Charlotte’s reaction was pretty realistic too considering her career and how young her son is. Some people said they don't think Reese cheated because of the relationship bar with him and Audrey. They said it seems like they broke up at some point and now he's with Marlo but maybe it was mutual and they still live together for now.

I think Charlotte is very overwhelmed and she didn't know how to act at the moment and didn't believe her sister maybe she thinks Ginger is covering Marcos and it was with another woman and see it like he is manipulating Ginner on saying it was with her. Also Graham was there, maybe she didn't wanted to react badly in front of him. But her reaction is scary coz it can lead to something bad for her mental health.
It could be that Charlotte is in denial and believes that Markos took advantage of her little sister? Like maybe she's thinking he told her lies about how much he loves her which led to Ginny falling for him, considering the fact that when this affair started Ginny was about 19 and the age gap between her and Charlotte is probably 5-ish years, plus the fact that she probably isn't aware of Ginger's tendencies she most likely thinks that Ginger was a victim in all this and so doesn't blame her as much. That's not to say she is not hurt.
