the Timberline Lodge looks like. In 2019 I went past the Lodge without stopping trying to get to Cascade Locks as soon as possible. Just in case my dad's surgery didn't go well and I had to quickly get to the airport in Portland to head back home. I just love your videos of the beautiful scenery that's around you. That shirt will be a priceless memento from your time on the trail. Be safe and be careful.

Stayed at Timberline in 2015…..so cool! Unfortunately, Mt Hood was totally socked in….but we enjoyed it nonetheless. So glad you had a great time!!!

Certainly the first time I've heard Glen Miller's "Moonlight Serenade" in the background of a backpacking vlog (at about 10:00, and behind the foreground music). That's a nice touch, even if accidental!

That was the thing that alerted me to “The Shining” part of it, and then the clarification about 15 seconds later when she explained the actual link.

No way can I go 12 hours without peeing. Maybe 6. Good vibes to you.👍

I was wondering... Which tent are you using? Looks between a Durston and a Zpacks (can't tell) :) ?

I may be way off on this but it doesn’t seem like a good idea to put your feet that are trying to recover and heal in hot water like the hot tub. It’s seems like that would make them worse causing even less natural oil to be present on your feet after being stripped by the hot water.

    Your feet are horrifying.
Please get yourself a small jar of Vick's and put liberal amounts of it on your feet every morning and every evening after washing and drying your feet. It'll stop you from getting blisters, and it will help you fight the candida fungus that you are battling.
Desenex powder also helps, but Vick's will make a huge difference.
I have the dreaded toenail fungus, which is the same fungal infection.
I use a cheap hobby brush to apply the Vick's so that I don't get Vick's all over my hands and have to taste and smell that stuff when I'm eating.
    Happy trails.
