Really excellent video, thanks to Sonay and Ben for letting us behind the curtain. I've always been curious whether practices at a tournament involving preparing for specific strengths/shots of the opponent (left serve out wide, heavy slicer, etc) or whether those things are just something for the player to know/strategize with the coach about, rather than try to mimic in live-ball training.
Great video. How does the booking a hitting partner thing work? Are these high rated LTA players that Wimbledon approach? Or are they local club players?
Great video! More like this would be great with the explanation of what and why the player is doing what they are doing. Also, where did she get the foam ball, that’s perfect?
She hits a great ball ☺️ nice serie of vids, looking forward to the next one. This camera angle is 🤩 Can you talk about her racket setup? Standard Pure drive with Rpm blast ?
Sonay has a great ATP style forehand. Her snap and lag is impressive. I did notice that she has a slight hitch on her drop. I think this is because she is very early in the drop and needs to wait for the forward swing. As a result, she is not taking full advantage of gravity on her drop. And not maximizing her power. I don't know if you can coach this out of her as I am sure her coach sees this. Otherwise her ground strokes are very impressive. Love the video. You did a great job of narration. I'm sure the other videos will be excellent as well. Thanks for all the work in making this.
Beautiful !
Great video, amazing workout !
Nice and clean strokes with excellent rhythm.
Thanks so much for allowing us to witness this.
Great insight! Must have been good fun hitting in on those courts!
Thanks Liam, they’re even better than they look… not a dodgy bounce in sight (apart from my odd shank!)
Holy cow she hits a clean and hard ball! Great videos Ashley👍
She certainly does!! 🔥🎾

This girl looks like young Henin (blonde ponytail, white cap, even facial features and some part of game).
