@@yanexgaming6328 at the end of dmc3, Vergil, weakened after the fight with Dante, fought against Mundus and lost really hard. Not sure/can't remember how the sword got to Fortuna though
I always assumed that Vergil's shadow was shaped as his devil form, but now that I look back at it, it's actually shaped like Nero's blue spectral Devil, which is a good foreshadowing (see what I did there?) to nowaday's situation of the series.
It's both. If you compare Dante's form from 3 & 4 you'll notice similarities between them. The implication is that the version in 4 is the matured demon form, same for Vergil. The ghost over shadowing Nero is Vergil's Devil form because Yamamoto much like Rebellion of is a physical manifestation of its owner's demonic power. So Nero's Demon form at this point is an echo of his father's by channeling Yamamoto's power through him until he would eventually get his own.
“Soon they shall know this devils power, a power greater then they ever imagined. The power of a Son of Sparda” was powerful the first time I saw this and finished it and it still feels right for Vergil
Looking back, I just miss this and the opening scene so much. "Soon they shall know this devil's power.." This line is way too convincing that Vergil could be returning, whether or not he's alive, if not brought back. Of course with 5 coming this will probably be explained. But with my own theory or opinion, I think in DMC4 when Nero first gained possession of the yamato, he somehow released Vergil, or Vergil came back "corrupt" somehow and quietly followed Nero throughout 4. My only evidence is the fact Vergil knows and is well aware of Nero in this scene. He also made note of the Order of the Sword in his previous cutscene, so it almost seems like he was there at the present time of 4. However he did have the yamato in the scene, which wouldn't make sense, but it also might just be capcom giving us a hint. And yes 4 was made over 10 years ago, but they didn't have any development of Vergil's return, they did give us special edition with the confirmation of Nero being his son, thus this cutscene. But, we already known he is Nero's father.. so to bring Vergil back at this point somehow feels like a foreshadow that Vergil is coming back for the yamato. Especially it's a coincidence when you beat the game, and one of the bonus art pictures is Vergil with the caption "Until we meet again?" Hope to get some answers with 5 and can't wait!
Jon. Baldwin His intro cutscene literally says "A few decades ago". He's in Fortuna City long ago, and it even shows the Sparda statue undet construction. The Order of the Sword didn't just spring up one day. It's been around for a while.
I think he was saying "Soon they shall know this Devil's power" in reference to Nero who would have been conceived just prior to his leaving, knowing that his son would one day wield the Devil Bringer (which he may or may not have conferred to Nero during the demon attack prior to DMC4).
Giantdad Lives "A power greater than they ever imagined, the power of a SON of Sparda..." Vergil infact was speaking for himself, he was not referring to Nero beyond that point. "Well, I can't exactly call him misguided." That's the only line he spoke about Nero, and then he paused for a moment before he continued. I really don't want to and I'm not going to debate about whether this scene is in the timeline of DMC4, CLEARLY Capcom gave us this cutscene as a message, not for story reference. It's absolute fan service we got Vergil with DMC4SE, but it should also be a dead giveaway they're designing his combat style and using that gameplay sort of as a demo, or test run for the next Devil May Cry... So Capcom only attempts to give the fans what they want, but we didn't only want one cutscene with Vergil, we want another Devil May Cry with Vergil... Therefore, they're making DMC5! Something about the ending to this scene, is that it isn't foreshadowing, it's actual using symbolism. At first, originally I thought they were only trying to tell us Nero is Vergil's son. But that's such a useless fact we already know, so why would they make a one minute cutscene after ALL these years just to tell us he's the father... And whether they only intended to do give us that answer, the hints they'd hope we've spotted are more obvious. As Vergil walks away, his shadow is Nero's devil trigger, but the yamato was initially Vergil's sword, so the shadow coming back to Vergil is a symbol for his return.
If Vergil was the demon to give Nero the Devil Bringer as of the attack prior to DMC4, wouldn't the Devil Bringer be the power of a Son of Sparda he was referring to? Greater than they imagined, strong enough to destroy the idol they've held for centuries? I mean he's walking away with the shadow of Devil Nero as he says it, I don't know for what reason Vergil would return to Fortuna especially considering DMC5 is set in Redgrave, which could be miles away. He'd be returning to a ruined city to demonstrate...what exactly? He actually says "I can't exactly call THEM misguided", referring to humans. Obviously his heart has been warmed slightly by Nero's mother, whomever she may be. You'd have to find proof of that really, that Vergil is a demo model for DMC5, because I can't see the logical connection if there is one. Why can't fan service be just that? I think in hindsight they've definitely set up for more story about Vergil and Nero with that shadow, finally confirming that not only is Vergil the father of Nero but that the mysterious demon who attacked him in the game's pre-story is Vergil himself (or some part of him that isn't enslaved to Mundus, maybe that escaped when he exploded in his final fight in the original DMC). I don't think it just tells us that Vergil is Nero's father, I think it's setting up for some bigger plan he has (hence why he tears it off of Nero in DMC5 for whatever reason).
Giantdad Lives True, thanks for the correction too. It seems more directed to the humans now that has been adressed. By "can't call them misguided" seems like even though they worship Sparda as a god, who's a demon, they might atleast have something worth fighting for or to protect. (Mind that Vergil hates human beings for their weakness and emotions, so it's almost like a compliment to them.) But one way or another, even if it is the past before the events, they just want to let us know that Vergil was there before. But all set aside with DMC4SE (as well some parts in the series), we all know Capcom is infamous for it's lack of story or incomplete assets, if not development itself (DMC2 is a good example for some of these details), and in some sense Devil May Cry at some point has always had some plot hole, or actually what I'd call lacking in some areas instead. So maybe they did just gave us this to resonate with the fans or...(NOT REALLY CAPCOM DOES NOT CARE FOR US OR VERGIL, THEY JUST WANT TO TAKE OUR MONEY LIKE ALWAYS DAMN YOU CAPCOM!!) 😂 But as for Vergil and the next installment, my thought for his model is sooner or later we're going to get that answer. Whether it's the demo, or Itsuno leaks out some more info on DMC5. For example some people have said somewhere there's a leaked photo with Dante holding the Sparda sword. I think it's fake though, or just speculation, because they haven't told us that. Also anything that could be true, would be all over youtube with analysis and predictions and theories and what not. Honestly, I'm just sure Capcom really does not want this game to be spoiled what so ever, atleast until the day it comes out. But with Nero's devil bringer being ripped off, it's probably one of the biggest questions everyone has right now. Just like that, we still have the question if Vergil's back. We've seen the cloaked man rip off Nero's arm, literally for a second the cloaked man is seen. Like they didn't want us to have a peek at who it is.. It's almost no surprise they're going to try their hardest about not spilling the beans with this game. But bottom line the real proof for us fans will have to be in 5. If he's really not in 5, then it'd be a bummer, but it'd be the answer. People are even thinking Mundus is returning, or that demon-thing resurrecting in hell could be a corrupt Sparda... we don't have the answers or proof, but it's gonna be exciting to see what they're hiding up their sleeve. So if he's back for DMC5 either way, the first question we're going to ask is how the hell is he even back? It'd be fitting to see how he returned after being set free from his nelo angelo form, and most of all, what would be his intentions? Not to bring up another video game series, but for example Metal Gear Solid V is a game very detailed in the form of revenge. They also put a "V" for DMC5 in the logo (something to point out is that there's no figure in the DMC5 logo *I.e DMC1 has trish, 2 and 3 has dante, and 4 has Nero. But 5 only has a V. So no relation to the MGS series, but do they intend to have revenge as a theme? "I'm gonna settle the score with that son of a bitch.." So obviously Nero would want his revenge for his arm and kyrie being taken, but it seems very personal to Nero, more than just some random demon luckily snatching his arm up. Everyone's already trying to speculate on that, but one thing's for sure, Capcom's cooking something up, and soon we'll get those answers. I can't wait. Because either way I think Capcom is gonna bring us something extremely exquisite, as well the fact DMC5 will be the final game, and forsure it is definitely going to be the sons of sparda finale.
So basically, Vergil came to Fortuna, checked the place out, envisioned himself doing exactly what Dante’s gonna do but better, got a girl pregnant, then bailed so he could go unearth some tower at Dante’s doorstep and brag about it. Awesome
I like how he always says “a son of Sparda” instead of “the son of Sparda”, makes me feel like he acknowledges Dante’s existence at least, and maybe considers him somewhat of a worthy rival
I have a hard time believing vergil wasn't aware of how unprotected sex went and unknowingly got a woman pregnant I think deep down he knew he now had a son
What a terrible way awaits him....he is going to lose to Dante and stay in underworld. Lose to Mundus and become his servant - Nelo Angelo. And after nesrly 20 years returning to the world of living as dying man who will split hiimslef into a man and devil...later become one...and asking questions to himself...was it worth it? Be more dead than alive during this time
To think this game came out in 2008, what a memory. I know this is a special edition from 2015 but still this is a good thing. If they make a dmc 6 in the future, AND NOT IN ANOTHER 11 YEARS, then we'll be good with it. Till then, enjoy what you have in the dmc community and make sure to wait for the next game. Peace.
Vergil is back from the 4th game SE. He was hiding the whole time after Dante freed him from Mundus' control, but he was losing his power. 0:15. All he need is his son Nero's arm from DMC 5.
We somehow never really know why he want power even in DMC 5 it's never really stated ( except maybe 'he don't want to be alone' or something like that bit i'm not sure i never played the game ). So my personnal theory is that he wanted power to protect the one he love (most of people agree on it ) like his brother, his mother and, for me, Nero's mother (because yes i think he really love her ) but the whole Humanity in extension. First to follow his Father path and secondly because of the valors his Mother and Girlfriend/wife has teach him. Also '*maybe*' that Vergil think he can bring back Eva and his love interest from deads because Sparda power > Mundus power, and Mundus can create an univer like nothing and has create Trish so bringing what was once a life should be easier that create a new one. I will add that Trish was resurected by accident (from Eva amulet and Dante's tears if i'm correct ) so why this won't working here? Once again just my personnal thoughts don't want to impose my opinion.
OMG guys did you see his shadow? No way, it can't be! Vergil's Shadow is that tall vampire lady from Resident Evil Village! I can't believe DMC 4 predicted RE8!
I wonder how someone even convinced Vergil at this point in time to boink? Woman must have had some serious Rizz to get someone like Vergil to boink them and have a son that will bitch slap your brother in the future
I think it's because THIS is the power of Sparda. Like, Nero in DMC4 once said that Sparda has a heart so Vergil not just boink some women, he show (even back in time) that he is not such a full-demon. The boink was not just inner animal, but love -> the power (what is Vergil looking for)
Just imagine if the gameplay was canon, Vergil would’ve left the town saying “soon they’ll know a power…” despite just having literally destroyed Sanctus
I wonder if this take place before Devil May Cry 3 when Vergil went into the Underworld to face Mundus, failed, got under control and get killed by Dante in Devil May Cry 1 because it would not make sense if this is happening at the same time like Dante and Nero
Vergil does not go to the Underworld until after DMC3. He spent his youth traveling the world looking for leads and artifacts related to his father and the war against the underworld, which lead him to Fortuna before the events of DMC3

"I'm gonna settle the score with that son of a bitch.."
So obviously Nero would want his revenge for his arm and kyrie being taken, but it seems very personal to Nero, more than just some random demon luckily snatching his arm up.
Awesome
Best bro😂.
Virgil really is based asf
You know what'd be really funny? If Vergil's DT jumps out of his shadow at the end and starts dancing like his EX taunt from DMC5.
It would tho 😂
he's going to buy cigarretes
And never comeback
Nero's DT in Vergil's shadow was what convinced me that Nero was his son.
I like how he always says “a son of Sparda” instead of “the son of Sparda”, makes me feel like he acknowledges Dante’s existence at least, and maybe considers him somewhat of a worthy rival
Or grandson of sparda
He could of indirectly referred to nero
I have a hard time believing vergil wasn't aware of how unprotected sex went and unknowingly got a woman pregnant I think deep down he knew he now had a son
Of course he always did , read fhe final issue of visions of V
Not only he walked away menacingly, but he also let his "wife" take care of her kid alone!
10/10 - too much MOTIVATED
bro this music makes me cry
Teacher: ok class you'll need to be in a group of 3 for this assignment
The 4th homie:
TAKE A LOOK AT VERGIL'S SHADOW IT'S PROVES THAT HE IS NERO'S FATHER
Sanctus alrrady revealed it at the end of mission 9
That shadow is show vergil true devil form in dmc4🤯
This dude literally run away from child support in pursuit of power
Best ending in my opinion in the entire DMC series.
Vergil: has arms hidden in cloak
Devil Trigger: imma pretend i didn´t see that
The power of a Quantum Ranger.
God man I love this simple, beautiful, and awesome ending!! Got it yesterday and it was phenomenal... Brings chills to me.
Be more dead than alive during this time
Me when 17 : vergil is literally me. Me when 33 : vergil is literally me.
Vergil leaving town without knowing he in the future has to pay child support :)
Can't believe after everything virgil said and done he had a kid with a human woman i wonder who nero's mother is
Vergil after clapping cheeks and making Nero post nut clarity speech after this he goes back to being power hungry lol
Peace.
*I AM THE STORM THAT IS ESCAPING, EVADING PARENTAL OBLIGATION*
Still find it crazy it was Virgil who had a one night stand with a woman and got her pregnant
"I guess you were young once too"
Vergil is back from the 4th game SE. He was hiding the whole time after Dante freed him from Mundus' control, but he was losing his power. 0:15. All he need is his son Nero's arm from DMC 5.
Vergil's DMC4 story is before DMC3
Teacher: get in a group of 3
The 4th homie: 0:26
God, Vergil's shadow here is so fucking cool.
Vergil is the real hero of DMC
Yes, he is!
Of course my master is the real hero
Neo he’s cool but he not a hero
@Afrid zmn he is an anti hero
“A few months prior...” This is a key note to scribble down.
Devil May Cry Vergil will give us the truth as to what is really going on
OMG guys did you see his shadow? No way, it can't be! Vergil's Shadow is that tall vampire lady from Resident Evil Village! I can't believe DMC 4 predicted RE8!
i had post game depression from this last scene, i feel empty after finished the game
Ever notice the shadow of Vergil in the end? Yes, that's the devil bringer of Nero
I remember that day
is this where vergil leaves after he stab a woman's precious part?
DISAPPEAR INTO THE NIGHT
LOST SHADOW LEFT BEHIND
OBSESSION'S PULLING ME
FADING I'VE COME TO TAKES WHAT'S MINE!
If you look closely, you can see that Vergil's shadow resembles his SDT in DMC5
It's actually Nero's DT
This deserves more views
hermoso ending con este poderoso personaje vergil 😊😢😢😭😭
I wonder how someone even convinced Vergil at this point in time to boink? Woman must have had some serious Rizz to get someone like Vergil to boink them and have a son that will bitch slap your brother in the future
I think it's because THIS is the power of Sparda. Like, Nero in DMC4 once said that Sparda has a heart so Vergil not just boink some women, he show (even back in time) that he is not such a full-demon. The boink was not just inner animal, but love -> the power (what is Vergil looking for)
Judgement Nut and dip.
Yeet and run
The shadow... It's URIZEN!!!
The shadow's design is meant to represent Nero's 'Devil Bringer' specter as to foreshadow Vergil being the former's father.
Vergil is the best
Disappear into the night...
This game has amazing writing! When he said "This has truly been a Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition." I couldn't help but tear up!
Vergil shortly after performing Judgment NUT End
me leaving my old school:
Me after end of the school
No more this
Me after end of the school be like:
Me when I left a high school party
That moment you realize Vergil might actually not be talking about himself entirely, but talking about Nero and his potential o.o
Virgil didn't know about Nero's existence till DMC5
@@Wolfs0n well yes, but what I mean is like he was aware he might be a father soon or something lol
Yup
@@Wolfs0n he knew, he just forgot lol
@@lautarocardozo5214 no because then he’d say the power of a grandson of Sparda
Vergil walking away after some random woman got JUDGEMENT NUT!
Just imagine if the gameplay was canon, Vergil would’ve left the town saying “soon they’ll know a power…” despite just having literally destroyed Sanctus
This is first Vergil's story.
I love the entire sequence of this ending, truly beautiful.
At this point is when anyone could make a guess what Nero and Vergil's Relationship was, most would say perhaps Father Son
He really proved his devil power is stronger than Sparda's in DMC5! Quite the hefty foreshadowing!
Vergil after having a 1 night with Nero's Mom
Vergil: Well....I can't exactly call them misguided😏
En serio lo dije una vez y lo digo de nuevo el encapuchado misterioso que le corta el brazo a Nero es Vergil
si es vergil, se le escucha un poco en la voz y vemos como sabe usar bien la yamato
Eso era obvio bro
Even though devil may cry 4 was somewhat difficult to play I still enjoyed getting to play as Vergil makes it all worth it
I really want to comment “ OMG THE SHADOW IS URIZEN “ just to piss him off 😂
Be an asshole... That's ur true nature.
@@Wolfs0n Whoa that's interesting, it is a great information and I'm surprised that you know everything about Devil May Cry Series and also thanks for correcting me about the storyline
@@everg.6504 Before the ad-pocalypse and you RUclips went to shit this channel was very DMC centric and everything was confirmed by creators and directors or explained on the old DMC website.
But RUclips changed and the old website got replaced after the shitty remake.
So I just started uploading through PS4's share features, made for quick and easier uploads.
WE love Vergil!!!!
Yall better be careful of him, hes a storm...

Wow, that looks like Urizen. It'd be cool if it is Urizen. It's Urizen, by the way, because that'd make it better. No, I didn't read the pinned comment, but I did see the word "Urizen".
Not Urizen but Nero's DT
How could anyone even mistake the shadow as Urizen? The silhouette is COMPLETELY different 😅
We saw his power!
urizen is in the shadow omg wow such amazing forshadowing kek
Good bye vergil 😢😏
ALFATWA DINZA RESSNU no now you have to prepare yourself for saying hello 😤😤😤
Vampire Nero Soulless yeah... i know... he will appear in DMC 5
ALFATWA DINZA RESSNU yes
@@alfatwadinzaresnu9264 Vergil will return in Devil May Cry 5.
But i think vergil DMC 5 is not the same as vergil before like DMC4 and DMC3 in DMC5 he is a badass
You know, I just saw the pin and I had to take a look.. how the fuck do they even look like each other? How does Vergil’s Devil mode look like Urizen? I don’t get it people.
There’s a different between them and even by their shadows, you can tell how they look. The shadow Vergil has here is the demon that has been his other side while Urizen looks like a giant beast with more roots than what a tree has. Plus their heads are shaped differently
@Lars McCullough yep
I am the storm that is approaching!!!!
"O poder do filho de sparda" vergil é foda
A tempestade que está se aproximando.
I love the ending, and the music.
Os céus estão decaídos hoje a noite... Uma historia de um filho com poderes demoníacos, com um poder incapaz de ser imaginado, o poder de um dos filhos de Sparda...
Vergil: I'm going to get some milk. Don't expect me to return
This is nice ending for devil may cry 4 after all the stories and gameplays, looks like a welcome for devil may cry 5
@Lanzx issamo he sayed that he couldnt call them exactly misguided cause they got right on venereting sparda. But their methods on doing things including killing other people and using "the savior" is wrong (the plot we saw en devil may cry 4)
Vergil though more on the power of sparda was better that their ideology on the savior.
Soon they will* know 😍
Ahmad Sarairah هاي👋
Omg he talking to the audience deym i just notice that now.he just broke the 4th dimension with that line.
