Look what he is saying is right but full sail isn’t a bad college. It is still one of the top colleges in america. What he is saying basically is that this takes a lot of effort and time. This isn’t a bad college im having lots of fun here i think this is amazing you just have to work for it.

I graduated from FS in 2005 and can attest to what it's said here is very true.

hows your career since graduating? I've heard things about full sail claiming that due to how specific the school is that many of their students dont end up in the career they want. idk if its changed much since i heard that as that was years ago.

2:05 That was one thing I didn't enjoy was when you ended up in a new class where you knew no one
(Happens from time to time) and had to be put into a group. Sometimes it turned out great while others were annoying because sometimes you were the only one working on a project while every one else was out smoking weed and partying. This is real world but, in the industry I would assume that the people who have this work ethic would not be at a job with you in the first place but, that could depend on all kinds of different situations.

This is very true. I remember in 2004, the whole group failed a project. I could not get any sense of direction because each student's parts to put together the project were unfinished.

MFA in Creative Writing. Have a B.A. in English Literature. My background is in music and teaching . The teaching staff was like family. I’m about to complete my first novel. The writing program is character driven. You will concentrate on screenplay writing. Television and film. I highly recommend the Journey, but be prepared to work your ass off. Be focused on it, and you will get pro level feedback from teachers tied to the entertainment industry. Like anything in life, you get what you give. You want to be writer . DO IT. Carpe diem.

Very interesting video to know better about that school.
Could you tell how many students gratuated in Game Design there in 2019 or before ? I am trying to understand why so many F.Sail alumnis are presently working in the game industry compared to others as the quality of their programs seems less good than other schools, like University of Southern California for instance or DigiPen.

FS offers a different type of learning. The professors are from the industry and they teach exactly what students need to do. It's not theory, it's practicing every day

Im online and it’s sad that we pay so much at this school for mediocre products. And there are so many students that half ass there assignments. Then wonder why they failed that class. I say if you decide to go here, try to make a friend or 2. Make sure that friend isn’t just there for answers or distractions. I found a great friend here and I’m sure she and I will find a good job after this and will work on many projects together.

I'm visually impaired and I cant find ANYTHING on accessibility services or some things about the major. I have to complete a form asking some questions that the site doesn't answer. i shouldn't have to request info as it should all be said on the site.

Here’s the one big thing to avoid, this school all together. It’s scheduling is brutal, really expensive and it’s credibility is junk. I went there years ago and got treated like crap for no reason other then I had learning disabilities and needed extra help. Got insulted by the teachers there (if you can call them that they didn’t seem like teachers to me). And mislead they told me they were the kinda school that worked well with learning disabled students then treated me the way they did to were after I quiet (in only a month i got the heck away from this place.). The president Gary jones had his secretary call me to apologize for how they treated me. This school is not what it used to be when it first started it’s now a for profit scam. Go elsewhere your wasting your time and money 💰 here.

Stay away. My niece got a two-year degree from full sail. what she apply to the University of Florida they would not transfer any of her credits. Stay away

Then she went there for the wrong reasons. If she was planning to keep studying and not jump into the industry she wanted then by all means this is not the school. Considering how expensive it is too.

Why on gods green earth would you be surprised that FSU credits dont transfer? It's among the top schools in the nation for the Entertainment industry, and it's VERY clearly outlined in your Niece's Enrollment Agreement (A 10ish page document that she has to read and sign) That FSU credits are transferable at the discretion of the other college. You're aware that they will not transfer from the start. Lmaoooooooooooo
