Yes. I used the Iwa as my Favorite wing for quite some time. It works very well in small waves.

Is that tail wing supposed to be up the same way as the front wing like that?
I’ve seen them up the other way in some vids, and wondering which is correct.

Yes. It is supposed to be angled down like the front wing.

nice riding! what size Maliko is this one? which gofoil wing do you prefer to use for surf kite foiling?

ozoneflysurfer. That is the Maliko 160. It was the only Maliko Model for 2017. I now have the Iwa wing and love it.

I have the Kai Foil on a 5”4 prone board and I can’t not pump back out to surf. I weigh 180 lbs. Do you think the Maliko wing will give me a lot more lift?

Nice vid. How does the Iwa now compare and are you downwind foiling on the Iwa? Are they the same size just the Iwa has much more curve?

Hi James,
Yes. I have done a few downwind sessions on the Iwa. The Iwa is 100cm2 bigger than the Maliko 160. It also has outline more similar to the Kai. It is more yaw stable than the Maliko and is carved more easily. I also find it pumps better, so easier to stay flying on downwinders.
