I think Chuck wanted to keep this book as a self contained one shot and that death helped to tie up the loose ends. I honestly felt the same way a bit but I still think it's a good story and since it wasn't uncle Ben there's certainly a chance of him coming back in another issue of the ongoing series. Thanks for the comment and watching!
The story was MEH. Horseman was 2 dimensional and not too smart. The main mob boss was generic and posed no threat. The story didn’t need him. The art saved the book from being a 5 out of 10.
I think the story was really good. Horseman not being smart is because he was trained as an Army Ranger so his blunders make sense. Tuna could have been developed better and utilized more but Chuck Dixon opted to tie up his story rather than doing that. I do agree that the art is stellar. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@ The story wasn’t bad. It just felt like the typical vigilante story we’ve read a million times before in comics. And I’ve read a ton of comics. Keep up the good work
Best comic yet, they made Horseman very distinct from a Batman or Punisher
I agree. Hector really stands out and i'm excited to see how he develops.
Or both
It's definitely a great read. Hector is probably my favorite character thus far
I'm not sure if he'll top Braxwell for me but he's a really interesting character for sure! Thanks for watching!
That death toward the end was an absolute waste of what could've been a reusable character. Just stymied as to why @Dixonverse disposed of him.
