Deftones has been a band that went under my radar for 20 years! I happened to see them live as an opening act for Incubus, who has been my favorite band since high school. Ever since, I've seen them as an alternate act for other bands I've gone to check out throughout the years. You're the first reaction I've ever seen mention the actual digital bath sounds they incorporate in to the break. I think it's one of the coolest parts of the song. Props for recognizing the genius of it.

II mentioned in the Drumeo vid that Abe Cunningham (drummer of Deftones) is a big influence of II's style. You can deeeefinitely hear it.

Deftones changed me in 1997 in high school. Sleep Token changed me again in recent years.
