Play EASY (Like Sunday Morning) by the Commodores | Easy Slow Piano Tutorial for Beginners
This is a Tutorial of the 1977 Commodore's hit "Easy". You'll remember that one - "Because I'm Easy, Easy like Sunday morning", right? Learning to play this song is so easy and there are only a few chords to learn. You can learn the whole song in about 10 minutes! The Commodores had an awesome group, and Lionel Richie was a driving force behind not only the lyrics but the piano playing! This slow, easy piano tutorial aimed at beginners is exactly what you're looking for!
Easy to learn! You don't need to know piano theory! You don't need to know piano theory, notes, or music. It's Easy to learn with Music Made Easy - Piano Without Theory. This is the channel to come to when you want good piano tutorials.

Lionel is a national treasure. Happy to see him on American Idol staying relevant and looking pretty darn healthy after 50 years in the music biz writing everything from funk and disco and country ballads .
I agree! He has given the world an amazing gift with his music! It was interesting to listen to his album where he took some of his biggest hits and transformed them into country type songs. I learned alot about piano watching him when I was young!!

Oh my goodness! You made me laugh right out loud during that last little piece you sang with! Another great lesson. Sometimes I would like to learn how to add the melody in as well because without that it just doesn't sound like a whole song to me. But I love what we are learning! Thanks for all the patient teaching and going slow so we can have time to "get it."

I just love LR's music,I had Hot on the Tracks ,8 track cassette back in the mid 70's..I have sheet music books of him..I'm a guitar player and trying to learn piano, you made this look sooo easy,love you're way of explaining..I'm 68 yrs old,I can read sheet music..but it's not easy when you're not a piano player..I sub to your channel,will be following..Cheers my friend !

Ok, Alberto, the best way for me to explain the "fancy" part is to play that first chord, and instead of playing all 3 notes at the same time, start from the lowest note and then play the middle note, and then the highest note.... THEN, play an A-flat on the octave above that 2 times before you move to the 2nd chord of the set. Does that make sense?

Hey Michael! Yes, there is! Basically, you move every note up or down the same amount (steps or notes). In my "Learn All The Chords" tutorial, you can see how the notes are the same, just played on different keys. Are you playing with music, or something that you've learned on my channel or something else?

Hey my new friend!! I absolutely LOVE my RD2000. Yes, I think they are modern enough to keep up with today's standards. Roland did a really good job of putting this one together several years ago to make it relevant then and now. I also use Keyscape when recording. Love the piano sounds. But using the RD2000 on it's own, when layering voices... wow!!! It is amazing and you can make a beautiful sound!!!

Hi John and Rikki! Yes, in other videos I have tried to talk about the notes. I DO have an updated tutorial of this song on the channel!
This attempt is noble, but the left-hand fingering is way off. Also, the base notes on the down beat and notes anticipating the next phrase are missing. These notes should be included because they are not difficult even on a basic rendition.
Well, John, I will leave it up to YOU, then, to make the right tutorial. You seem to know more than I do.
