I've been predicting this ^ since the season started. Tango should have that giant game on his own server, where he could invite anyone to come and play. Mods could service the game so Tango can enjoy playing too. Then all that work doesn't get shelved b/c the season is done...meh.

I'm just picturing in my head Grian cosplaying Luke Skywalker. Enchanted Netherite Swords can be like lightsabers. I'm also daring for a starter home to be the Millennium Falcon. Building iconic ships like that would be cool. If a group were to live in a snowy biome, it'd be like Hoth. Craft some farms looking like Walkers. A villager trading hall could look like the Rebel Base. Even the desert could be a neat place to dwell. Set it up like Tatooine.
Xisuma just said the idea I’ve wanted for a season since Boatem. Give us a season where it’s a server wide base. Like the Hermit Empire but on an even larger scale
I feel like a lot of people weren't around for season 4 but that was... kinda that, one small mesa biome where everyone was set up in a single community. I can't remember exactly what everyone's opinions were after but I remember a lot of the hermits wanting more space/freedom but then after S5 I think they wanted to be more connected so I think they've tried to strike a balance since with freedom and connection

Yes they could do amazing things, however those mods are notorious for generating horrible frame rate lag with the more complex the details and the more that's not full standard blocks... Papa Ks base in 5 hermits Create series is a perfect example, it looks amazing but holy cow the lag is intense...

I don't know what we've done to deserve access to Scar's corner of the internet, but I'm so glad to be here. Scar's creativity and passion is just amazing, and he has such a wonderful positive atmosphere to his videos.
I think Etho and Bdubs, possibly Keralis would be willing to troll Tango with that "season just ended" joke. Although Bdubs would probably go over-board on the "convincing" and Tango would see through it... right after his heart started back up. 💓
id love like a serverwide base; be it like all being connected in one big mountain like boatem; sharing the same build but different parts of it that transition to different styles; or even if it was as simple as how cub was sort of connected to boatem with the edge of the builds touching and transitioning into eachother despite being relatively seperate
Scar Wars may not be here yet but at 2:40 Watching this again with the fact that Season 10 just started now, they actually did made like a Boatem 2.0 where everyone are just lumped into the same area (The Cherry Mountain, Ren's Village, PearlEthoTango trio) :D
If I remember correctly, in one of his streams scar said that he didn't went for the scar wars concept because he didn't feel like it yet and the idea hasn't been properly thought out. He said that the concept may or may not come in future seasons so it's up to scar, really
I agree with Xisuma that builds a ton of hype, also I'm the same way I've got base plans far in advance I'm no where near done with the current world I'm on with my friends I'd say at least another 6 months or so till any of us are done, but I've been planning the next base for months, I'm a huge Mythology nerd I love Mythology and Folklore and Religions stuff like that so my next plan is to make my version of the 9 Realms from Norse Mythology but I'll probably draw inspiration from other myths as well I've always wanted to make a custom Biome base like Rens S7 base or Cubs S8 base so having 9 massive Realms gives plenty of opportunity. I'm also going to be building a game that's going to be like a mix of Zelda Dungeons, Decked Out, Speedrunning, and a pinch of Escape From Tarkov. I'm extremely excited for that got tons of puzzles I've been building
I've always wondered why the hermits didn't all group up in one place. Aside from lag, perhaps. Boatem became very laggy and it was only like one third of the server's players.
I think if they ever do that they will need to come up with limits on redstone projects and entities like armour stands, which would disproportionally affect half the players. Probably only have one villager hall and shared resources. Tho I wonder how much of boatem lag was caused by the additional mods they added that season.
tango indeed scary, deckout can easily became server wide project, yet he done it himself, (of course other hermit helping too but at the core it is his solo project).. trolling him ended season when deckout finish is just too cruel, lmao

How he and two other model makers a while ago at ilm were painting star wars models and one of the model makers was doing star trek but trying to use star wars aesthetics and it just wasnt working. The main difference one why it doesnt is star trek is a utopia and star wars is a dystopia. Thats why i lvoe the star wars aesthetic especially. Everyone is fighting for the resources ships feel like they are scavenged, etc etc. no parts of the ships and buildings are symmetrical or even. Stark trek on the other hand everything is “perfect” symmetrical and even. When people try to do the star wars vs star trek thing. You cant be like “this ones better” because they are fundamentally different on some many different levels that they are their own things and not comparable.

The Hermits really don't need to worry about spoilers that much. Every little peek just gets everyone more excited for it. I've literally gone and watched someone's videos just because of the sneak peek we got on a stream.
Everyone lumped together like 'Hermitopia' in the Empires crossover would be epic. One massive Ultra Mega base that connects, but every hermit still has their signature build style in their area. Imagine like Keralis having a modern style house that connects to Gem's cottage core style that connects to Doc's super science style? Crazy and amazing.
Now that Season 10 is on the horizon, I really hope that X follows through and builds a Death Star base above Scar's base. It's been a while since they've worked together.

HC is such a wholesome community, it's crazy to me that it has remained that way for so long, considering how the internet is sometimes, but I'm really glad that's been the way. I know we've had some personal stuff, burnout and of course, TFC passing, but even then, this server has some of the most creative and wholesome players i've seen in any community, I don't follow them all because I don't connect with all of them on a personal level but I do appreciate every single member of the HC server.
I've had plans for years to build a Death Star in the End so that it looks like it's in space, but I have not yet decided I hate myself enough to commit to a build of that scale in that difficult of an environment. Maybe X will be able to channel enough hatred to do that idea.
The plan to have everyone on the server sounds cool, but I think there are also advantages to having several independent factions of hermits. It creates more interesting conflict, and it gives more reason to watch other hermits’ series
Perhaps end of 2023/early 2024 would be the new season, but also wait out for everyone's big project to finish with a few months of time to spare and enjoy this season/setting up ending plots.
Scar could get some really cool inspiration from a game called Outer Wilds. Has the same aesthetic he described but instead of run down it’s all just the very start if spacecraft. Spaceships made of wood and nails essentially lol

They did use it on a series on a separate server a while ago and Bdubs made the most amazing builds!! It was called FoolCraft
They have a series called FoolCraft on several hermits channels. Scar and X are some of those hermits. Hope this helps.

It didn't help Boatem that Mumbo didn't have at least a minimal amount of lighting on his Mesa base so that mobs wouldn't spawn on or in it.
It was 5 hermits out of 26 (plus Cub just behind Pearl's section of the gigabase)

Perhaps end of 2023/early 2024 would be the new season, but also wait out for everyone's big project to finish with a few months of time to spare and enjoy this season/setting up ending plots.

Scar could get some really cool inspiration from a game called Outer Wilds. Has the same aesthetic he described but instead of run down it’s all just the very start if spacecraft. Spaceships made of wood and nails essentially lol
