Good advice! I would love to see a video that also talks about things that add age to our appearance, as Gen X , I like balance , I don’t want to look like I’m trying to hold on to my teen years but also I don’t want to add age through my clothing.

Love all the good advice however I think the matching 2 piece outfits work very nicely. I have received many compliments from strangers as well as friends when I wear mine. They just need to be appropriate for whatever you’re doing, like airplane travel or by car. They are a bit of a trend and maybe not everyone can pull them off, but I think it beats looking worse in a leisurely comfortable outfit that many of us will put together themselves, and they’re a no brainer.😊

I agree with all but the lounge sets. I just wore a lounge set to book club and was complimented. I don't feel the set looks like pajamas to begin with, so maybe this applies to what type of lounge set you are wearing and how you accessorize. Fun to hear, but always "each to his own" in what they choose to wear.

Right! I always wonder who the heck wears the crazy stuff they strut on the runways. I've never seen everyday people wearing them on the streets. I'm guilty of sticking with the same shoes, because I pick one pair that I love and literally wear it out, but also because I'm lazy about changing my shoes. I've trying to do better with footwear.

I am 71 and have no time or space for anything that doesn't make me happy. I dress for my lifestyle (mostly on a pedal bike); am slim and fit and love my legs; but got rid of pale yellow Levi's shorts that were just a tad too short for my taste. I do think it is reasonable to keep 2 sizes of clothing, for fluctuating weight. You might just need to reach in the back of your wardrobe for some investment item that doesn't fit right just now. Finally: a collection of good belts and scarves is timeless

Re: too revealing clothes. I was told as a teen, if you'll show it, men think you will share it. Maybe not how everyone feels but it has guided my style for a long time. If I want to be treated respectfully then I should dress and act respectfully.

I'm very short and very short waisted. Pants never falll nicely on me, and I've had disappointing experiences with tailors leaving me out money and a wearable garment. I wear active wear to the gym, on the street and to the store. Petites are 99% of the time too long in waist, sleeves, pant, and skirt length. Shopping for classy wellfitting clothes is beyond me.

I remember your other video like this which I found offensive. I'm 64 and have no issue with anything in this video but I'm thinking of my daughter who's 34 and wears most of these things. I don't see that she and her friends will become conservative dressers when they are 40 in a few years. I don't think it's necessary.
