I kinda felt like Team Gangam Style was all over the place, but I really liked Teams Call Me Maybe and Loco! Team Phantom of the Opera is definitely my favorite!
@@laurenlopez1091 Agree With you all the way! Yes there was 1 Couple on that Team that I feel like may either Not been Into the Style of Dance or been Uncomfortable... I'm not sure, but they definitely weren't dancing on the same level with the other 3 couples. My Mom, Daughter, Stepdad and I All watched that Season (The 1st All Stars Season) and we agreed that if a fairly large guy like Emmitt Smith can Move It & Shake It and Get Down with the rest of the Team, All Of Them Should Have! I understand that some People Don't Like The Song or The Dance! IMO It's No Different than the Late 80's Song "The Macarena". It was All the Craze my Junior Year in High School and I lived in a Suburban area outside of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex and Attended a pretty large High School. Now they have (or had when my Daughter was in School) "The Cupid Shuffle", "The Superman", Now they're doing Songs & Dances that have a little more of a "Country Vibe" like the Walker Hays Song "Fancy Like". Oh and don't forget the Blanco Brown Song that had Law Enforcement Departments All Over the US doing the Challenge of getting Creative and Dancing The Steps to the music! I think that went on for a year or so. My Stepdad is Retired Law Enforcement and his former Lt. asked my Daughter to help them come up with something because they were going up against A Neighboring Sheriff's Department. It was fun to watch and they had fun with it for the most part, a couple of the female Deputies did get kinda Cut Throat 🤣😂😅🥹🙃😊🫢🫣 But, it All worked out and our Department came out on Top, they got bragging rights, a Trophy which the Sheriff gave to my Daughter After He had my Stepdad take a bunch of photos for the Department Website, The Newspaper, Etc. My stepdad was a Crime Scene Investigator and in his Free Time a Photographer both for the Department and Side Jobs we did together like photographing Local Dances and Proms. I went to help keep the paperwork straight so when the photos had been developed we knew what went in Every Envelope and I handled the money too. He was really good once I handed him a Numbed Envelope and Order Form he shot a couple of shots with his 35mm for Record Keeping purposes. Then he shot the Actual Photos that were for Printing with his Digital Camera Set Up. I wrote on the Order Forms a brief description of the Clothing as well. After he retired as my Daughter got more Active in Extracurricular Activities and In Non ~ Glitz Pageant Competition & Public Appearances, Travel, Volunteer and Charitable Work and Raising Awareness for her Platforms, he had to Teach Me more about Photography, Lighting and how to get the best out her in Still Shots.
can we all take a moment to appreciate the transitions in the Team Mambo Dance between Lacey, her partner Tony then going into Shawn Johnson and her partner Mark Ballas as well as in the Team Call me Maybe dance, between Louis Van Amstel his partner Sabrina Bryant transitioning into Derek Hough and his Partner Shawn Johnson (again). It was so flawless, that if i wasn't paying attention i would of missed that they both danced with each others partners before going into their solo dances. Not a lot of team dances do that and i think that little detail makes their dances even the more better.
Team Phantom of the Opera is my favorite. I hope they can bring back DWTS. Though some of the pros may have moved on, it would be something light and fun to view.
Team Call Me Maybe was so stacked. How Sabrina Bryan went home after that confuses me to this day. She should've won at least one of the seasons she was on.
Maybe if you have time, you could make new ones... I know a few years back one team did a Halloween Nightmare before Christmas one that had Nick Carter in it. I loved that one, it was SO creative and their costumes were SO cute. I love all these videos. Maybe you could do Top 15 and add some more.
Does anyone here remember Team Dance from a much eariler season it was with Macie Gray and I think theybwere dancing to that J Giels Band song "Centerfold"
