Regarding the stand of BBM on the matter of the ICC issue, it may be a clever idea to hold the Duterte camp guessing as to his true game plan or position, while letting the ICC people finish their works in our jurisdiction. However, the thing is that the case of DE LIMA (or about her acquittal after almost 7 years in prison ) is NOT PROOF enough that our CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM is (or has been) working. How could an innocent SENATOR be incarcerated "that long" and then afterwards be posed or used as a TESTAMENT TO or an absurd portrayal of our "working" JUSTICE SYSTEM under which she suffered unspeakable and most deplorable "dehumanization"? This is and absurd claim or assertion about the state of our justice system. I just don't have some sense to agree with this. What about the EJK VICTIMS? Their cases were or have been deliberately abandoned, ignored and UNINVESTIGATED until now, and sadly we are in the process of FORGETTING everything about THOSE CASES. How many still want to believe that we have a "working" CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM? It seems to me we instead have "active" criminals who are thriving around a virtually "dead Justice System" too privileged and well connected to be punished. Let's hope it will change the situation for the better.
