    So cool, these things were fitting with either the D17, or K20. I prefer the first gen over the second.

    9:40 is place for AC switches on/of & high/low speed. The vent holes are missing as well.

    i use to own one of this, you can get it from dealer in southeast asia too, basically a 7 seater civic (they came with manual too), really practical and sporty mpv to drive

    I always thought the Stream was quite good looking for an MPV. They were officially available in the UK for some years but are rare here today.

    These are pretty cool vehicles, it looks like it's basically a 5 door EP3.

      @@kanggoo57 Yup, that was totally a missed opportunity IMO. Maybe Honda didn't want to take sales away from the TSX, V6 Accord, TL, etc by offering a sporty, decently quick family friendly Civic. I think that's a lot of why we never got the Acura EL too.

    Despite being a K20, this will most definitely not rev up to 8000, it'll probably have the limiter set to 7k or something.

    Ugh... we have got to get rid of this 25 year ban in the US.
    What do you feel an abolishment of the ban would do to the prices over there?
    I personally think it would lower prices on many of the vehicles, as supply would surpass demand.

    • @saddamlz2305
      @saddamlz2305 7 лет назад +2

      You make a good point, but that's only for cars that have been made in large numbers. All JDM legends will increase massively in price.

    • @RyanDeClue
      @RyanDeClue 7 лет назад

      DDrifters That’s not really how market prices work in the car world.
      Rarity has virtually nothing to do with it.
      It’s all about nostalgia and popularity.

    • @saddamlz2305
      @saddamlz2305 7 лет назад +2

      Trust me man, before R32 GT-Rs used to be 5-7K for a nice one, now they've skyrocketed in price due to low production numbers and high demand. One of my friends bought an R32 GT-R in Canada when it was 18 years old. It was around 5-7K, now you rarely see a nice one going below 10K due to being available in the U.S.

    • @RyanDeClue
      @RyanDeClue 7 лет назад

      DDrifters The R32 and R33 were not low production cars. There’s more than enough of them to go around to buyers. You cannot scroll through the Nissan section of the auctions or dealer listings in Japan without running into 15-20 GTR models a week.
      They’re not rare.
      The R34 was lower production, but that was a serious flagship vehicle.
      Nissan is not an exotic marque or some long defunct company that made bespoke cars. Rarity is not the driving force of their sales.
      Paul Walker is the driving force of GTR sales. Period.
      99% of the buyers won’t even know the Bathurst Racing wins or subsequent ban. They’ll know nothing about that car except for what Gran Turismo and Fast and Furious taught them.
      Nostalgia. That’s what causes prices to rise in the automotive world.
      I remember when Muscle cars were worth ZERO. You could not give them away. I mean that very literally. Could not convince someone to physically take them from your yard or lot for free, other than he local scrap yard owner.
      Then those guys that grew up with them hit their early 40s, had expendable cash, and wanted to relive their childhood.
      BOOM.
      Prices went insane.

    For who doesn't know much about this car or even it is existing or not,it's a compact MPV that's built on a Honda Civic 2001-2005 platform and it has engine source from the Civic despite the K20 as used on the EP3 Civic where this people mover is based on. Two generations of the Stream is being produced under the platform of the Civic being the EM for the first generation and the FD for the second generation. This vehicle has been succeeded by the Honda Jade which is another compact MPV that's build under Civic FB's chassis and despite being a separate model.

    Nice car! I like these a lot. Practical but in the same time a very sporty driving car. By the way, is this a TV antenna on the rooftop? Prices in Japan are quite low as Derek says. Probably the shipping and import fees are higher than the actual buying prices of these.

    • @PacificCoastAuto
      @PacificCoastAuto  7 лет назад +1

      Yes, the rear has analogue antennas. They don't work anymore and are something of a rarity to see on a car these days. The analogue signal went out about 5 years ago.

    • @anfahrt
      @anfahrt 7 лет назад

      PacificCoastAuto I like this car and the tv antenna on it because it is so typical JDM.
      The engine in this Stream is the very reliable K20. These are rock solid engines. I had this engine in my 05 Accord. Drove 300.000 km's with no problems. The engine was like new after all these km's.
      Derek, have you ever shipped a car from Japan to Holland? I would like to import a JDM car but I don't know which steps to take and how much it would cost to ship a car from Japan to Holland.
      Thank you for all the great videos you make.
      Have a great day!!

      I paid $4400 for mine two years ago. It had 60 thousand K on it and was immaculate. I live in Vancouver BC Canada. Been a great little commuter with a ton of room for storage, and a more sporty feel to drive than a mini van...better curb appeal too!

    As a proud owner of a high grade championship white 2005 JDM EP3 Civic Type R, that has every genuine Mugen and Spoon part on it and in it. And I still own my ukdm 2004 EP3 Civic Type R as well, I’m in two minds to Turbo me uk car, or give it to my wife, as I’ve owned the uk car for a lot of years now. If I Turbo it, I would definitely get a JDM Stream exactly the same as this one for my wife. Just out of interest what would be the going price for one imported to the UK? Love what you guys are doing keep the vids going👍😃😃
