I agree with you. In a relationship I think both people understand that you may be attracted to other people. However Celeb or not I think WCW and MCM is inappropriate when someone is praising their psychical features however if it is a post based on what they’ve contributed to the community/World I would say that is different as there is no lust involved just inspiration/motivation.
I LOVE Jeannie buuuuuut there was virtually nothing "healthy and secure" about her marriage. When Freddy was on the show she always complained about him to the audience (she called him a "Mitch" on national TV!), she was always fighting with him and talking about being too tired for sex when he travels more than half the time (so she barely saw him), and she was always encouraging him to look at other women, go out by himself, socialize with women etc. That marriage was weird as hell.

her husband cheated. you can have freedom to be a human and have eyes without violating the trust and vows of your marriage. i think Jeannie never wanted to take anything from Fred or tell him he couldn't do this or that.. i dont think though, that was inviting him to step out on her.. she never stepped out on him. i do think she should have been cautious of the dating app thing, but i think a lot of what she talks about is just her saying we're still people. we get attracted to people. we find people good looking. some couples look together. but we're together at the end of the day. SHE was secure because she trusted him. just because someone imposes insecurity on your relationship doesn't mean you did anything wrong, welcomed or "allowed" it. Freddie will make his own decisions.. but Jeannie trusted him to make those decisions with her in mind. i don't think them getting a divorce has to do with Jeannie being too lenient. we lie to our parents all the time.. some strict parents make sneaky kids. some parents who have 2 rules make the most disciplined kids. either way, the kid will make their own decision. it doesn't make it the parents fault for trusting them

I think it's healthy to talk about crushes in your relationship (eg. watching a movie and complimenting someone looks good). It shows security.
The issue was Freddie having crushes within their circle of friends, exactly what Jeannie said she wasn't comfortable with.
Relationships aside, I only have family and friends on my social media and I know they wouldn't care to see that so they would really be no need to post crush mon/wed. I'm not really updating my statuses for myself so I could just keep it to myself or just tell someone in person.

Late to the party, but I know my wife's wcw(s) and she knows mine. When Gillian Anderson had new photos come out recently, I saw them first and had to show her cause I know my girl. She had a moment and I loved it. That's what's great about being in secure relationships. Crushes don't mean much because they're completely harmless. I will say it's an individual couple thing though because some people have traumas and trust issues, and that's fine. For us though, wcw is all good.

Ugh I’m sickened by the ugly and hateful comments about Jeannie. Marriage is complicated and has many layers to it. True...most likely when she or anyone begins to fall out of love with their partner, they lose that healthy amount of jealousy and care less about what the other is doing. The couple can still love and care for each other but there is no more desire between them. Jeannie will find a different love and she may be surprised by how differently she feels when she is in love with someone else.
Giving a guy too much lead way will result in a break up. Crushing is off limits and should be kept in his head if he is crushing on someone.
