After he done his 1st assignment, Raimond clean up all the messes (helping his server teammates). That is something extra wonderful touch in view of hospitality industry. Also he tried to reduce his pressure by making sounds like whistling a song, etc.. i love that. He showed his character behind the stage. Overall, he deserve this award. ❤
amazing how stressed out they are, I imagine with no audience they'd be so much more natural. I've watched the 2019 and then 2023 only to see Nina runnner-up twice. Heartbreaking as I feel she has an amazing style and confidence
FIRST! Let's go! I unknowingly drank a bottle of Magnum Opus because it was the only bottle my parents had. I don't think any of us knew it was prized because it was stored in a kitchen cabinet, and I probably drank it from a mug or a cup but definitely not a glass. That bottle label instantly took me back because I remember thinking at the time that the signatures looked fancy, however I cracked it open because wine labels on cheap bottles always seem so random. To bring this story full circle, I was a student at the Robert Mondavi Institute and took intro to winemaking for one of my electives.
Congratulations to the three finalists and the rest who couldn't make it top 3........the stage was big and it's not easy to show case your professionalism if not used to....but all the same 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.......Cheers Romanos
Congratulations to all three finalists. Giving the silver medal to the runner up seemed like an after thought, I felt sorry for her as she was left in the background when the winner was announced. Poor finish and she stood out as the lone woman on a stage dominated by men all clamoring for the limelight.
It's a livestream of the final, apologies for not figuring out how to do simultaneous subtitles of a live streaming. If you know how to do this technically, please let us know! Cheers!
@@ASISomms I have the same problem. You should upload the video again with at least english subtitles. It is not really difficult, you could figure out alone...

Love this! I’d recommend showing the wine they are describing to show the audience if they are accurate or not. Other than that, love these!
Congrats and cheers my friend !!

Such a great story to tell! Did you guess the wine from the first image then?;)
Incredible! What dedication to their craft. He felt those hours paid off when his name was called and he yelled out. Awesome.
We couldn't agree more! Live stream does give the raw emotions! thanks for watching and your interest in sommellerie!

They are really good with their wines and pairings but the thing is that they're not very familliar with how to take care a few tables correctly.
They incorrectly stated that 1968 was the first Sassicaia vintage. 1968 was the first commercial vintage, 1945 was the first vintage.
I am very happy that the 2nd runner up is from Hong Kong Mr Reeze Choi. 👍💯
Congratulations to
Mr.Choi!👍💯
身為香港人一份子,我很為你驕傲🤗
Not a word to a winner, your class is zero.
2:50:55 Yeah, check the water too.
You drank Petrus!! haha and I'm glad to see you win
Above all, Congratulations to you for loving wine. Raimonds Tomsons!! 축하해요 진심으로!!
Raimonds had the most accurate guesses but Nina was absolutely charming intelligent and convincing. I hope she'll win next year.
Nina(?) Showed much more knowledge and charme. Strange decision

The lady contestant lost because she was mostly incorrect in all rounds. It's a wine contest not a hospitality contest.
What do you mean by "mostly incorrect in all rounds"?
this is pretty funny

No subtitles? very subpar production considering it’s a "world class" association..

@@ASISomms you also will need high performance server and GPUs, good Internet connection. Basically AWS has options, as well as Google and others
@@StuttiBand yet a year later subtitles or not you’re still ok. Not that big a deal. 😂😂
