Thanks to the UConn women for winning me a few thousand after that FanDuel scam on IU. Crooks wouldn't let me cash out so I pushed the envelope on a 14.5 point favorite that was only up by 1 late in the 3rd
According to ESPN Stats & Info, UConn beats Baylor to advance to its 29th straight Sweet 16 appearance, the longest streak all-time. The next-longest active streak is 9 straight by South Carolina. Azzi Fudd went for 22 Pts, including 16 in the 3rd quarter outscoring the entire Baylor team
Exactly what UCONN needed competition wise. No disrespect to Vermont, but that level of competition isn't going to get you through to a championship. Baylor will. Great game, ladies. Great win!
@Moormores They also played without their top 2 players most of the season and their top freshman recruit and other starters due to injuries and they still won the regular season Big East title and the Big East Tournament and now are in the Sweet 16 and they are 31 - 5. The rest of the season is icing on the cake! This team has already surpassed expectations and is playing their best basketball right now!
Baylor played very well for a seventh seed team. Well, everyone in the UCONN team can score. Ducharme played very well considering the fact that she hardly played before March Madness (MM). Azzi and others I expect them to play very well. However, UCONN has to minimize the turnovers.
@@user_0400-v6k Yes, every team player can score if they are free to score; unfortunately, the defense of the other team players make scoring by any player a little bit harder.
@@assouankoffi9456 yes, and i love your hopes for UConn... Those TO's can kill a team. If they could cut it down at least single digit, there's no way they'll lose a game, unless the ball won't cooperate 😆😆😆😆..given the fact that they can dominate the boards.
I was at the UCONN Women's Games home and away BEFORE Rebecca Lobo. Unfortunately, I had to move after I went to New Orleans' final four. On my way home to Texas.
As much as I would love to see it happen, it’s a bit too much to hope for. Final Four would make a huge success for this team. Winning it all? It’ll take a miracle.
Had it not been for Aubrey G. and Baylor's lack of height, Baylor would have won this game. In 37 minutes of play, Fudd went for only 9 of 22 and 3 of 12 threes, and also had three turnovers. It's not fair to AG that Fudd gets to "move up" to the starting lineup.
each region’s (Greenville 1&2) and (Seattle 3&4) 4 top seeds get to host the first two rounds on their home court. It wasn’t just uconn who got to do this… South Carolina, Indiana, Stamford, Notre Dame etc got to host as well
@@rashoff You're right, #1 reason, Zia Cooke is COOKING now, not so much when SC played UConn in February AND there will be no more phantom fouls called on Cardosa.
Unfortunately turnovers will keep the Huskies from reaching their 15th straight final four, but an elite eight appearance won't be too horrible with as inconsistent as they've been this year. We'll see if next year's lineup can take care of the ball better. If that isn't Geno's number 1 focus in the off season, then he should consider retirement because it's been an embarrassing stat all year long.
@@rgrey They've lost to much worse teams this year. Neither of those teams would really be considered an upset. VT is a higher seed and OSU is virtually a toss-up. Don't get me wrong, I like UConn...I just think they're due to play uneven and lose a narrow one. Indy and Stanford fell so anything is looking possible this year...well except for SC winning back to back titles, that's a given.

See, mid range shots help win games... Uconn finally on it.👏👏👏
Aubrey Griffin changed the whole momentum for UConn with her defense .
Way to go ladies! Great home win for #50 straight at home. Keep it up let's go to Seattle. Go UConn!
Was at the game !!! LETS GO UCONN !!!!!
Way to many turnovers. Coach is going to be pissed. Good game overall Huskies
Excellent communication and passing on the part of UCONN . . . Geno's trademark.
That first half buzzer beater a good Spring piece
Looks like UConn and SC are on a collision course to meet again.
Well this comment aged like milk 🤣. Way to make me out to be a liar Ohio State congratulations 🤣🤣🤣.
Wow great game!!!
GG. Way to go Huskies!
If they stay healthy, it will probably be uconn vs south carolina in finals. The rematch I have been waiting for with both teams basicly healthy.
UConn I believe will win rematch.

UConn had a weak regular and tournament schedule. Let's see what happens after this game

UCONN gave up 12 threes, most of the wide open.🏀❤️🏀❤️🏀❤️
Nika Muhl is my favorite player because my mom's side of the family has a lot of Croatian heritage.

Great inside game and cutters by UConn women’s . That and spacing and quick transitions from turnovers was the 🔑 to the big win over Baylor 😅
Keep it 💯 ROLLING Uconn

Great team effort. You can't really point at one player and say they were the difference maker. All of them stepped up at different times when needed.
Wow nice,,,❤❤❤
I don’t understand their ads implying that the owner is there when you rent from their competitors. Who are they talking about?
Wow. Domination.
This team is 30-5 without paige ??!! Jeez she must be feeling out in the cold right now.
I have a serious question. doesn't it hurt when they bump chest are do they have some kind of protective broads that they wear.
"protective broads"? Is that a teammate that shadows you around the court armed with an AR-15?
