To be fair to Hilda, the conductor who was walking her to the dining car locked the door and then didn't notice that the person he was walking to the dining car wasn't with him. I mean, I get it, sometimes people don't get enough sleep and they can be really absent-minded. But that was hardly Hilda's fault.
