I love this song. The song is literally dripping with evil intent. Keith David really did a great job with this song in the film. Shows how evil the character of Dr Facilier is when making a dark deal with the prince and his butler. Both Jellzybelle and Lydia here really did a great job with their covers of this song, I'd like to imagine both of them were the ones making the deal like 2 aides or henchmen and Facilier was there as support. Use your Imagination and what do you think is going on in this version of Friends on the Other Side?

« This is the thanks I get? » as a villain song sounds so much like « When will my begin? » from Tangled while « Knowing what I know now » as a hero song is similar to « Be prepared » from The Lion King. They’ve completely reversed and mirrored both hero and villain song.
