Nice video, always cool to hear people's thoughts on one my personal childhood gems! It was the game that made me want to get the Wii actually. Glad Bowling and Golf were included in this one as well. As someone who experienced Sports and Resort at the same time, I hugely prefer the Resort controls for the accuracy. In Sports they just feel much more sluggish for me, making them way less enjoyable. Too bad that many of the Resort VS modes are multiplayer only. Would've been cool to verse off against the familiar CPUs and whoever they made to be the Champion of those sports. I still remember the excitement for beating each of the Champions of the VS games. In regards to struggles in Swordplay - Showdown (and Duel for that matter) blocking while staggered becomes essential as the Miis start to go in and out of the blocking stance fast. Which makes it easy to get staggered due to a last second block, followed by a quick strike to lose a heart. They will also start to do quick direction switches before striking to try go through your blocks. (Blocking only works if the swords clash while perpendicular, with some leeway) And love the OST. Definitely gets me on an Island vacation mood, and the result/victory themes make the accomplishments feel even better.
