3:40... A Supra getting ran down up top? MAD props to that S2000. Those things are a whole different story when you boost them and do it correctly. I know what I'm saving up for.
I do agree that this is one amazing car I have major props for it. But I know that twin turbo mustang and unfortunatly it had a boost leak on the night of that race I believe :/ would be awesome to see a rematch and see how the wait advantage plays out :) but no matter how many cylinders or engine size its all about who puts the most work and passion into their cars. That is something all car guys and gals should respect :) I have mad respect for both the stang and this car.
I have to admit that I clicked this video cause I wanted to see the set up of the turbo on an S2K. But having the drama BS with the circus music in the background was quite funny!
Hondas are very reliable when stock and once built with the right parts and properly tuned .. they are beasts and still reliable as hell..good comment !

nah man i live in florida and i live only like a hour and some change from these guys. not everybody has a sweet car like this. i wish my crx was as nice as these
@DtoWnSux1 you still have vtec with a turbo. the only way to get rid of it it to stop the solinoid from hitting the cam over to the bigger lobes. you might not feel it as much in a highly boosted car because the turbo kicking in will put you back in your seat more than vtec will but the vtec "system" will still work. you can see if you look up a dyno page from a boosted vtec engine you still see the very noticeable change in slope where vtec engages.
yup haha.... man its amazing how these little Japanese motors make such high power with little displacement.. that's a nasty little car and is a daily driver..very impressive...Supras didn't even have a chance..all nice cars in the vid but the s2k is just purely insane !!

I'm afraid that gt you sent me wasn't of my taste since i don't like v8 running with turbo, but perhaps i've seen a camaro with turbos that i loved. v8 + turbos = doesn't mix well, the sound its just not right, rather have a v8 with a supercharger in it. I saw the 2011 corvette and i have to say i'm in love with that car and impressed with its performance.
Sweet sounding S2k. You can't help but love such a light weight RWD car. F20c's can make some respectable power. Although this is nearing the current limit of the F20c. If you wanted more, you'd have to drop a 2jz or something similar into it. :[ Can't complain about 400+ hp/liter though.
btw, I know the best of both worlds. I have a turbo 1996 volvo wagon in purple, and it's "small" 2.9l L6 pulls ass with that heavy body. I hope to have some videos of it up once I do a manual swap (I've gone through 2 automatics just test tuning it) :'( I just purchased a 2004 mustang convertable in silver with a 2.4 kennebelle and I have respect for all worlds of car. As long as you put heart soul and work into it. It doesn't matter what you race or what you brought. Or even how you race.

@wiskieDan that s2k is one hell of a beast. engineering plays a key role. the s2k will make the power but it will take a lot more boost for an s2k to make 800hp than a cobra. Smaller engines seem to handle large amounts of boost well. Larger displacement engines dont need as much boost to make good numbers.
@Krizz911 Obviously the s2000 is heavily modified but the engine block is stock. stock k20 block with low compression pistons on high boost. Yet you need to see the specs of a drag v8 engine. the pistons are double the size of the ones of the honda.
@DtoWnSux1 yes. with turbo's you have to worry about your engine internals though. pistons, connecting rods stuff like that. I know in a b-series motor that came in the integra can safley boost up to 8 lbs or so and not hurt anything on stock internals. I'm not to sure about the f-series in the s2k's so I'd research it before just slapping one on but a turbo system won't do anything to how vtec works or when it's engaged

not a v8 fan but i got to explain this to you... if the car has a smaller engine that makes the car lighter and putting a turbo on a smaller engine makes it do the torque to weight ratio to be VERY HIGH and thats why it is fast I LOVE HONDAS V10s SUPRAS AND GOOD SOUNDING V8s
996tt Beast yes you can , the motor comes with forged internals, stock motod does 700hp and over 15psi of boost no problem, yes i know it sounds unreal because no othere motor from the factory can do that being a 2L 4cylinder , k20s can make 500 stock internals , yea a 2jz needs alot more motor work to get 700whp
@VivaLaNick335 i wouldn't know what gearing ratios would be best. with a project like that you would need to experiment what works best for your application. as for the kit, it will help with the aero dynamics plus a proper rear wing (ex. APR's), everything is in the tuning! BTW who cares if you are 14, at 14 i wish i had a plan laid out for my car! if you can get track time if possible because the sooner you learn to drive a car properly the better you'll be by the time you get your license!

@wiskieDan I love s2k's, but you need to remember that supra engines were made in the 90's, and s2k engines are more current, thus allowing for technology advancements. Plus honestly throw a turbo on a 2JZ and it will eat the shit out of anything on the road. I imagine that s2k had alot of work put into it, whereas a supra... well its a supra

He would need about 1200rwhp to keep up. But then there's major traction issues with power like that. I know I hate seeing Mustangs, especially Terminator Cobras, lose to imports, but ya gotta give credit where credit is due.
