I love how you brought God into your why. I've recently come to the same reasoning and wanting to Stuart what God gave me, my temple included. It actually gives us the opportunity to put God first and glorify him in all that we are doing. Helps keep the consistency too! Kudos to you and wish you all the best on your Healthy Lifestyle Journey! My birthday is coming up at the beginning of January and I too wanted to make real change for myself by the time I turn 28 and keep going because God gave me this life and body and I can't keep mistreating it.
Had to comment a few minutes in, first off I love your sense of humor b/c same girl! I make jokes but I’m tired of always being a clown haha I’m the ring leader in this, so as such we act accordingly. But in all seriousness I totally understand of wanting more and going for it. More morning walks, more cuddles with my dogs and husband for mental health and keeping myself accountable with eating out. It’s always the food from the streets that has me cheating on my veggies in the sheets haha love you and stay balanced!

As a older woman now I felt this in my soul I need to get it right and tight too and not fall in a Popeyes drive through same sis same 😂but we got this we can do it 💯
I'm an older Capricorn and I can relate to this weight loss thing. It'll be more difficult to lose the weight at my age, but 2025 is the beginning of my REAL journey.
You look great, worrying about losing weight can defeat the purpose of your goal. However, you have large bones, muscles, not much fat. All the best in your endeavor:
Small changes are great in the beginning! Stretch, take a small walk a couple days a week, try smaller portions, if still hungry replace with healthy choices like fruit or vegetables. You got this!
Yaassssss i want innnn.i say this every year, but never stick to it. Im a capi too im turning 29. And i really want to change my lifestyle and take care of my body and love myself and my body which i hadnt been able to. But i really want to be that bih. So im ready to go on this journey!!!🎉🎉🎉
Start with the spirit.....start with prayer and praise! Then the soul....feed soul the Word of God! Stay as close to God and follow Jesus!!! Watch your words ; the Bible says, "You will eat the fruit of your lips." Proverbs 13:2
WAIT CEROSE! I GAINED 30 LBS THIS SEMESTER BECAUSE I HAD TO PRIORITIZE MY GRADES! OVER HEALTH FOR NURSING! I am trying to lose 70 by this time next year so best believe, WE CAN DO THIS! I also want to thank you and your family for making these videos because they helped me get through this semester. Religions of China A. Human anatomy and physiology A. General psychology A. British history A. Was it worth it? probably but noticing I was having signs of a heart attack, that was my sign that I need to get it together NOW
I truly understand. I remember avoiding taking pictures for so long cause I hated my body. Once I finally saw a picture that someone else took of me 😬 oh yeah that was it. It’s very hard but eventually you enjoy the healthy meals and the exercising. I believe in you 🎉
I'm going through the same thing, getting back on track! Remember to focus on the abundance God gave us in the garden and not what we have to eliminate (lack).
Sister girl! I hear your heart-cry. You started this ‘rant’ with a serious, sincere heartfelt declaration of disappointment - And then you laughed and brought us into the ‘joke’ - but you were serious. It is serious. As we age (me? 76), maintaining a healthy body becomes a real challenge. You still have a headstart at 27. Woman of God, Yah’s got you. You and your great sense of humor with your faith in the Word, is going to break you out of the vicious cycle of ‘lose it/gain it. You and your lovely family are in my heart therefore in my prayers. Shalom🙏🏾🙌🏽😇
Amen to this!! Your humour is exquisite~😂💕 We're deffo in this together bcs I need that inside and out, mental and physical transformation rn. God will get us there!!
I am so happy for you. You’re already beautiful, but you’re also hiding a stunning woman underneath! Never give up, make healthy choices your lifestyle and watch it melt off effortlessly!♥️
Eat whatever you want in moderation. My tricks regarding snacks I eat only the serving size. Ex: 12 dorito chips per serving or 20 cheetos per serving, 2 oreo cookies, etc. It's a small amount that satisfies my craving. Measure your food 8 oz of juice or soda, 1 -2 liter of water, 1-2 cups of rice, no more than 1-2 pizza, or 4 chicken wings (2 drums, 2 flats) etc. and you get in the habit. Also, be active, walk more, and take stairs. Intermittent fasting works. I don't gym. My weight is consistent 150 form 190 post pandemic.
thank you sis! this is great advice I will be taking!!! food is too good and I don 't do well feeling restricted because then it makes me wanna binge eat later so moderating will be very important for me!
I think for weight loss, it’s best to take it one step at a time. I’ve personally also fallen into the habit of going on extreme diet and life changes changes (trying to only eat salad, no carbs, no sweets, gym everyday) and it’s never good for longevity. What I’ve found help me is cutting DOWN on food but not completely cutting it out. For instance I love soda! So instead of drinking 3 cans. I’ll try to limit it to one can and get the diet option which has 0 calories. I love chips and sweets. I try to buy lower calorie options. For instance I am a sucker for popcorn! But one bag is like 500 calories. I could eat like 2 bags in one sitting! That’s 1000 calories in just prick alone!! (And since I’m short, my tdee is like 1500 😭). But if I buy the low fat option, suddenly, that one bag is only 200-300 calories! Also! Doing workouts is nice but I hate it I’m not going to lie. I would force myself to do workouts I didn’t like because I saw that they were the best for fat loss. Now I just do the workout I like doing and if I don’t feel like working out, I don’t beat myself up over it. 80% of weightloss happens in the kitchen anyways.
Anyways. I say all this to say that I hope you succeed in your weightloss! Remember it’s not linear and there may be days where the cravings are BADD. But even if you have a “bad day”, it’s not the end of the world and you can always try again the next meal or day. I’m not sure if I emphasize this enough either but it’s really easy to get in your head about weightloss and so over restricting can turn into an ED really quick. I pray no one goes through this and to be kind to yourself during your journey. Despite Reddit’s… reputation, it can be a really nice and helpful place so if you want, I recommend a subreddit called r/VolumeEating. They give meal ideas that are low in calories and really fulfilling so you don’t have snacking urges :D
Cerose you really get me with these titles 😂. I'm also on a weight loss journey. Anyway girly pop, I reactivated my IG and I followed you, check your DMs sis ❤. Your DMs seem restricted to invite only
I love that you are doing it for you. I turned 39 last year and I woke one day and said I am tired of being big I have been over weight since I was 12. I have been staying strong and have been working at and it is hard but I am now down 45lbs.
it's really a big deal to me though, I used to weight 375, I lost a lot of weight but I definitely felt myself entering the unhealthy realm! just this year I gained 30lb! I gotta do something about it! thank you love!
yeah! that's the big thing... I don't like feeling constantly tired and lethargic.. I also have anemia which makes it worse! but everything is manageable, I just gotta do it!
Same! I kept looking at old pics and wanted to improve my health for my two kids, because my two year old is really wearing out. I started semaglutide(hear me out) about two weeks ago, and I feel good. It gave me more energy to work out which helps but it also curbs my appetite. It did come with some nausea and minor aches but I feel better. I have God on my side so I’m determined to gain self control and get my health back! You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
I really applaud you for taking these steps to bettering you and in turn bettering the life of your kids. Good luck on your journey. This past year i have tried to lose weight myself. My profile picture is from a few years ago 👀 😅 i have always been on the average thin side. 115 to 125lbs. I had my daughter in September of 2020 and got up to 155. A normal amount hut after that i just had an unhealthy relationship with food and got up to 200 and for my 30th birthday i told myself i couldn't live life like this anymore. It's been about a year and a half now. And im down to 170. Not much but it's going down. I don't weight myself too often but i try to make better choices of what i eat and how much of it. Thank you for shearing with us. 💜
That's the problem. Going to the gym 5 days a week and eating salads isn't what the average person does 😂 especially if you start doing it cold turkey. Moderation and discipline is key
yeah I agree! not the average, I think it's just this time around I feel like I have to come back with a VENGENCE! and for my goals and timeline, it's going to be a pretty drastic change
im ngl the energy of the video was very different when I first started filming, because I knew it had gotten pretty bad... I just didn't know the full extent! stress will do it to you! and I've been letting my self fall off! I have to get back on!! thank you love!! excited to really put some work in!
You better be serious about this Cerose because I am being very serious when I say I want to follow along and actually do this thing TOGETHER come on girl 2025 is alllll us.
I promise you start with leisure walks for an hour a day because falling off is a sign that it was too much of a change or too aggressive and unsustainable. If you stick with walks and cut off sugar, increase vegetables and prioritize protein and minimizing portions without tracking cals baby you'll see a change immediately ♥️
This is how I've been feeling for a while. Feeling tired doing the simplest thing, but you have to remember FOOD IS NOT THE ENEMY!!! You have to eat right to lose the weight also you have to be more active. Remember you can be active but not eating right; you won't lose the weight and its the same with you can be eating right but not active enough. I have realized this myself; that you HAVE TO ACTUALLY EAT TOO!! God tells us how important our bodies and we don't even listen. Girl, let's do this!!! Don't be too hard on yourself tho; yoh need to move at your own pace. Do what makes YOU happy and healthy. Sorry for the long comment
girlie!!!! you got this!! imma say some stuff please ignore this unsolicited advice: my mental was not it, my weight would come back i cut out gluten fully and lost 70 pounds in 9 months... i dont have celiac just an extremely minor intolerance. i like to work smart and i love my fries!!! as women with cycles our cravings reflect what point we are in our cycles and we needs those CORBS!!!!! blah blah blah you are going to find amazing ways to find joy in food and in your self. so literally to be on accountability its my duty to share wheat it in everything!!!!!! seasoning and ish. its is only 3 ingredients to cut out and that is WHEAT, BARLEY, RYE! ONLY 3 THINGS and our temple responds rapidly and healthily. you are amazing and thank you!
I knew it was clickbait lol and 0:44 I am tired too!!! I want to feel like myself again....But yeah, I got like a new scale that connects to an app, too. I also got the "Better Me" app, so I can keep track of my food etc. One of the apps said my melodic age is 39. I said "Oh no no no, I refuse." I'm not even at that age yet. lol ....But my advice to you as a female to female. Eat according to where you are on your cycle and where your hormones change. If you are starting to get those cravings (fast food), eat a healthy alternative to that food or make it at home with healthier ingredients. ❤❤❤
It takes time...don't try to rush and lose it all in a few months. Do a little by little. Eliminate one thing a week. Like limit fast foods, instead of 5 days, cut it to 3 days, then 2 days. Just have fun with trying new foods. Or like if you go don't get the fries....Keep trying and have fun. Find a way to move that you can enjoy...maybe gojng hiking..or getting bikes and exploring...or finding a hip hop class. Just keep trying new things...
The biggest struggle is having so much self-love that I don't even notice the weight gain... then my smart scale is like "B*tch, what happened?"... and my only response is snacks 😅 I'm back in the gym as well. The stair climber is kicking my butt because my stamina is nonexistent. This is sooo hard.
Chick eat clean no artificial stick , protein filled diet, premake homade snacks , and fast stop eating at 8:00pm to 8:00am if your snakish during these hours drink some green tea with honey.
If you really do deep search, from my current journey it is rooted in self hatred, feeling worthless. It is not always your fault it can be a generational curse! The lack of discipline and follow through when doing these things that help better your life in the long run are HARD for me because I also realize I have commitment issues 😅. I’m feel the same way tired of being big. And when people take pics I’m like damn I look like a whale! 😂 I have told myself to try with something easy like 10k steps a day or around that goal. Supplements I recommend are magnesium, Vitamin D3, K2 etc. depends on what you need what majority of us are nutritionally deficient.
Gyming or intense work outs increase your appetite pls walk more and tackle your caloric deficit instead. Set yourself for success, I see yourself in me sis and we're twins fr ❤
Was about to start my weight loss journey the beginning of 2020....that didn't end well. It's time NOW!!!! Let's all get our physical health in order. It'll be a journey but we'll get it done. I'm currently helping myself by using an app that lets me know which companies I give my money to that support Democrats or Republicans. I'm lessening my consumption at places, like McDonald's, and upping consumption at places that support democracy. It'll help me up my cooking skills and create healthier treats for myself. Let's gooooooo, baby!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Im tellin you! You can still eat your fries and burgers and everything, it’s just your stomach tells you the portions now. Yes it is a big big change because we were used to eat a lot but the more you lose the weight the easier it is to adapt to that new lifestyle. I went in to surgery with 110 kg and Ive lost 38kg so far. I am 74kg right now and I am so happy. If you have questions I’m here for you girl! ❤️
I think what helps me is not treating dieting as something l must do but treating it as a life-style. You can have the cheat days but 90% has to healthy food that you ENJOY without feeling like you eating raw leaves 🍃 😂
had me fearful bc of the title 😭 but youre beautiful regardless your size. but amen, im gonna get my steak n cheese bagel sandwich and i SWEAR imma start 😭 love you!!
thank you! you are sooo right! we are all beautiful regardless of size but once it starts taking a toll on someone like it has me... I have to do better! I love you!!! take an extra bite for me! that sounds good asl lol
Everybody has their moments with their way trust me I know I had a whole good ass year where I lost over probably like a hundred and something pounds and then my ass just went right back but I'm starting my journey again anyway so hopefully I can stay healthy I do have to myself because I have diabetes type 2 Now so I guess you know how that feels
Eat your regular foods but on a smaller plate so that you eat smaller portions, try not to drink your calories, and don't eat snacks right out of a bag, put it in a bowl where you count servings so that you are mindful ahead of time of how much you are going to eat. If you fall off hard then check if it's around your cycle because hormone cravings are no joke but if it happens have compassion for your body and get back in the saddle as soon as you can. Get a hobby to do to work with your hands that you can do so that you have something to do when boredom eating urges hits. You've got this!
thank you love! I might pick up knitting/ crocheting for that! I've been thinking about it for a while! oooh! I like that part about not drinking your calories! certain drinks can be really calorie dense!
girl I wish I could lose weight like that... watch me mess around and eat everything I like in small portions... I feel like it would back fire for me! show me your ways!!!!

You look great, worrying about losing weight can defeat the purpose of your goal. However, you have large bones, muscles, not much fat. All the best in your endeavor:
Cerose girl, I feel you but don't know where to start:(
we can start together sis! I am going to be trying it alll!! it doesn't matter where how are when we start! as long as we do it! we got this!
Watch your words ; the Bible says, "You will eat the fruit of your lips." Proverbs 13:2
girl you scared me!! ahhhhh you beautiful the way you are
WAIT CEROSE! Was it worth it? probably but noticing I was having signs of a heart attack, that was my sign that I need to get it together NOW
This is a journey, not a sprint. Take it day by day and understand that just because you fall off you can always get back at it. That's life.
Oh girl, I'm so down because the pounds have been SNEAKING on me!😭
I truly understand. I remember avoiding taking pictures for so long cause I hated my body. Once I finally saw a picture that someone else took of me 😬 oh yeah that was it. It’s very hard but eventually you enjoy the healthy meals and the exercising. I believe in you 🎉
You have no idea how much this all means to me! Thank you so much!
I'm going through the same thing, getting back on track! Remember to focus on the abundance God gave us in the garden and not what we have to eliminate (lack).
Girl me too! As a mom of two as well( l4 and 8 month) I’m over it… we have to be healthy for us and our kids and it’s a plus to look like a baddie
Nice chance 👌. Hope you find a good chance to do it. 😊
깜짝이야 언니… 😅 u got me
You….you got me
Sister girl!
God will get us there!!
awww thank you!! 😍😍😍 glad I could make you smile/laugh! amen! won't he do it?! yes he will!
Okay miss ma'am! I'm on the same journey right now so let's throw in together. A year from now we're gonna be healthier and happier.

ROSE PLEASE girlyyy you've been given us these jumpscares for years now give a sis break girl Quit playing 😫😭
love you 🥰🥰🥰🥰 sorry for the scare!
Always making me panick after seeing this tittles 😂😂
LMHO...got me!!! WHEW...glad its nothing more than that....
You got this! We got this!
Cerose you really get me with these titles 😂. I'm also on a weight loss journey. Anyway girly pop, I reactivated my IG and I followed you, check your DMs sis ❤. Your DMs seem restricted to invite only
really?! let me check!!
I love that you are doing it for you. I turned 39 last year and I woke one day and said I am tired of being big I have been over weight since I was 12. I have been staying strong and have been working at and it is hard but I am now down 45lbs.
yay!!! congratulations!! that is such a HUGE accomplishment!!!
Good job!!!! Wishing you success on your weight loss journey ❤
Girl... you have 1 life to live. Do what makes you happy. That is all that matters.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂your humor though 🤣😂
❤
Ok! I’m glad it’s nothing major 😂. You got this Girl! Good luck on your journey.
it's really a big deal to me though, I used to weight 375, I lost a lot of weight but I definitely felt myself entering the unhealthy realm! just this year I gained 30lb! I gotta do something about it! thank you love!
Yessss I definitely can relate and I also want to have more energy 😅
yeah! that's the big thing... I don't like feeling constantly tired and lethargic.. I also have anemia which makes it worse! but everything is manageable, I just gotta do it!
@jinju1998 yes I'm going to do it with you new year new us 💪🏼💞
I need to do more research but keep me posted PLEASE!!! I love that! god is on our side!!! amen!!!!
THANK YOU HONEY! we got this!!!
I love you so much. You got this boo.
👍🏽❤️👍🏽❤️👍🏽❤️👍🏽 I’m with you on this
Amen, your worth isn't defined by your weight. You can be beautiful and confident at every stage of yourself and still aim at improving your health 💖
I know that's right!!!! 😍
Cerose, I was scared at first reading the title 😭, but yes we need a lot of consistency to do that
Mama you got this, you gonna do this🥳❤️😙
im ngl the energy of the video was very different when I first started filming, because I knew it had gotten pretty bad... I just didn't know the full extent! stress will do it to you! and I've been letting my self fall off! I have to get back on!! thank you love!! excited to really put some work in!
You better be serious about this Cerose because I am being very serious when I say I want to follow along and actually do this thing TOGETHER come on girl 2025 is alllll us.
im soooo serious!! it's such. blessing when you have a support group and we can be each others! so let's DO IT!!!
Sorry for the long comment
don 't apologize! someone needs to hear this! I needed to hear this! lets do it!!!!
Love LOVE you trying to get closer to God ❤
girlie!!!! you got this!! imma say some stuff please ignore this unsolicited advice: my mental was not it, my weight would come back i cut out gluten fully and lost 70 pounds in 9 months... i dont have celiac just an extremely minor intolerance. i like to work smart and i love my fries!!! as women with cycles our cravings reflect what point we are in our cycles and we needs those CORBS!!!!! blah blah blah you are going to find amazing ways to find joy in food and in your self. so literally to be on accountability its my duty to share wheat it in everything!!!!!! seasoning and ish. its is only 3 ingredients to cut out and that is WHEAT, BARLEY, RYE! ONLY 3 THINGS and our temple responds rapidly and healthily. you are amazing and thank you!
omg!!! no gluten huh?! you might be on to something!!! girl all the advice is WELCOME! thank you so much!
@jinju1998 it really helped my mental too I was all the anxious and depressed. Gut health mental health is all hella connected. You got this!!
this is my first time trying the scale that connects to an app but I think it will help with my weekly check ins! thank you love!
The biggest struggle is having so much self-love that I don't even notice the weight gain... then my smart scale is like "B*tch, what happened?"... and my only response is snacks 😅
I'm back in the gym as well. The stair climber is kicking my butt because my stamina is nonexistent. This is sooo hard.
this is tooooo real lol
oh it makes sense in my case. I dont care for myself so when i stay away from family i drop weight
Chick eat clean no artificial stick , protein filled diet, premake homade snacks , and fast stop eating at 8:00pm to 8:00am if your snakish during these hours drink some green tea with honey.
thank you!!!
You got this! 💪🏾
thank you!! I have to do my best!
We still love u so much saerom ❤😂😂
LOVE YOU!!! ❤❤❤
I have told myself to try with something easy like 10k steps a day or around that goal.
Cerose, I am right there with you. I have got to lose this weight and get healthy 😭 “Tired of the fries, but my willpower dies” 😂
I wanna join you to , I’m tired of this belly that is my problem area.
🤣🤣same
im glad you understand lol
Girlllll me too
join the team!!
Go for total package: fit body, fit soul, and fit spirit.
you got me so scared at the beginig sis
❤
Get a VSG! It was the best thing I’ve ever done! I am so so happy
im going to have to look into that!
WHAT?! THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!!!
Same. Girl....Same!
hey twwwwin lol
Everybody has their moments with their way trust me I know I had a whole good ass year where I lost over probably like a hundred and something pounds and then my ass just went right back but I'm starting my journey again anyway so hopefully I can stay healthy I do have to myself because I have diabetes type 2 Now so I guess you know how that feels
omg you are so right! it really does get up and down! but we got this! you got this!!
You are so beautiful 🩷
Great video, hope u doing ok
Currently 198 lbs even, damn! 😭😭😭 Will be coming back to this comment every month to update!!!
You got me worried af in the first seconds 😭
❤❤❤❤❤
The only way I lose weight for real is eating everything I like but in very small portions.
girl I wish I could lose weight like that... watch me mess around and eat everything I like in small portions... I feel like it would back fire for me! show me your ways!!!!
had me scared for a moment girl
❤❤❤ I'm sorry bae!!! don't be scared! I try to approach heavier subjects in a light hearted way!
