Honestly, comparing 2NE1's debut with BlackPink's debut, I think 2NE1 had a bigger impact. I say this cause at the time, there was literally NO GIRL GROUP LIKE 2NE1. They turned the Kpop world full of cute concepts upside down. They were also a group who wasn't seen as 'traditionally' pretty. Blackpink on the other hand are debuting in an era where literally every concept has been done. As a blackjack and Blackpink Stan, I like both groups, but nothing will ever compare to 2NE1's debut. They were really one of a kind.

They were a killer group and even though they were first stated by Yg that they were the "girl" version of BIgbang, they managed to make a name of themselves. 2ne1 was a really loved and respected group.
